The slip with the Tengu is sickening to see. Thread isn't straight, loopy unfinished in like 3 spots and just plain horrible.
The watch, not surprised, for 20 bucks.
I think the biggest "win" is the wallet, not that its stellar. Its basic and does do the job it was intended, minus the gimmicky edc tools.
I do have one question though, that SOG scissor multi, are they stout enough? I've eyeballed them for awhile and had considered buying one for any heavier scissor work I may have, that my Charge TTI+ or SAK can't handle.
Random question… what is the band you have on the Instinct? I just upgraded to the solar after using the regular one for 2 years. Thinking about trying alternate bands.

weird how bottle openers are even an addition or selling point, any drinker worth their salt will be able to open a beer with nearly anything. Bic lighters are the easiest and cheapest bottle opener "multi-tools" but I've literally opened bottles with a rock I found on the ground or a stick, let alone weird "bottle-openers" like a water bottle, sunscreen, or folded piece of paper.

Bought the power pint on a whim a year or more ago. Probably 2 yrs ago. Saw it at a gun shop and the price was right. Really love the little fella! Glad someone has paid it some attention. I'm a big leatherman guy but the plier action is so slick. Thanks Taylor!
Nice to see the Power Pint. I've had one in my rotation for a while. It packs a lot of capability and is small enough to fit in my fifth pocket.
That multi tool is a great pick-up. I EDC a SOG Power Access, Power Assist and I absolutely love it.

Yo that streamlight is ten-tap programmable. That and the tempered glass lens is why I like the protac line. It should have 3 programs: high/strobe/low, high only, and low/high or low/med/high.

I have probably 15 multi tools and my #1 is the Leatherman Skelatool CF w/ a damascus blade, BUT I use my two Leatherman Juices literally almost every day. I love the midsize.
I love my juice s2 but it saddens me that leatherman have dropped the juice line of MTs. All well, I guess I'll run my first gen s2 until it dies

If the best option is something that you already have, just pull the old one out and note the price new.
That would be the general idea and basically what I did for the Academy video. But in instances like that, I don’t mind giving people a different take on a different piece of gear that’s also new to me.
On that streamlight you can reprogram it to start on low and double tap to high.
Just tap the switch 9x and on the 10th hold the switch down and it should switch to low to high mode. 150 for the exclusive grip?! Whoa! It was 105 6 months ago.

I'm surprised you didn't point out the knife did not have a lanyard hole. The knife just seems a bit out of place as a Benchmade for some reason.
I carry a tengu flipper for when I anticipate my most casual encounters, and don't think I'll even need a knife. I bought one when they first came out, and kept it in the slip and barely carried it lol. I've found now that I've had zero issues with it, carry it somewhat regularly, and actually enjoy using it when I have to.
Never thought I'd see a Gus and Eddy clip on Best Damn EDC!

I LOVE, the wallet I use it everyday. I personally cut off then sanded smooth that tab at the front so I just push my card out through the bottle opener cut out and pull it out it's very easy and fast. I noticed I had to bend the wallet up or take out all my cards to get the the bottom one with that tab there, this way I sort of fan them out and get what I need. I never use the tools on it I keep tools in my truck but wallet is great. Only complaint is it doesn't carry alot of cash, which is no biggie for me hardly ever carry cash.
You might find the package opener on the Gerber Dime very effective for the current pilfer proof type plastic sealed containers.
I have so many leathermans and just got the powerpint recently and I grab for it the most. Nothing has the size with good sized pliers and tool set with pocket clip.
I like my Powerpint a lot, but carry the Surge w/ratchet extension & bits!! It fits me really well being the Big Bear 🐻 I am. I carry a Warrior 2 Olight, Trayvax wallet, and you don't want to see my Raider lanyard full of a lot of Crap that's impossible to lose!!!

511 money clip and 511 card holder I also have a snap link on my go bag that I carry with me everywhere. I also carry on me EDC a leather man wave and a leather man micro. I have a fixed blade in my go bag
I agree with Taylor on the watch. Also, investigate the Edifice line and find something really awesome that fits your style for not that much more.

Think I saw either a pen or a pencil (with small waterproof notebook) in the camping gear & accessories section.
Should have got the streamlight 1L-AA. Not much bigger, higher lumen rating, and can run on a single cr123 OR 1 aa. It will also run on 1 aaa but you need to get a little crafty with a sleeve for the aaa so it doesn’t move around in the tube. Nice haul though oddly entertaining.

I bought the tengu and returned it the same day when the knife is open and you grip the scales the angle of the flipper tab stabs your finger it horrible
Like you said, I would have gotten a different knife strictly because that one does not have a pocket clip. If it did it would be a solid choice as it looks sick as hell. Since I can't see all the options you had, based on their website I likely would have gotten a Spyderco Para 2 or 3 (whatever size you like. I have a 2). The Bailout is a solid choice as well. I dont own a bug out yet so that would have been my #1 choice but you own several so I left it out. In Order, in your shoes I would have gone 1) Para 2/ 3 2) Benchmade Bailout 3) Benchmade Freek. In the end, at place like this with so many good options for knives, it comes down to which of the great options catches your eye.
Think he didn't have the option to get any Spydies (since he said the in-store shop was limited VS online). That Benchmade looks cool but is terribly designed as he pointed out. I'm not sure why the lack of clip is such a big deal cuz I thought he used a hitch and timber pocket organizer or something.
I’m carrying a Kershaw launch 14 today.
At 2:58 in the knife case all the way in the back there is this black and orange bench made knife. I took a screenshot and zoomed in and the label says 490 arcane but when i went to look it up that is not that knife at all. Does anyone know what that bench made is called? I usually am not a big fan of benchmade but i really like the way that one looks and would love to have it in my collection

I just got 2 Casio Duros for $11 each at a Walmart. They seem to be shrinking their jewelry departments at some locations.
The Walmart by me only has about 10 Casio watches, 6 G-shock watches and a crap load of beater watches. But now women’s watches are plentiful tho
