    From somewhere the Universe is looking at me and loving me I believe. I just finished my 1-1, frustrated and came out with the thought to take a break to run away from this stress and UA-cam showed your notification with the title 'Don't Quit'. I am seeing that as an answer and I need to work on to come out of frustration rather run away from the job.

    I agree with all the points mentioned here. I am a fresher. My growth in the current company is very little. So I have thought about quitting the job multiple times till now. And yes it is very important to consider financial stability and the other factors surrounding it. It is not as easy as people make it seem.

    Great video thanks. I'd say it depends on what job you are leaving. If it's a toxic one, for sure don't just leave, run! It will do more damage that you can imagine and recovering from it can take years. But yes, great points otherwise.

    Many times companies ask you to do extra hours without paying overtime. As far as i know if you are doing exyra hours companies must give overtime money.
    One shoud always decide on time whether to continue in these companies before you destroy your health

    I tried communicating with my boss about increasing my hours and I tried talking to him and he always has an answer in some sort of excuse so now I fought a good fight but I decided to quit and I have another job lined up although it is safe to say that the hiring process will probably take a couple more days or maybe a little bit less. I can't give him a 2-week notice but the least I can do is meet up with him in person and give him a written notice that tomorrow will be my last day so this way he doesn't put me on the schedule this coming week. It's better that I quit then to have to put on my resume that I was fired during my last two weeks notice. My team treats me the same but my manager no longer treats me the same like he used to and I think he's getting ready to either lay me off or fire me. So that's why it is best for me to leave before I start resenting my job even more and things get messy! Plus the new job I'm about to get pays more!

    Use your job to build a launchpad for your side hustle. Quitting your job shouldn't be a quick decision, rather it should be planned well in advance.
    Use your job to build your savings / invest into your side business and grow it (even if you're putting 1 hour extra every day).
    Plan so that your dependency on your job gradually decreases as your side hustle grows. Once your side hustle covers 100% of your basic expenses, congrats! you are financially free to leave your job.
    Remember that this might take years, so patience and consistency is key.

    I disagree with the "passion" part. I was passionate about Linux, I had quit my job after I started making money from that passion. In fact I became more passionate about it, and trust me I am equally passionate about it even after over two decades into it and I can spend hours on it. In fact it is still my main earning source. Yes, I had changed track slightly around 8 years ago but not because I got bored but because I wanted to explore further when I decided to enter AI, so now both I have an extra source of income.

    Our seniors make us work even after the shift is over and its almost everytime. Also they make us work on weekends and if we don't do then they threaten to escalate. This hampers our personal life and we feel tired and feel like stuck. Due to this, the productivity gets reduced and we are not able to do the things as per our potential. Even after all this, the management is rude. Also there is very little learning in the current role that also adds up to the burden. So what can we do in this case?

    • @theCorporateDiaries
      @theCorporateDiaries  3 місяці тому +1

      Dear, this is a very sensitive situation, in such cases, you yourself have to gauge what is the threshold, I know some people do not respect our boundaries no matter how many times we re-iterate it to them and they misuse their power.. so the point is, if the overall job itself is turning in a toxic one, then its better to leave on time, before it gets further messy, I have a very detailed video on 5 red flags before which you must leave.. you may choose to watch that..
      But there is no amount of money that can compensate for a mental/emotional health damage, we must protect it.. find something else in time and move..
      All the very best!!

    I am 22 years old. I resigned from power utility company(Indian conglomerate so called Modiji friend😅) which is operational in Mumbai. I resigned due to shift culture after working for only 6 months. I tried my best to adjust with shift culture(2 morning, 2 evening, 2 nights, half weekoff😅 ) but my body started resisting me.
    So I decided to resign and started preparation for tech field. Soo lets see what's happens next.
    Ma'am what is our opinion on my decision???.
