This is so great! With so many combinations, this is a really good way for returning players like me and fresh new players to get a better idea on how to go about choosing and gearing classes. One thing I'd like to request, if you have time to make one or if it even makes sense to create, it would be great if you help make a video going over some class/playstyle choices when leveling. I know some classes may be fun after max level, but during the leveling process I think most beginners are still a bit overwhelmed and would be great to get some tips and recommendations on leveling class and gear choices and even some suggestions on must doing early during leveling(ie. blue salt brotherhood quests for farm/housing). Thanks!!
I have a stack of things I want to cover, but with no PTS I'm sort of screwed. They are getting worked on though, in-between streams and when I don't have other videos to make. Luckily I've got most of my agenda cleared off for tomorrow. I may stream a bit and then video make or I may just straight make videos. I'm not sure yet.

@@ParadoxGamingNetwork Im really not sure, but I think there is alot new players even before p2w Archeage so maybe you should try like "101 for new players", for daily quests, level up, how you can change classes between leveling(not everyone knows it), labor, trades. etc, just everything quick and simple. Im new player myself and I needed to look for this stuffs between channels and videos. So put it quick in one video and everyone will recommend it on reddit etc. I know I should collect" gilda stars" but its been 2 weeks and got no clue for what xD Its for house or something? And about class, I want something like dagger from Lineage 2, quick, lethal and from behind
As I basically haven’t played AA religiously since CBT and Alpha and some at launch, I’m planning on going Abolisher again. This video has given me a good insight into how I should build it again! I’ve missed this game terribly, I just couldn’t bring myself to play it. At least until now!

I 100% Agree. That's why I will give ideas, theories, tools, etc but I will never give a cookie cutter build with everything filled in. Even if I do a build, I put like 12 of the 18 point sand then pose questions.
I'm brand new to this game. Besides the Archage Codex, is there anything else I should research/study up on so I can give myself a decent start? Thanks, this was a great video, I had no idea there were that many options. I kinda want to be a melee dps, but I just don't know what to combine and that's because I don't know what any of the classes can do, especially once you combine 3 of them. ugh, I feel my head wanting to explode lol.
Have you seen all the hate legacy players are giving AAU on the forums? I think they locked the AAU discussion thread because of it, no new posts for 3 days.
I bet most of the legacy players complaining are the whales inbetween the strongest and the weakest that wont have any more noobs or actuall F2P's to trash on. I personally as a legacy player can't fucking wait for this new AAU. I've played on eanna from beta up until it switched to Taris and except from all of the costumes I adore havent spent a dime on progress or shortcuts. I wouldnt leave my character for any fresh start I wouldnt change realm for any "its better and less p2w here" but this damn its a blessing for us not too rich. I just hope they can deliver what they promise
I'm leaving Legacy with an inventory full of cool shit that I will either not be able to replace or if I can, it won't be easy. And I'm looking forward to it.

Guys, I don't know much about Archeage but I find this really interesting and in-depth system. I played Guild Wars (1) for 1000s of hours and I just freaking enjoyed playing it. This class system kinda reminds me of it so I am interested in playing it. I do have a question about the class skill tree combination, as well as armor type and weapons suggestion from you. For those who know the Warrior class from Guild Wars (1), you could have played it as a sword and board class, doing fairly well dps while waiting for the adrenaline to build up to be able to do great burst damage on the target. Now, I really like the aesthetic of using a sword and shield, but I am not interested in being a tank. I do want to be a dmg dealer, I just do not need to be the best. I would be more interested in doing steady dps with the burst window and having more CC (I liked interrupts in Guild Wars, so if a shield could interrupt, or some other skill, I would like it). Ofc, some mobility would be good, but maybe I am now asking for too much. Anyhow, what do you suggest? Also, what do shields do in Archeage? Do they just give more defense against physical, more block, or do they work in other ways too?
I'm gonna get this game, but damn does it sound hard. Excited to just dive in and learn on my own, aside from watching a few of these videos, which I didn't understand anything of, maybe when I'm actually playing will things start to click with me. Overall though I'm glad for a new start for everyone, because joining an MMO later in its life can be really daunting, so much too do, so many things figured out. My only complaint about AAU is there will be a lot of players that will just progress way faster than anyone else because of all the knowledge they will carry over.
You could always play Legacy for free for the next few weeks just to get a feel for it. And yes, the knowledge the veterans have will be a big deal, but hopefully Archeage 101 will help level the playing field.
Hey i am about to pre order archeage and playing it for first Time. My question iam thinking to play healer is it a good class for pve, pvp or is it bettet to play a dps in high late game
Without healers, in "high late game" if u mean dungeons aid pve\pvp etc, u cannot play. So if u're thinking to do an healer class, and your question is "It is good?" the answer is Y-E-S. Healers are very good on ArcheAge.
I currently play healer. If they had made the changes differently, I would have stayed a healer. But since they did some things that I am against on principle, I'm not rolling healer again.
healers if done right are high dps casters that heal by DOING dps.... basically you put a 30 sec duration buff on your tank/dps, and every time you use your dps skill on enemies it sends a small "heal burst" to your dps/tank. you can reliablly keep 2 of those buffs on your teammates.
Stuck between what to play for PvE... I want literally the most brainless build for mobbing, be it massive AoE or one shotting mobs with little downtime. Am I looking at a mage or some kind of melee build?
I’m so glad you did healer cause that’s exactly what I always play in MMOs but how is the early game grind for healers like this is it hard to kill mobs?
I'm trying to remember some of the mechanics in AA. Can you weapon/armor swap mid fight? Can you do a full armor swap in one button press (if it's macro'd on mouse for example). If I remember you can swap weapons fairly fast, I remember swapping to honor nodachi to pop cd before putting weapons back on.
Hello could you make a video talking about defense in 6.0? After examining it on the PTS I have come to realize it is COMPLETELY different from how I remember it. Things like redoubt being only 10s now, refreshment not existing, no ollos hammer, etc,etc. I see that it recieved humongous nerfs and it seems like melee classes that depended on the strength of defense: abolisher/blighter

Are the first skills of any dps class (that without CD) mandatory in every build? For example: My primary dps tree is swiftblade, do i need to put a point in flurry blade or can i spent that point for others?
Is there some place where I can learn more about Malediction ? This guide mainly covers Sorcery, but I'm also looking for some input for Malediction and what interesting things I can do with it. Is it a good dps primary class like Sorcery or is it a more supporty version which deals less damage ? Also, is there some place where I can learn the advantages & disadvantages of the Races in game ? all I remember about Archeage that in plate armor u get deleted by mages, but questing is easier(can tank more mobs), with leather armour u can do just fine, and still can perma stun enemys until you kill them in 1v1 even tho u have shitty gear, all you need is being on the same lvl. I starteds playing in patch like 1.2 but didN't comitted to the game cause of unfinished/too hard quest line after reaching lvl 50.
Sort of changed no, but the stun/CC lock down is still a thing. That and you get deleted by anyone with a quality weapon until you have buffed up on your armor.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork it's hard to buff your armor while I have to still focus on lvling cause main quest says at lvl 50 (with boosters 54) that I need to kill a thing that's only accure at the end of an event. So as a casual i went back to tera and wow.
I want to do archery as my end game, and in your previous barding video you talk about using archery plus song craft (I believe the example class ended up being ebensong) as a way to hold yourself over until you can get decent gear, but in this video you mention some significant song craft nerfs that make ebensong less of a recommendation. I can’t actually find what the nerfs were, and I’m brand new to the game starting with the release of unchained (and wanting to do archery end game) so my question is: do you still recommend going songcraft to do barding as a holdover until I can get solid gear? Or do the nerfs change that recommendation?

Quick question, I'm planning on rolling as a Shadehunter. I ran as a Primeval way back when the game first launched and then Ebonsong recently ( both times I've ran with leather to maximize dps and range.) Since ill be more cc heavy as opposed to being kite reliant, should I roll Leather again or try Plate, hell even cloth? This is where I'm stuck ;_;
i'm a brand new player to Archeage so this video was very helpful for me. I find this game to be very complex and have lots of options and the game doesn't always teach you these things. Unfortunately I stopped covering Archeage when Gamigo proved they were all about the money. I was going to making a comeback when Kakao took over, but they too seemed as if they didn't really care about the product. So Archeage101.com was taken down a long time ago.
I tried AA on release and was having a good time. Afraid i never "got" to end game type content and never mastered my toon. Clan fell apart and was on an awful server and gave up. Came back last year to try the game after the supposed wipe. I again enjoyed the game but the only people around were xtreme veterans and there werent many.. Any chance that this would be a real chance to play again? I mean do you expect this to actually bring in enough players to support a fun server or two
This is going to be a real chance to play again, a ton of people are coming back and hopefully with this limited cash shop, it should be healthy. They are already doing 2 servers, I expect to see more before 30 September.
Can u see if my “idea” works? Here it is: Plate mage + mdef shield. Supposably good against melee and ranged attacks. But lacks mdef. How to work around that? I need a main source of damage. Sorcery. I want even more defense (I just like being tanky). Defense. I want to cover my lack of mdef. Witchcraft (purge). Playing as cabalist I’ll have average damage, high pdef, good cc (mostly single target), some mdef and mobility (because they randomly decided to put a teleport on witchcraft lol). Is it a good combination?
Great Video. I'm very confused about gearing path, Like go Full hiram vs Go some hiram and some erenor vs Full erenor. Advantages/disavantages. When theoretically 1 surpasses another vs time. I saw some people putting library to the basket and arguing resources vs labor cap on each paths. I'd like to know more and setting the What Not To Do red flags then add more complexity , more brains.
Given the price of Erenor vs the Price of Hiram go Hiram. Erenor vs Hiram is no contest in the pocket book damage potential. It also matters if you want to do PvE, PvP or both. Hiram gives more survivability than some of the library sets, that's why its a 4 part equation.
Yup, there is literally so much to teach about Archeage, and time never stops rolling forward. I'd need there to be no new information about Archeage for like 3 weeks so I could get caught up.

The one element that is not at the hand of the development team and that, in my humble opinion, is also crucial is the community (see Path of Exile as an example of why community actually a crucial part of a game) and to me that's what you represent. i was thinking about a small scale pvp build (2v2 5v5 3v2 and such), with vita/shadow/witch, since i heard that phys defense is going to be nearly useless i thought going for more cc would be better

So I can tell you right now I won't be doing a fishing video. Fishing needs someone who is all in dedicated to just that, and I'm not that guy. I will pass along what bits and pieces that I can, but if another content creator was "angling" for a niche this would be it.
Just curious about swiftblade, you think it would be possible to build a tanky version of it with occultism? Some other build up to create non burst but instead high sustain damage? Been a while since I've played but looking forward to unchained!
I have consulted the Magic 9 Ball. The Magic 8 ball doesn't come to work until noon. It says "Not in a million years" With that said, when I see 6.0 on the PTS I might be able to give you a better answer.
Depends on what you are doing with the class. Its not as good as it once was, but it is definitely viable for a lot of situations, mainly for front line initiators.
If you walk through the exercise, you'll get a more detailed answer for yourself, but there are 149 combos (combos, Combos, COMBOS) between those three trees. You wil have a lot of CC, Mobility, and Utility. You can run plate and be fine.

serious question im a hardcore morpg player, but ive never played arche age im planing on going really hardcore on it, is it a must to have multiple accounts ? if so, should i get 2 or 3? or how many i know unchained has a restriction to how many accounts per ip, thats why i want to know if its really worth it and how many please so i can prepare my self
Can you play Archeage with only 1 account? Yes. Absolutely. Do you get an advantage from having 2 or 3 accounts? Yes. Absolutely. Can you be competitive with only 1 account? Yes. If you are smart about it.
Never even mentioned my shit. Inquisitor ;) some nice DPS synergy combos. Also you can hotkey weapon changes so you switch to club while dual welding as your casting heal. Gets the max heal then you immediately hotkey back to your off hand DPS weapon.
I mean I could have listed all 220 combos, but that would have taken like 5 hours. Probably would have been more entertaining than today's reciting of Swiftblade on the livestream.
I don't do detailed guides. I have some overview stuff on my website, but I am of the mindset that for you to know it, you have to get all the way deep into it.
I personally believe the changes to Zeal going from 50% Critical Damage to 30% Critical Rate takes some of the bite out of Blade Dancer. But, if you are skilled enough to start challenging builds, then you are skilled enough to have graduated from 101.
@@GamerFun Yes. It is. But I dont know where each player is coming from. So people havent played since 1.0. Or 3.5. Or 4.5. Leaves me having to give broad answers. And ironically I've run I to people playing on live who dont know Zeal changed.

60 to 90 is actually pretty good. Compared to an archer with 10 to 30 ping you are going to be well between x3 to x9 slower. It does take a bit out of your cycle time, however, if you are between 60 and 90 you are doing just fine.
It is very helpful to see what's your process here, thanks a lot for sharing that. I feel like there is still one thing that I miss to create a build on my own: I have no idea how to balance the stats. What I mean is, when do I tell myself "this is too much physic defense compared with magic defense", or "I don't need that much mobility, I need more CC" etc. I guess this comes with experience only and it's the reason why it is so hard for returning/new players to come up with a correct build.
Yes that is true, you will always start second guessing yourself, do I need this or that, should I take this or that. Which is why I went through my thought process on it, sure there are probably like 90 other ways to do it, but if someone else sees this it might help them fill in that missing piece.
Honestly its entirely based on what you are encountering. If you find yourself fighting people and not being able to lock them down, go back to a nui and swap some mobility for cc. If you're way overcommitted on phys defence, but all you are fighting is phys damage... thats a good thing, keep it up! Just be aware that if you encounter a mage, it WILL blow you up, and you will probably have to sacrifice some phys def to trade for magdef. Thats the beauty of archeage - the class system is SO fluid that as long as you are aware and able to identify where you are strong/weak, you can change it up constantly provided you have all your trees leveled.
@@TheApokolypze The Magic Defense thing isn't exactly accurate. You can have almost no magic defense but be stacked with magic damage reduction and be ok. Though, most mages run Shadowplay because they can take 16% off your magic damage reduction. But yes, I agree, mages early on will pop plate tanks
Paradox Gaming Network Man it’s been so long since I played and even longer since I did anything PvP orientationed in there. I mostly stuck to PvE and crafting. Its kinda the only thing I like to do. I’m one of the (Care Bears) people would complain about yet always ask me for supplies.
A very long time since you need to build almost separate gear for each class. It will take months to reach max gear with several of the changes, so figure years if you want to have both sets be competitive.
It is, but not as good as it used to be. Blade dancer is now something I personally believe you grow into as you leave the AA101 level. There are better melee classes to get started with.
I'll write heresy, I hope dont have my house burnt for it: Hybrids classes are funny, pvperfomance are not everything, play in hard mode is amazing, even with the bad consequences. Honorguard and arcane hunter for the fun!
Well yes, what is fun with bad consequences isn't responsible for me to promote. When you get to the point where you can justify a hybrid class, you don't need to listen to my advice.
i really hate the skill point changes i get that we dont need to get the passives anymore but some passive are just shit and i could have spend those points on better skills idk why they did this but its frustrating all the classes i used to play seem so gutted or naked now

I'm gonna get this game, but damn does it sound hard. Excited to just dive in and learn on my own, aside from watching a few of these videos, which I didn't understand anything of, maybe when I'm actually playing will things start to click with me. Overall though I'm glad for a new start for everyone, because joining an MMO later in its life can be really daunting, so much too do, so many things figured out. My only complaint about AAU is there will be a lot of players that will just progress way faster than anyone else because of all the knowledge they will carry over.
You could always play Legacy for free for the next few weeks just to get a feel for it.
And yes, the knowledge the veterans have will be a big deal, but hopefully Archeage 101 will help level the playing field.
Hey i am about to pre order archeage and playing it for first Time. My question iam thinking to play healer is it a good class for pve, pvp or is it bettet to play a dps in high late game
Without healers, in "high late game" if u mean dungeons
aid pve\pvp etc, u cannot play. So if u're thinking to do an healer class, and your question is "It is good?" the answer is Y-E-S. Healers are very good on ArcheAge.

good healers are ALWAYS in demand. DPS is a dime a dozen. if you want to be valuable to a guild or raid then healer is easiest way.
I currently play healer. If they had made the changes differently, I would have stayed a healer. But since they did some things that I am against on principle, I'm not rolling healer again.
healers if done right are high dps casters that heal by DOING dps.... basically you put a 30 sec duration buff on your tank/dps, and every time you use your dps skill on enemies it sends a small "heal burst" to your dps/tank. you can reliablly keep 2 of those buffs on your teammates.

I want literally the most brainless build for mobbing, be it massive AoE or one shotting mobs with little downtime. Am I looking at a mage or some kind of melee build?
Archery is your single greatest PvE mob grinding build.

Do not level as a healer. Take Battlerage, Sorcery, Swiftblade or Archery as you level and then when you hit player 55 swap trees.

Yes.
You won't tank very well.
You won't do very much damage.
But you CAN do it.

I'm trying to remember some of the mechanics in AA. Can you weapon/armor swap mid fight? Can you do a full armor swap in one button press (if it's macro'd on mouse for example). If I remember you can swap weapons fairly fast, I remember swapping to honor nodachi to pop cd before putting weapons back on.
Weapons yes, armor no. No one key to full armor swap. No you can't macro more than one command per button push.
And I thought ESO skill system was difficult...

I know right I'm dropping ESO for AAU playing AA now and the combat works man it feels good now to consistently lag.
Hello could you make a video talking about defense in 6.0? After examining it on the PTS I have come to realize it is COMPLETELY different from how I remember it. Things like redoubt being only 10s now, refreshment not existing, no ollos hammer, etc,etc. I see that it recieved humongous nerfs and it seems like melee classes that depended on the strength of defense: abolisher/blighter

So for example when I hit 55 as Socery, Songcraft, Occultism I swapped out Songcraft and Occulitism so I could bring along 2 other trees with XP.

You can take whatever skills you want. You don't have to take any you don't want to have in your built.

Is it a good dps primary class like Sorcery or is it a more supporty version which deals less damage ? I remember dreambreakers being a hard counter to mage classes. Is that still a thing as I haven't played in 2 years?
all I remember about Archeage that in plate armor u get deleted by mages, but questing is easier(can tank more mobs), with leather armour u can do just fine, and still can perma stun enemys until you kill them in 1v1 even tho u have shitty gear, all you need is being on the same lvl. I starteds playing in patch like 1.2 but didN't comitted to the game cause of unfinished/too hard quest line after reaching lvl 50.
Sort of changed no, but the stun/CC lock down is still a thing.
That and you get deleted by anyone with a quality weapon until you have buffed up on your armor.
@@ParadoxGamingNetwork it's hard to buff your armor while I have to still focus on lvling cause main quest says at lvl 50 (with boosters 54) that I need to kill a thing that's only accure at the end of an event. So as a casual i went back to tera and wow.
I want to do archery as my end game, and in your previous barding video you talk about using archery plus song craft (I believe the example class ended up being ebensong) as a way to hold yourself over until you can get decent gear, but in this video you mention some significant song craft nerfs that make ebensong less of a recommendation. I can’t actually find what the nerfs were, and I’m brand new to the game starting with the release of unchained (and wanting to do archery end game) so my question is: do you still recommend going songcraft to do barding as a holdover until I can get solid gear? Or do the nerfs change that recommendation?
You can still do barding as a hold over. Barding is not gear dependent so you are all good on that front.

Quick question, I'm planning on rolling as a Shadehunter. I ran as a Primeval way back when the game first launched and then Ebonsong recently ( both times I've ran with leather to maximize dps and range.) Since ill be more cc heavy as opposed to being kite reliant, should I roll Leather again or try Plate, hell even cloth? This is where I'm stuck ;_;
Archery main should run leather.

Unfortunately I stopped covering Archeage when Gamigo proved they were all about the money. I was going to making a comeback when Kakao took over, but they too seemed as if they didn't really care about the product. So Archeage101.com was taken down a long time ago.
I tried AA on release and was having a good time. Afraid i never "got" to end game type content and never mastered my toon. Clan fell apart and was on an awful server and gave up. Came back last year to try the game after the supposed wipe. I again enjoyed the game but the only people around were xtreme veterans and there werent many.. Any chance that this would be a real chance to play again? I mean do you expect this to actually bring in enough players to support a fun server or two
This is going to be a real chance to play again, a ton of people are coming back and hopefully with this limited cash shop, it should be healthy. They are already doing 2 servers, I expect to see more before 30 September.

Supposably good against melee and ranged attacks. But lacks mdef.
How to work around that?
I need a main source of damage. Sorcery. I want even more defense (I just like being tanky). Defense. I want to cover my lack of mdef. Witchcraft (purge).
Playing as cabalist I’ll have average damage, high pdef, good cc (mostly single target), some mdef and mobility (because they randomly decided to put a teleport on witchcraft lol).
Is it a good combination?
Cabalist, plus Plate plus M Def Shield and you should be fine.
Great Video. I'm very confused about gearing path, Like go Full hiram vs Go some hiram and some erenor vs Full erenor. Advantages/disavantages. When theoretically 1 surpasses another vs time. I saw some people putting library to the basket and arguing resources vs labor cap on each paths. I'd like to know more and setting the What Not To Do red flags then add more complexity , more brains.
Given the price of Erenor vs the Price of Hiram go Hiram. Erenor vs Hiram is no contest in the pocket book damage potential.
It also matters if you want to do PvE, PvP or both. Hiram gives more survivability than some of the library sets, that's why its a 4 part equation.

Yup, there is literally so much to teach about Archeage, and time never stops rolling forward. I'd need there to be no new information about Archeage for like 3 weeks so I could get caught up.

The one element that is not at the hand of the development team and that, in my humble opinion, is also crucial is the community (see Path of Exile as an example of why community actually a crucial part of a game) and to me that's what you represent. i was thinking about a small scale pvp build (2v2 5v5 3v2 and such), with vita/shadow/witch, since i heard that phys defense is going to be nearly useless i thought going for more cc would be better
That build works for small groups.

Depends on what you are doing with the class. Its not as good as it once was, but it is definitely viable for a lot of situations, mainly for front line initiators.

Opinion on Arcanist class? I used to play it a couple of years ago and I'm not sure if it's still an alright class.
If you walk through the exercise, you'll get a more detailed answer for yourself, but there are 149 combos (combos, Combos, COMBOS) between those three trees. You wil have a lot of CC, Mobility, and Utility. You can run plate and be fine.

serious question im a hardcore morpg player, but ive never played arche age im planing on going really hardcore on it, is it a must to have multiple accounts ? if so, should i get 2 or 3? or how many i know unchained has a restriction to how many accounts per ip, thats why i want to know if its really worth it and how many please so i can prepare my self
Can you play Archeage with only 1 account? Yes. Absolutely.
Do you get an advantage from having 2 or 3 accounts? Yes. Absolutely.
Can you be competitive with only 1 account? Yes. If you are smart about it.

Never even mentioned my shit. Inquisitor ;) some nice DPS synergy combos. Also you can hotkey weapon changes so you switch to club while dual welding as your casting heal. Gets the max heal then you immediately hotkey back to your off hand DPS weapon.
I mean I could have listed all 220 combos, but that would have taken like 5 hours.
Probably would have been more entertaining than today's reciting of Swiftblade on the livestream.

I personally believe the changes to Zeal going from 50% Critical Damage to 30% Critical Rate takes some of the bite out of Blade Dancer.
But, if you are skilled enough to start challenging builds, then you are skilled enough to have graduated from 101.

Hey, I'm big on pvp and I've recently heard about Unchained (I know about archeage before, but p2w aspect got me away from it) and I decided that I wanted to dive into the game as soon as it launchs, and I do feel. 60 to 90 is actually pretty good.
Compared to an archer with 10 to 30 ping you are going to be well between x3 to x9 slower. It does take a bit out of your cycle time, however, if you are between 60 and 90 you are doing just fine.

It is very helpful to see what's your process here, thanks a lot for sharing that. I feel like there is still one thing that I miss to create a build on my own: I have no idea how to balance the stats. What I mean is, when do I tell myself "this is too much physic defense compared with magic defense", or "I don't need that much mobility, I need more CC" etc. I guess this comes with experience only and it's the reason why it is so hard for returning/new players to come up with a correct build.
Yes that is true, you will always start second guessing yourself, do I need this or that, should I take this or that.
Which is why I went through my thought process on it, sure there are probably like 90 other ways to do it, but if someone else sees this it might help them fill in that missing piece.
Honestly its entirely based on what you are encountering. If you find yourself fighting people and not being able to lock them down, go back to a nui and swap some mobility for cc.
If you're way overcommitted on phys defence, but all you are fighting is phys damage... thats a good thing, keep it up! Just be aware that if you encounter a mage, it WILL blow you up, and you will probably have to sacrifice some phys def to trade for magdef.
Thats the beauty of archeage - the class system is SO fluid that as long as you are aware and able to identify where you are strong/weak, you can change it up constantly provided you have all your trees leveled.
@@TheApokolypze The Magic Defense thing isn't exactly accurate. You can have almost no magic defense but be stacked with magic damage reduction and be ok. Though, most mages run Shadowplay because they can take 16% off your magic damage reduction.
But yes, I agree, mages early on will pop plate tanks

How long does it take to gear up multiple classes if you wanted each to be equally competitive?
A very long time since you need to build almost separate gear for each class.
It will take months to reach max gear with several of the changes, so figure years if you want to have both sets be competitive.

It is, but not as good as it used to be.
Blade dancer is now something I personally believe you grow into as you leave the AA101 level. There are better melee classes to get started with.

i really hate the skill point changes i get that we dont need to get the passives anymore but some passive are just shit and i could have spend those points on better skills idk why they did this but its frustrating all the classes i used to play seem so gutted or naked now
Yeah, on some classes the 18 point system works better. Anything battle rage based for example.
On other classes it hurts (Like Skullknight)
