  • Delta Premium Select first appeared onboard an Airbus A350 in October 2017 with the Inaugural Flight of Delta's A350. I was on that flight, but had a seat in Delta One. I've been looking for a chance to try out Delta's Premium Economy Product: Premium Select.
    Recently, Delta needed to reposition an Airbus A350 from Atlanta to Seattle, so I jumped at the chance to try Delta Premium Select for the first time. Because this was a domestic route, Delta Premium Select was treated like Comfort Plus.
    In other words, even though the hard product is the same as Delta's International Premium Economy, "Delta Premium Select," the soft product is Delta's domestic Premium Economy product, "Comfort Plus."
    In this video, I'll share the flight experience and highlight the differences between Delta Premium Select and Comfort+.
    Here's a link to the full takeoff and landing:

    Watching full takeoffs are the most fascinating part of a flight for me. I particularly enjoy watching a takeoff on a cloudy or rainy day and seeing the aircraft punch through the cloud base into the bright blue sky!

      cm 24 take offs and landings are very much similar. I don’t see what’s so interesting about that so I wonder why some of u dudes obsessed with watching a plane takeoff and land. Go near airports and u will see hundreds take off and land every day.

    • @texasabbott
      @texasabbott 5 років тому +2

      @@DarthNero Some of us are pilots, so highlighting field performance is very important to us. These on-board videos can give us some clues on how a new type of aircraft performs on takeoff and during other critical phases of flight, especially climb (steep or shallow, straight or step). Otherwise, you might as well spend time in a seat on a mockup that never gets off the ground.

    • @DarthNero
      @DarthNero 5 років тому

      @@texasabbott Thanks for explaining. Wouldn't you want to know from the view of the cockpit instead of a passenger point of view? So it can help you determine how the pilot is maneuvering/operating the aircraft to achieve a particular type of landing or takeoff.

    I just did 14 hours from ATL to Incheon on the 350. Watched your videos countless times, and forgot everything you talked about. Sat in the bulkhead row, and fought with the screen for a good five minutes and forgot where to plug in my headphones. LOL Overall it was a great flight. I had both seats to myself, and I was able to see the city lights in Japan.

    Unfortunately for every genuine person who requires a service dog there are too many disingenuous people who don't want to pay for transporting their pets and bypass that by claiming they need the help. I had a person claim they needed their dog for anxiety but i saw them down anxiety meds and then alcohol and passed out for the 3.5 hours!
