Watching this video a few months late! We flew United non-stop from Houston to Sydney - 18.25 hrs in Polaris class. Very comfortable and I slept about 6 hrs waking up somewhere south of Hawaii! To answer the question, I would rather go non-stop than have a layover.
I'm so jealous! We were in Perth in March 2020 and had to get home fast given the global situation. We went Perth>Sydney> LA>Boston all in economy!! I like your way better. Great video. (we visited Adelaide and I agree, it's a great place)
Jeb, my son and I just took the same flight last week and the wifi didn’t work on that plane then either. (3/27 outbound and 4/10 for the return) Delta awarded us 25,000 miles as a consolation when I called customer service upon our return. On the return when we entered the club at LAX around 8:00 am there was a live LOUD mariachi band playing as you came up the escalators. A nice touch but for me it was a little unwelcomed coming off of a 13+ hour flight looking for a little peace and quiet. We traveled in the economy comfort section of the plane, not quite as comfortable as your journey but it was doable.
I have recently flown Delta One (DL231- 767-400 - CDG- RDU) and DL 147 ( ATL-SCL on the A350-9) - GREAT experience. I think the seat is amazing- service is decent. I am quite impressed.
Delta is actually quite good in the USA. They got good customer service too whenever you need help. Sometimes if you got multiple flights to a destination out of your city, they even allow you to board a flight earlier than the one you originally booked if they got space.
If you guys payed attention, Jeb is flying 2 different planes because the sign he showed said DL950, but when he got on his phone and it showed the flight to Sydney, it said DL0041
@GreenerGrass THANKS SO MUCH FOR REPLYING TO MY COMMENT!! I SUBBED, ALSO READ THIS ---> for a vid recommendation, can you do 24 hours on Frontier airlines, just around the country? I would really appreciate that and that would be super cool!
i have come to like this channel the best and more than Noah and josh c, as those two have become too full of themselves, but this guy and his wife are fun and down to earth, thanks for the cool videos!
I agree with EV and your production values have continued to improve up to the point where yours is as professional a Vlog as you'll find anywhere on UA-cam. Now, I appreciate seeing how the other half lives but I will NEVER get the opportunity to travel business class much less 1st class (unless I win the lottery). Nope. for me, it will always be "Crap Class" in the back. So, here's my tip for all you normal travelers. Book early and try very hard to get a seat in an emergency exit row. You'll get extra leg room. So, you can take your carry-on bag, put it in front of you on the floor and use it as a leg/foot rest. That's what I've done and it's almost as good as a true reclining seat. Also, bring your own small pillow and fold-up blanket and you'll be comfortable no matter what. Don't forget an eye shade and ear plugs...it's no "door" but it will make you feel like you have privacy. I flew 14 hours from Chicago to Tokyo this way and arrived feeling great. So, Jeb, wasn't it a different time of year in Australia? Didn't you leave the USA in summer but arrive in Australia in winter? How do you pack for that?
What would be really interesting is to see around the world video of economy I know it’s painful idea but it would be cool to see that you two can do it and to highlight which ones are the better ?
Great flight guys. As an Aussie myself always good to see Dennis and I always keep an eye out for him when at Adelaide airport. Glad you enjoyed your flight and hope you enjoyed your time here in Australia. I have never flown Delta however perhaps may one day soon. 👍

So 2 days ago I flew from ATL to LAX in the A350. It was my first time sitting in a regular economy seat on Delta’s A350. It was AWFUL! Those economy seats on the A350 are the most uncomfortable seats out there. Also, I gotta say, when I got to LAX I decided to bypass the new Skyclub and go to the old one. Yes, the new Skyclub is one of the best. I agree. But……because it’s now the one most people choose, the other Skyclub was practically empty! I pretty much had it all to myself! All the food, drinks, empty showers and bathrooms. I thought it was great!
Jeb I noticed I stopped getting your videos on my front page of UA-cam - will have to set alerts for your channel now. Keep up the great video releases.

Gday Jeb - I enjoy watching your videos. Glad you enjoyed Adelaide - my fave Aussie city ❤
Jet lag? Don’t you mean the “Jeb lag?” 😂
I flew Delta one on the A350 from DTW to AMS last year & it was fabulous! Loved watching this video!
I'm so jealous! We were in Perth in March 2020 and had to get home fast given the global situation. We went Perth>Sydney> LA>Boston all in economy!! I like your way better. Great video. (we visited Adelaide and I agree, it's a great place)
I had a Korean BBQ short rib out of Atlanta not that long ago. It was absolutely divine. Highly recommend whatever variation of it they might offer!
Short rib on planes is usually a pretty good option!
I love watching you two interact on these videos. Thanks again for another great video.
Thank you!!
So jealous! Hope you guys had an amazing trip!
Jeb, my son and I just took the same flight last week and the wifi didn’t work on that plane then either. (3/27 outbound and 4/10 for the return)
Delta awarded us 25,000 miles as a consolation when I called customer service upon our return.
Jeb, jet lag is not a myth. I’ve been suffering from it for years. I have to agree with Suzanne on this one.
I have recently flown Delta One (DL231- 767-400 - CDG- RDU) and DL 147 ( ATL-SCL on the A350-9) - GREAT experience. I think the seat is amazing- service is decent. I am quite impressed.
Aww my daughter’s on her way to Australia, I hope she has a good seat. I pray to God she comes back in one piece
thank you most people forget about Adelaide and its surrounding areas with the winerys etc
This was fun! Excited for the rest. Jeb, you are going to turn into a meatball! I truly enjoy your videos.
Nice AVL shirt! 😊 I shared your video with my friend that works with the Delta catering staff. He will be happy to hear you enjoyed the food.
Thanks so much for watching! Flight numbers usually change for each city pair, even when flown by the same airframe!
I love collecting pens from amenity kits!
i have come to like this channel the best and more than Noah and josh c, as those two have become too full of themselves, but this guy and his wife are fun and down to earth, thanks for the cool videos!
We flew Delta One Suites to Rome and Back in March. Very satisfied.
Great video, and great taste in watches. The overseas is an appropriate companion for this journey, literally!
Yea a new video!!! Keep it up with the good work Jeb
Great flight guys. As an Aussie myself always good to see Dennis and I always keep an eye out for him when at Adelaide airport. Glad you enjoyed your flight and hope you enjoyed your time here in Australia. I have never flown Delta however perhaps may one day soon. 👍
Nice. What tail number plane did you ride?
This channel is amazing!!
I Have Flown On Dela Airlines On A330-900NEO And Flagship A350 On Dela One Suite And I love it.Great Trip Report
This channel: Awesome to the max! thanks for another great view on my favorite airline Delta and my compliments on the Music this time: EDM suits your video's well!! :D Greetz from Amsterdam. :D
thanks again for sharing your journey! Really love your guys' channel!
That food looked pretty darn good.
I'm going to Helsinki in the fall and I have to connect to Finnair, so a break is appreciated. However the Dallas Helsinki leg is 11 hours by itself.
Looks like a fun time down under
Always love your videos. These long distance flight are always fascinating. Accomodations looked super nice! And there's an Aussie Jeb Brooks lol
Yes!!! US airlines like Delta have so much more room to grow!!!! No excuses.
Jeb, I really wished you made merch! Been a big fan for a while now
Jeb I noticed I stopped getting your videos on my front page of UA-cam - will have to set alerts for your channel now. Keep up the great video releases.
Thanks for watching!
