Loved this video, really let me know that a $10 Upgrade to Comfort Plus will be worth it as it is much cheaper than usual! Also the pictures of leg room, and snacks were GREAT! You can find online that you might get a few more things, but seeing what you actually get is very helpful! Haven't flown in 6 years and first time alone so also knowing that you get a little bit more peace of mind was very helpful!
Thank you for the great review. I booked Comfort+ flying from Detroit to London, England next month. I have terrible flight anxiety but this helped put me at ease. The early boarding, possibly having a row to myself, early deboarding, seat selection, etc all were worth the update. Thank you!
Hope you have a good experience! What a great place to visit! I would love to know your experience after your flight. Since every flight is different, I’m curious about others’ thoughts on the value of the upgrade. Thanks for the feedback!
Very nice review! I’ve flown Comfort Plus a few times on 10 hour long international flights and found it to be worth the extra cost for all of the reasons that you mentioned. And being a tall person, the extra few inches of leg room make a nice difference.
My wife and I are flying out in November. The biggest thing for me is I’m a bigger guy and that extra leg room will be nice. My wife like the dedicated overhead storage.
I value the most all these upgrades in any Airlines to make travel less stressful: 1. Priority Check-in, 2. CLEAR (Global Entry for international), 3. Airport Lounges, 4. Priority Boarding, 5. First Class if the price is right or Upgraded Cabin seats. Cheers 🍻
Definitely! There are some really great ways to make traveling much more enjoyable and less stressful! If the price is right and you can afford certain amenities, it’s totally worth it & makes the experience so much more enjoyable!
@@benclarke9410 One guaranteed free first class ticket is with my Amex Delta Reserve Credit Card. It’s a companion ticket, so I buy one First Class ticket for me and my son get the companion free first class ticket. Other than that we are all on the same page, First Class ticket if the price is right, if not then definitely the second best cabin seat,… but never, ever, the cheap economy seat (you get what you paid for 😂). On a side note, my son and I are heading to LAX from DCA first class roundtrip tickets in Alaska Airlines on March 2023. Cheers 🍻
@@Leoprieto74 ya just gotta do it. Ya gotta fly first. I freaking flew Basic Economy my whole life and I got a First class seat for the first time this summer. Game changer. Can’t go back.
I just purchased a Comfort plus seat for my daughter, who will be visiting for the holidays. It includes her checked bags as well as her own designated overhead compartment. Since she's a 16y/o, I didn't want her to have to deal with the boarding crowd. Good video! Thank you! 👍🏾
Awe, that’s great! Definitely a great upgrade for sending your teenage daughter. The peace of mind of knowing she gets on the plane quickly and can get situated and have her bag right there is definitely a stress reliever. I hope she has a great experience!

Thanks so much for the feedback! I’m glad this was helpful. (Travel research can sometimes be stressful when you’re trying figure out where to spend your money & what’s worth it.) Thanks so much for watching! Hope you have a great trip!
As someone who used to fly delta every week for work, I never found comfort plus worth it. The leg room is about the same as well as the seat size. The cushions are slightly different but not worth an upgrade. For me, I spend the money on an exit row and get way more leg room (extreme leg room)!. Just make sure you a exit row seat that reclines vs the the non-reclining exit row. If you want to be closer to the front of the plane and board / exit earlier, then it may be worth it, but I take the leg room if I'm flying coach and comfort plus is still coach! When I get upgrades, I just opt for first class only or I"m keeping my exit row with the extra leg room.
@@PaulsToolReview Thank you so much for the feedback! I think these type of upgrades are totally a preference thing, and there are varying opinions on the value depending on the person. i just upgraded to Delta Comfort Plus because im 6'2 and my flight is over 4 hours and its at night so i definitely want to get some comfort , extra leg room and adult drinks yes!!!
I flew comfort plus recently. I picked it bc the flight was almost fully booked. I sat in the middle and it wasn’t bad compared to main cabin. I didn’t mind sitting in the middle in comfort plus. Overall love flying delta.
Comfort plus is totally worth it! I struggle to justify the cost of first class, but I’ll pay a little extra for comfort plus on longer legs. Great video!
@@more4ladysport Awe, yay! 🙌 I’m glad it was helpful! Sometimes, it’s so challenging to find what you’re looking for with all the information online. It can be overwhelming. I’m always trying to create videos that I myself am trying to find online when I’m planning trips. Thanks for watching!🫶🙂
I LOVE Delta Comfort+!!!!! The included adult drinks is the best perk for me :). I am 5'8' and the extra space is great. I also love the early boarding, I do not like large crowds of people and I hate standing/sitting around waiting!
Thanks. Going on an international flight in three months and purchased it for the extra legroom. I am an average-sized guy but I have always been uncomfortable in regular Economy on long-hauls and it will hopefully make up for having to keep a mask on the entire flight which I know is no longer mandatory but I'm afraid not to. This video was very helpful.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m glad this is helpful. I feel like it’s definitely worth it for international flights. Hope you have a great trip!
Haha! Pretty much! Seats are the same. A few added perks like early boarding, closer to front of plane, not having to worry about whether you will have a space for your carry-on near you and a “free” drink of your choice. But yeah, it’s considered economy-not a separate section like business class, first class etc.
In my experience, comfort plus seats are exactly like economy seats except that they are a little further apart to give a little more legroom. The seats aren’t any different and probably recline just as far as economy seats.
I’m flying alone next week and haven’t flown in about 8 years. I’m an anxious flyer. I have upgraded to comfort plus and am hoping it eases my worries somewhat. Thank you for the video!
@@panthermom Oh, I know the whole process can create some anxiety. I think with being able to board early and getting a little extra attention during the flight can make it a little less stressful. I hope you have a great flight! Thanks for watching!🫶
Thank you for this!! This was very helpful! When I fly I do have a little anxiety so thank you for including that part for people that are more nervous.
I’m so glad this was helpful. ❤️ Yes, I feel like being able to get settled and situated before most people board the plane & knowing that you have a spot for your carry-on really eases some of the anxiety of the trip. I hope you have an awesome trip!🎉 You got this!🙌
I really thank you for the video. But there's one thing I wanna ask you. Do you know if I could charge my Samsung Galaxy phone on Delta? If I have a plus would I be able to install the Charger Is there a Outlet between the seats? I appreciate if you let me know thank you
That’s a great question. I think it depends on the plane. I’m pretty sure most international flights would have this feature but I’m not sure about domestic flights. I would recommend looking up the plane you are taking to see the individual features of that particular plane. You could always bring an external charger, which I always recommend for travel, just in case you have a situation where you need to charge your phone but have no outlet. Thanks for watching!
I enjoy the perks of comfort class. I truly enjoy the delta club lounge experience. The club comforts, free food and drinks prior to broading are excellent and relaxing as opposed to be in the open terminal.
I upgraded just so I can board early and debark early…..This way I can get through immigration faster….., I too am going to Mexico in June…. The peace of mind of the over head compartment is an added plus….to comfort…….Another plus to me is the alcohol……..well worth the price…. Great video….Thank you
Yes, totally agree. It’s worth it for those nice little extras and less stress boarding and deplaning. Thanks so much for watching! Hope you have a great trip in June!
My wife and I will be on Delta going from TN to California later this year using Delta Comfort+. I do have a question, we have a very early flight on a Thursday and i was wondering, if the 1st class seats are empty, will Delta let people sitting in Comfort+ sit in those 1st class seats or will Delta let them remain empty? Thank you and that was a great video!
Thanks so much for watching! I’ll be honest, this is not something I know a definite answer on. If i had to guess, I would assume if you wanted to upgrade that you would be charged for an upgrade to first even if the seats were empty. Comfort+ is still considered the main cabin, so I think that would be a big leap to first class. But I can’t give a definite answer here. Maybe someone else can weigh in on this.
Sorry your questions weren't answered. The seats in Comfort+ are the same seats as the main cabin since they are part of the main cabin. The difference in space is the leg room.
This was so helpful. We are flying direct into Las Vegas and the upgrade to Comfort is almost $300 a piece. It's a four hour flight and it seems like it's not worth it in our situation.
Yeah, I don’t think the cost is worth it for a direct flight within the U.S. That’s a good call. 👍 When there are layovers and especially international flights, I think it’s more worth the upgrade. Thanks for watching!
@@madelineperello1046 It could be worth it. It totally depends on your budget and how you like to travel. Do you have a layover before the 10+ hour flight, or is it a straight shot? If you have layovers, it’s definitely worth it for getting the perks on 4 flights. Regardless, it might still be worth it for sitting closer to the front of the plane, early boarding, getting off the plane a bit sooner, having a reserved spot for your carry-on luggage, a little more space (though minimal) & a free beverage. I also feel like the service might be just a step above for the comfort plus compared to regular seating, so if that’s important to you, it’s a nice perk. (Not sure if this is helpful at all. I think sometimes whether things are “worth it” or not is so subjective.)
@@madelineperello1046 For round trip 21 hours total, it could be worth it. Divided by hour, that’s $13 per hour of your flight. I could go either way on that, but for extra room, closer to front of plane, free drink round trip, less stress boarding, I would lean towards worth it. 🙂 It’s especially worth it if the flight isn’t fully booked, & that section happened to be less crowded with empty seats. No guarantee there, but more likely in the comfort+ section.
Woah, that’s crazy. Thanks for sharing! Definitely have to compare prices and weigh benefits. When I got Comfort+ it was not much more than regular tickets. It’s crazy how ticket prices change & vary.
Hey there! The review was very helpful. David and I are getting ready to travel to Paris finally. This is our 2020 river cruise. Thanks for sharing all the information.
I’m so glad I came across your video because your experience it’s similar to what’s going to be mine. I’m going to Mexico through delta comfort+ and I have four flights as well. Upgrading was cheap for me too. My whole flight is around $300 lol now it’s up to $600. Thanks for this video!
Thanks so it shows the wifi icon is it FREE or you have to purchase it. Just watched another video international flight guy said the was only offered 1 mixed drink? I thought mixed drinks are FREE with delta comfort +?
I paid for the upgrade to comfort + for $9.64 from my other seat and from slc to GTF and it my first time ever for paying for a upgrade and even I did it from GTF to MSP and I’m thinking about doing it again sometime soon since I’m a tall guy
Thanks for this, it made me feel better about upgrading. I'm doing my first Comfort Plus experience soon on a long flight. Looking forward to the extra legroom, even though I don't have long legs - I prefer to sit with my legs crossed most of the time, and those extra 3 inches are going to be huge for me. I've done first class one time, when I was briefly a higher status with Delta and got it as an upgrade on a low-passenger flight, and while I loved the extra snacks and more frequent service, I don't like the taste of alcohol, and free alcohol seems to be a lot of the value other than extra space - a wasted benefit for me. I would have felt a bit cheated at regular prices for what was actually a pretty short trip at the time. Comfort plus seems like a much better compromise for the money involved.
Oh awesome! Thank you so much for watching & for the feedback! I feel like even a few inches can make a difference when you’re confined in a small little space for a flight. 😂👍 As you said, some benefits are more important to some than others, for sure. I hope you have a great trip!
Thanks - I love Delta One but unless I'm going overnight/long-haul and really need to sleep, I'm trying to save money. I'm going to try Comfort+ on my next cross-country trip and I think it will do the trick (at half the price). Thanks for the review.
Gosh, I know. It’s hard to decide which upgrades and perks to pay the extra for and when to save money. Glad this was helpful. Hope you have a great trip!
I flew 2 years ago comfort plus. This was during the height of the pandemic and I originally had a coach ticket but my flight was changed. When I called delta about the change and rescheduling, they gave me a comfort plus seat. The experience was good, especially the flight back from Atlanta to Orange County, we came in a Boeing 747 so very comfortable. The seats were comfortable and I loved the tv up front. Next flight in April I plan on flying first class, I'm curious about using the first class lounge so maybe I'll do a video on that too! Thank you for this video;)
Here’s my question: If I buy a comfort + seat am I guaranteed that same particular seat. In the app if I click on a window seat, am I guaranteed that seat?
Great question! Yes, when you select your seat when booking, you get that exact seat on that particular flight. I believe it has you select for each flight, so the available seats might be different on each individual flight. I hope that answers your question.
Oh awesome! Glad it was helpful for you as you plan your trip. And yes, definitely. I’m sure your husband will appreciate extra space even just the few inches that it is. 😉❤️
The flight I was on for this video had 3 seats on each side of the aisle, but I’m sure it varies by plane. So there is still a chance you can get a middle seat and be surrounded by people. Ha!
With the overhead bin storage. Does the airline allow people not in comfort+ to place their bags in there; if the main cabins overheads are full? Or is the comfort+ bins strictly for comfort plus passengers no matter what?
It says “Comfort + passengers only”, but I bet if the other bins were completely full they’d use those. I’m not totally sure. They may just have people check those bags at the gate if they ran out of space. I honestly don’t have a great answer for you on that one. All I know is that those bins are labeled for Comfort + guests only.
The seats are exactly the same as all other seats in the main cabin. It’s essentially the main cabin with a bit more leg room. The only “divider” is the armrest like everyone else has.
Do the seats recline further back than in the main cabin? I even called delta to ask this and they could not answer. The seats recline maybe two inches on our main cabin seated flight to Japan a couple days ago and it was horribly uncomfortable. We have a flight back home to the states in two weeks and i just want a seat that recline further. So if anyone can answer this please do. I would appreciate it very much!
I’m sorry for your trouble. Ugh. To the best of my knowledge, since Comfort+ seats are still in the main cabin, I believe they are exactly the same and recline the same amount as the other seats. But maybe someone else has had a different experience and can share. That’s crazy that Delta couldn’t tell you a straight answer on that though. It’s frustrating to not be able to get a sure answer on that. Perhaps it varies by plane, but as far as I know they are the same seats.
I think it totally depends on the type of plane you are taking. I would assume for the longer flights, they would use the bigger planes with personal T.V.s.
I have comfort plus for my trip to South Africa but I’m thinking about upgrading to premium select, do you have any info on this seat? Great video thanks!
Hello Danielle, Thank for video. If you are shooting a youtube content video today, you should show the subject you are talking about. It's nice to see you too, but just listening to your comment without any footage of the plane made me watch other videos. I just want you to know.
Was planning on upgrading for my flight from SLC to AMS and back and this convinced me even more to do so! I think this will ease my mind about flying alone for the first time!
I think the answer to that totally depends on the length of the flight, so there’s not a hard and fast rule. I only went to Mexico on that flight that I was mentioning in this video, so we only got snacks not a meal.
@@myash32 yes, I have, but not in Delta Comfort plus. On those flights, there’s definitely at least one meal no matter what and often 2, in my experience.
Danielle, this was very helpful. i am planning a flight and trying to get "real" insights to the different airlines/seat packages etc. i have a question... its now a year later (Feb 2023), if you were to take the same flight, would you spend an extra $100 (round trip) and go first class?
If there was only a $100 difference, I probably would. I was totally fine in Comfort+, but for 4 flights (with connecting flights) making it $25 per flight extra, it’d be worth it.
Ha! I enjoy meeting people and can really talk to anyone. I'd just pick an empty row over being crunched up next to strangers for hours at a time while traveling if I have the choice. :)
Thanks so much! There is no wall separating Comfort+ from the main cabin, since it is considered part of the main cabin and not a separate section like First Class.
I would think the upgrade would be nice when flying with a baby. You’ll have a little bit more space (not a huge amount extra, but every little bit counts), & if the plane isn’t full, you could end up with an empty seat next to you. That’s obviously not a guarantee, but it’s nice when it happens. Also, you will get to board early so you can get situated and you will have overhead space designated for you. It’s also great to be able to get off faster. There’s nothing like being in the back of the plane when you have a baby. Those are my thoughts, but if it were me, I’d upgrade for those benefits when flying with a baby.
Question: my first leg of flight is Orlando to JFK, then on to Rome. If I were to "upgrade" to comfort (from coach) do I have to pay the upgrade fee for each leg? When I look on my app at the moment, it shows $69 upgrade, but it appears to only be for the first leg...?
I’m honestly not sure how the upgrade system works. When I purchased comfort plus, I did it at the time of purchasing the ticket, but it included every leg of my flight. You might want to contact Delta to confirm that it will be for every individual flight. It might be, but I would want to confirm that with them before upgrading.
@@DanielleWarren Yeah. There are websites around that do show the window placements, I found one called AeroLOPA, which seems pretty accurate and has most airlines, aircraft types, and variations of each aircraft type. I do agree that Delta should be letting people know about the lack of windows in some seats advertised as window seats. Other airlines offer those seats for a discount, but I don’t think that’s the case with Delta. Other than that, their service is great in my opinion.
@@djijspeakerguy4628 awesome! Thanks for that info. Yeah, it should totally be marked and/or discounted on the Delta site. At least noted would be helpful. 😉 thanks again!
Great Review! I am currently debating between the main cabin and Comfort+ for my upcoming trip. Just wondering if Comfort+ also includes priority check-in (I believe it's called SkyPriority at the Delta counter), and priority baggage handling if you also checked bags? Thanks!
That introvert in me gotta aim for the comfort plus as well in december. Hopefully, I'll get an entire row to myself or no one in that freaking middle seat. Comfort plus by the window seat is King.
I’m honestly not sure of the exact dimensions of the overhead bin. It probably depends on how much you stuff the duffle. I’d check the dimensions on the Delta site and see what you think. My rolling duffle just fit when I packed it full.
I’ve been on comfort plus and it’s nice except when the seats are full. When comfort plus is full, then being in economy is not bad, especially since you save that money.
I booked a Comfort + seat this for my flight to Portugal in March, never flown with Delta before but I had an unused credit with them that I was suppose to use for NYC back in 2020 before you know what happened 😬 I’ve flown internationally before via American/Iberia I was in main cabin that experience was a lot better than what I expected on the Airbus A330 twas a phenomenal plane! This time around I’ll be on a Boeing 767-300 I was wanting the 787 but it’s all good I’ll take whatever I can get if it means leaving the United States 😂
Great for folks wanting to get at the front of the pack without the dirty looks. However the flight attendants will not police overhead bins. I was first to board after first and business class only to find someone in the stroller class loaded my overhead bin with his baby stuff and other gear. I ask him to remove it from my overhead then he complained to a stewardess telling her I restricted him, after the dirty look from the stewardess she shoved his stuff in with mine. It was okay my carry on was overhead, it didn't matter to me after that, I drank it off.
I think they recline the same as the other chairs. Comfort+ is part of the main cabin, so the chairs are the same-just closer to the front with a little more legroom.
When I flew, I didn’t check a bag. I traveled with carry-on & personal item only, which was free. There are still baggage fees unless you are flying first class or have their credit card. If you have the Delta credit card, you can check 1 bag for free.
Also, you may check on this, but a lot of times with international flights you can also check a bag for free. Not for domestic flights though, to my knowledge.
Enjoy comfort Plus and the free drinks that come with that class. Nobody can read! Designated overhead bins not controlled by flight crew and see people walking to the back throw their bags in them and nobody says anything. The same with first class bathrooms. Very few flight crew have controlled access to these.
Yeah, that’s kind of a bummer. Thanks for pointing that out. The great thing is that if you arrive on time to board early, at least you will have first dibs to those overhead spaces. I guess if exclusive access to some of those perks isn’t enforced, it may not feel like as much of a perk.
I really think i should do this for me and my hubby and ten year old son’s very first plane ride to Orlando from Minneapolis on jan 1st!! Im very nervous but kind of excited IDK!!! I hope there isnt a lot of turbulence
It definitely would make your first flight less stressful and ease some nerves, I think. And it can be much more affordable than first class. Hope you have a great trip!❤️
That benefit is not stated as being a part of the “package.” I think I may have seen some comfort plus passengers using the bathrooms in the front of the plane, but I used the ones in the back of the plane.
Flew premium economy when they rolled it out from NY to Vegas and it was garbage. Same size seat with four inches of extra leg room, some crappy snacks and nothing else I didn't already get from my delta credit card. I got them at an introductory rate and even that wasnt worth it. So I either spend for business or just deal with economy.
For sure, there are definitely so many factors to consider when deciding if certain upgrades are worth it. It’s so subjective. Thanks for the feedback!
@@brittanywestbay6003 That's a weird extremely vague question..lol If you're asking are seatbelts available, then yes! All Seats on any airline will have seatbelts..lol
Keep in mind that if you are a bigger person who has a desire or need for more room….chances are you will be seated next to someone who also does! And that can create a space dilemma, even in Comfort+ that you paid extra money for!
Honestly, it would depend on what’s most important to you and if the price difference is worth it to you. Your seat would be closer to the front of the plane, so you get off quicker. You get extra snacks. If you like alcoholic beverages, that definitely makes the price more worth it. Also, if you have a layover or round trip ticket, then you get that experience on multiple flights. I know that’s really not an answer, but I truly believe that it’s all about people’s preferences and what is valuable to each individual. For me personally, If it’s not that much more to fly comfort plus, I will choose it every time.
I’m glad it was helpful and informative! I honestly made this video in response to having trouble finding information when I was looking into this myself. I’m not an expert or anything, but I love sharing my own experiences in hopes that it might help other people. Thanks for your feedback!
I always wait till the end to board even when I fly first class. I feel trapped just suiting in my seat for 30 minutes of boarding watching people pass lol
I can understand the reasoning for that. You think, “why get on earlier than you HAVE to?” Ha! There’s something nice, though, about getting on and getting settled before it gets crazy in there. I’m normally a late boarder, but I actually enjoyed getting on early. (I was in a window seat, however. I think I would change my tune if I was on the aisle.) 😉
That’s a great strategy and probably makes a big difference when needed and, on the other hand, saves money when it’s not as important. I feel like it totally depends on your travel needs on a given trip. Thanks for the feedback!
@@DanielleWarren yes. If you are 33 or 16 or 42 or whatever it can get uncomfortable scrunched up for 8+ hours in basic coach. With someone in their 80s I think it could be potentially dangerous instead of just being uncomfortable, this I fly comfort+ with him.
The cost for comfort + was for the entire trip, which included all 4 flights. Obviously, prices will vary depending on where you’re going, what time of year, and who knows what other factors 🤷♀️ (yikes… it’s hard to figure out the airline price situation. Ha!) but when you book the flight it will be for whatever flights are included in your round-trip fare. Hope that helps.

Yay for good flying experiences! There are so many variables. It’s always nice to have a great experience.
Thank you for this AMAZING review! Your mask is super cute and i love your earrings!
Awe, thank you so much! I got the earrings in Mexico. Thanks so much for watching & for the feedback!😊
Comfort plus is totally worth it! I struggle to justify the cost of first class, but I’ll pay a little extra for comfort plus on longer legs. Great video!
Totally agree! Thanks for watching!
Finally came across a review similar to my flight. Thank you for this! I now know what I'm getting outside of a comfy seat 😂🎉❤
Thanks for explaining it well, instead of a travel vlog. This is helpful ❤
So glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback!
I just upgraded from main economy to comfort plus for $20 coming from ANC to SEA. 🙌🙌❤️
Wow! That’s awesome! What a deal.
Wow! How did you do that?
Video was very helpful. I was thinking of purchasing comfort plus next year and you convince me even more.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I’m glad you found this helpful in your travel planning.
I LOVE Delta Comfort+!!!!! The included adult drinks is the best perk for me :). I am 5'8' and the extra space is great. I also love the early boarding, I do not like large crowds of people and I hate standing/sitting around waiting!
Yes, the adult drink definitely adds a value!😉
It seems to be just like regular economy but with enough leg room for an adult human.
Haha! Pretty much! Seats are the same. A few added perks like early boarding, closer to front of plane, not having to worry about whether you will have a space for your carry-on near you and a “free” drink of your choice. But yeah, it’s considered economy-not a separate section like business class, first class etc.
Pretty much, but those extra few inches and extras do matter. On really long trips - 12 to 15 hours - I spring for Delta One.
I'm 6'3 so the extra legroom is worth the extra, plus early boarding and some gin and tonics just add to the added value.
In comfort plus, do the seats recline further? We are traveling to Amsterdam this summer from Boston
@@DanielleWarren thank you!
DCA to ATL to MLB in Comfort Plus in December 2021. Nice experience. Good service.
There is basic economy which locks you in the price but there's also economy which you can upgrade.
@@lovelylady526 yes, that’s correct. Thanks so much for the feedback and clarifying that!
Thank you for this!! This was very helpful! When I fly I do have a little anxiety so thank you for including that part for people that are more nervous.
My flight in September will be 4-5 hours!
I love your video! Lol.
I’m flying confort +
To El Salvador with a stop in Atlanta. Can’t wait, thanks 🙏
Awe yay! I hope you have a great trip. Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback!
@@DanielleWarren TY❤️❤️❤️❤️
We just booked tickets CVG - LGA - BDL (and reverse for round-trip) using Delta on CRJ900. The seating section we chose was Comfort+ :)
Hope you have a great experience!❤️
I dont think the 2 most important questions were answered or maybe i missed it ? Do the seats recline more flat than main cabin, are they wider?
Sorry your questions weren't answered. The seats in Comfort+ are the same seats as the main cabin since they are part of the main cabin. The difference in space is the leg room.
This is very helpful. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback. 🙂
@DanielleWarren, would you justify upgrading at $275 for a 10+ hr international flight?
@@DanielleWarren it's a straight shot 10.5 hrs from Milan to Atlanta. I'm wondering if a little more room will make the ride feel shorter. 😊
I bought 1st class tickets back in February for a flight in August. The Comfort + tickets are now more than my 1st class tickets.
Yay!!! What a great trip! Oh my goodness, I hope you all have an amazing time! ❤️ Hope this was helpful.
I’m so glad I came across your video because your experience it’s similar to what’s going to be mine. I’m going to Mexico through delta comfort+ and I have four flights as well. Upgrading was cheap for me too. My whole flight is around $300 lol now it’s up to $600. Thanks for this video!
Oh awesome! I’m so glad it was helpful! Yes, sounds like a very similar situation. Hope you have a great experience!
Thanks so it shows the wifi icon is it FREE or you have to purchase it. Just watched another video international flight guy said the was only offered 1 mixed drink? I thought mixed drinks are FREE with delta comfort +?
With comfort plus, there is one complimentary drink per flight, not unlimited drinks. Hope that helps.
I paid for the upgrade to comfort + for $9.64 from my other seat and from slc to GTF and it my first time ever for paying for a upgrade and even I did it from GTF to MSP and I’m thinking about doing it again sometime soon since I’m a tall guy
What a deal!!!! Totally worth that!
How fun! That would be a great video!❤️
Delta does not offer use of the lounge with a domestic first class ticket.
I just booked a Delta Comfort plus to Barcelona Spain from NYC 7.5 hour flight. At 6'1" Im hoping I didnt cheap out.
That’s a long flight. Probably worth it.😉 Hope you have a great trip! Thanks for watching!
I hope to try a flight on Comfort Plus from London to USA
Is the seat bigger.I am short 5 ft so what she is saying it worth the money if one is taller
The seats are the same size, but there are a few extra inches between your seat and seat in front of you. So it’s better for people with longer legs.
Thank you! Does the armrest lift up on Comfort+?
Yes, the armrests lift up.
Great review. Going to Punta Cana this summer and my husband wants to go Comfort plus. He's 6'7 so he can use the extra leg room.
Oh awesome! Glad it was helpful for you as you plan your trip. And yes, definitely. I’m sure your husband will appreciate extra space even just the few inches that it is. 😉❤️
geesh how many seats are in a row in comfort plus seats two or three because i don't want extra people sitting next to me ?
Do they have a divider you can lift?
Do they have TVs of long flights?
I think it totally depends on the type of plane you are taking. I would assume for the longer flights, they would use the bigger planes with personal T.V.s.
I have comfort plus for my trip to South Africa but I’m thinking about upgrading to premium select, do you have any info on this seat? Great video thanks!
I don’t have info on that, but I’d love to hear about it! You’ll have to let me know how your experience is if you upgrade.
@@DanielleWarren Sure will 🙂
The hubs and I are on comfort plus to SA soon too.
Premium select is basically the same as the first class seats on their domestic routes
It definitely makes things feel less stressful when flying alone. I felt taken care of and not rushed. I hope you have an awesome trip!
Sounds like it's another name for Premium Economy? Most airlines use Premium Economy but some have variations on a theme.
Yep! Basically a new name that sounds more “luxurious.” 🤣😉
I go to Guatemala from LAX. 4 hour flight. It's worth it for me
Thanks so much for the feedback! So great to hear from others’ experiences.
Makes me inclined to upgrade next time I fly! Thank you.
It was definitely worth it for my 4 flights considering 2 of the 4 flights was several hours long. I had a great experience.
Hey.
How many meals do you get on an international flight. Is it 1 or two?
I think the answer to that totally depends on the length of the flight, so there’s not a hard and fast rule. I only went to Mexico on that flight that I was mentioning in this video, so we only got snacks not a meal.
@@DanielleWarren o ok cool cool.
Have u ever travel overseas to europe?
@@myash32 yes, I have, but not in Delta Comfort plus. On those flights, there’s definitely at least one meal no matter what and often 2, in my experience.

Thanks Danielle for responding 🙂
Danielle, this was very helpful. i am planning a flight and trying to get "real" insights to the different airlines/seat packages etc.
i have a question... its now a year later (Feb 2023), if you were to take the same flight, would you spend an extra $100 (round trip) and go first class?
If there was only a $100 difference, I probably would. I was totally fine in Comfort+, but for 4 flights (with connecting flights) making it $25 per flight extra, it’d be worth it.
@@DanielleWarren Thank You for responding. Good point on the 4 flights.
do u think people are going to bite u if they sit next to u?
Ha! I enjoy meeting people and can really talk to anyone. I'd just pick an empty row over being crunched up next to strangers for hours at a time while traveling if I have the choice. :)
Do you remember the very back seats in Comfort+ having a wall/portion? Great video!
Thanks so much! There is no wall separating Comfort+ from the main cabin, since it is considered part of the main cabin and not a separate section like First Class.
@@DanielleWarren Thank you!
Is better that class fly with a baby ?
Yes I am flying from PHX to Minneapolis before connecting to Paris. Yes you have to pay for each leg separately :)
Great to know! Thank you!
If on a 737-800 on comfort+ looking for a window seat, avoid seat 13A, 14A, and 14F. These seats do not actually have a window it is just a wall.
Good to know! It would be nice if they marked that in the diagram when choosing a seat, right?😏
@@DanielleWarren Yeah.
I would consider honestly to be 2nd class.. There's 1st, 2nd and 3rd(economy)
Great Review! I am currently debating between the main cabin and Comfort+ for my upcoming trip. Just wondering if Comfort+ also includes priority check-in (I believe it's called SkyPriority at the Delta counter), and priority baggage handling if you also checked bags? Thanks!
Comfort+ includes priority boarding, but to my knowledge, it does not include priority check-in. Thanks for watching!
That introvert in me gotta aim for the comfort plus as well in december. Hopefully, I'll get an entire row to myself or no one in that freaking middle seat. Comfort plus by the window seat is King.
I’m totally with you there! Here’s hoping you get some space on your flight.😉🤞
So I’m bringing a large duffle bag as my carry on in the comfort plus section. Will the overhead bin fit that size duffel bag you think ??
I’m honestly not sure of the exact dimensions of the overhead bin. It probably depends on how much you stuff the duffle. I’d check the dimensions on the Delta site and see what you think. My rolling duffle just fit when I packed it full.
Enjoying this! Thanks!
Oh awesome! Thanks for the feedback!
I’ve been on comfort plus and it’s nice except when the seats are full. When comfort plus is full, then being in economy is not bad, especially since you save that money.
Yes, a full flight just feels like a full flight. 😑
Watching your review right now.
My mom wants to fly comfort+ from USA to Capetown SA.
I’m showing her how it will look!
Thanks so much for watching!
Since getting my disabled veteran Id boarding early allows me to make sure I get my baggage in the overhead even if it's in the first class.
I booked a Comfort + seat this for my flight to Portugal in March, never flown with Delta before but I had an unused credit with them that I was suppose to use for NYC back in 2020 before you know what happened 😬
I’ve flown internationally before via American/Iberia I was in main cabin that experience was a lot better than what I expected on the Airbus A330 twas a phenomenal plane!
Ugh, that’s annoying when perks you pay for aren’t enforced. It’s clearly marked for Comfort plus only. Not cool.
Are the comfort plus seats recline and are they more comfortable than the main cabin seats ? Does anyone know?
I think they recline the same as the other chairs. Comfort+ is part of the main cabin, so the chairs are the same-just closer to the front with a little more legroom.
Did you still have to pay for your luggage?
When I flew, I didn’t check a bag. I traveled with carry-on & personal item only, which was free. There are still baggage fees unless you are flying first class or have their credit card. If you have the Delta credit card, you can check 1 bag for free.
Also, you may check on this, but a lot of times with international flights you can also check a bag for free. Not for domestic flights though, to my knowledge.
Do we get priority check in with comfort+
@@DanielleWarren thank you!! I did splurge and got us comfort + for the first flight.
Any benefits to bathroom access?
That benefit is not stated as being a part of the “package.” I think I may have seen some comfort plus passengers using the bathrooms in the front of the plane, but I used the ones in the back of the plane.
Thank you so much for sharing this!
You are so welcome! I hope it was helpful for you. :). Thanks for watching!
Beautiful gringa I love you 🥺❤️
Are the seat adjustable
The seats did recline a bit on my flight. I would assume that is the case with most, if not all of the planes offering Comfort Plus.
@@DanielleWarren what about the seat belts
@@brittanywestbay6003 That's a weird extremely vague question..lol If you're asking are seatbelts available, then yes! All Seats on any airline will have seatbelts..lol
@@OneYulaw lol no I know every airline has seat beats I was talking about the extenders.
Keep in mind that if you are a bigger person who has a desire or need for more room….chances are you will be seated next to someone who also does! And that can create a space dilemma, even in Comfort+ that you paid extra money for!
@@CruceEntertainment haha! Good point. 🥴😆 I guess it’s all a chance thing and you cross your fingers. 🤷♀️

I only packed in a carry-on. I want to say the cost is $30 for checked baggage currently.
Yes it is
Thanks for sharing 👍🏿
Thanks so much for watching! 😊
Worth it on a 3 hour am flight?
Honestly, it would depend on what’s most important to you and if the price difference is worth it to you. Your seat would be closer to the front of the plane, so you get off quicker. You get extra snacks. If you like alcoholic beverages, that definitely makes the price more worth it. Also, if you have a layover or round trip ticket, then you get that experience on multiple flights.
I know that’s really not an answer, but I truly believe that it’s all about people’s preferences and what is valuable to each individual. For me personally, If it’s not that much more to fly comfort plus, I will choose it every time.
I wish you all a pleasant flight
This is a great overview! I had to downvote a couple crappy videos before coming across your detailed comfort+ review! Thanks!

Same here
when i fly with my elderly father, i fly C+ when solo i fly economy.
@@badgerattoadhall great point!
Did you have to pay per leg or was the 100 hundred dollars cover all of it.
Comfort + is just premium economy done the right way, unlike American, British Airways, and Jet Blue etc. Food is always edible.
