hey in my 3ds max 2024 there is no retopology modifier. can you help ?

Hello, retopology is not included in the final version of 3ds max. You need to download it separately and install it as a plugin. Unfortunately I can't share the plugin link.

Hi, i start learning 3ds max. But so many people use blender now. What do you think about that ? Some 3ds max user switch to blender too.

3ds max has much more tools for modeling. You will have more control for what you need

hi, you can use both software. I see change as a complement. Sometimes people look for facilities in building certain models. You can do this in both Max and Blender. As blender is free and there is a hype for it because of the numerous addons, many people are migrating. But I believe that as modeling software both do the same job just in different ways.

Hey! I've been a long-time user of Blender, but I'm considering switching to 3ds Max for Corona Renderer. However, I'm a bit concerned if this would be the worst mistake of my life. I've heard rumors that Max is dying. Perhaps Maya could be a better option? Although I've heard Maya has fewer modeling functionalities and doesn't have Corona Renderer at all. So, I'm a bit lost. If you could help me and provide guidance, I would appreciate it. Just to let you know, I mainly want to create advertisements, architectural visualizations, tabletop animations using Houdini.

hey bro i work with max for product modeling. Animations I would recommend maya. Blender has a little bit of everything. But you can use both. choose the max to render your projects. If you already have experience modeling in blender, continue. Don't abandon one to focus on the other. It will slow you down. Combine learning with other software, not leaving what you already use aside. That way you protect yourself from future frustrations if the change doesn't have the desired effect.

Don't do it. Blender can do everything that max can do and better. The render engine at the end of the day doesn't matter. They are all good enough to achieve any look you need. Plus blenders geometry nodes gives it an edge over other software ( except) Houdini but it's quickly catching up.

Well yeah you could say it's not for free It's still the industry standard for video games & films I don't see how it's dying!?

You dont need the headaches with 3ds Max. Stick to Blender, it's the future. There is VRay for Blender also if you want to create arch visualizations. Vray is basically the same as Corona, no significant difference. What you can do with Corona you can do with VRay.

Blender is not accurate and precise it doesn't work with real world scale values like 3ds Max@@rachkaification
