Thanks for watching! 🚗💨 Saturday shifts can be intense, but it’s all about finding the right routes and timing to hit those bigger numbers. Did I reach my £300 target? Watch to find out! If you’re considering driving for Uber in the UK.
Love the content Slark, thanks for adding in the cost to charge and how miles driven in a day i need to get a home charger but unfortunately don't have a drive way it's costing me around £15 a day worth of charge but i don't do more than 150 miles a day but paying £6 for 200 miles at home charging is amazing 👍
Hi Slark. Can you please show us the actual Uber driving time as well on your future videos? It will be nice to compare it with our own driving time. For example when I work 12 hour shift my actual driving time with passengers onboard is 10 hours. It would be nice to compare.
Hi Slark, great video as usual mate! I was going to ask the same questions. If you could break down how long you actually spend at work including waiting, little breaks, time with no orders. For example. driving time with uber is 11 hours, but in reality work out more to 12-13hours of work. It would be very helpful. Keep up the videos man!
@karololendzki2798 Hello And thanks for watching, this 10 hours are including the waiting, according to my brakes you can see at what time I started and what time I finished my shift ! Any more questions feel free to ask !
Hi slark! Thank you for answering my question, could you share what camera do you use making videos while driving and what do you use for editing your great UA-cam video, thank you again
i use recording glasses and Gopro and i edit my videos with capcut.I am looking for some better quality camera as the glasses are not good (audio and viedo) so i am looking to switch with some 360 camera to capture every angle in and out
250 that’s way too many miles driving on Saturdays you should aim for£2 a mile ..I know it’s hard to do that since Uber dropped the prices but not impossible on weekends but I guess in your case your are renting a car so it don’t matter so much but running your electric car would cost more than hybrid car unless you charge car at home it would out cheaper … but now Uber making it impossible day by day they keep dropping the prices weekend they a bit more but during the week it way too low 9 years ago I used more than now not only that the cost of running your car is so high council fees gone up taxi insurance gone by20% specially Uber don’t allow Somme taxi insurance not sure why and they will only give you options with those who charge premium!! You will squeezed from every angle you think you are making money but by the end of the year once your pay taxes not worth it .. Uber now shares your earning with Hmrc so for any new this Uber make sure you record of expenses and keep receipts for up to 5 years good luck
It all depends on where you are in the UK, and if you're prepared to take the crappiest paying jobs and run around like an idiot. You're down South, and it's completely different. It's also about being in the right place, at the right time. Absolute luck!
@stevetrevor2633 no taxes a different to everyone, let's say if you buy new car in cash and you pay £25-£30 you will pay no tax for the year as you will have a lot expenses
