I'm a bit late to this video but I really enjoyed it. You've done well getting it under 7 hours. Looking forward to more races to £100. Nice to have a longer video.
Another great vlog. Congrats on hitting 10K, it’s been a please to follow along as your channel has grown from strength to strength . I don’t think you have hit 5K when we started following you
Wow! Love this little treat of a 45minute video Luke!! 😁Hope you and your family are well, I appreciate this may be a one off with obviously your daughter being a priority!
For the leaderboard, you could still use hourly earnings to put the rankings in order, and it would solve the issue of ranking a £100 vs £104 day where the £104 day is slightly longer.
Thanks for the vids dude inspired me to go out and do food delivery on the weekends, Just wanted to drive my car on the weekends and seemed like a good way to offset costs
All depends on what sort of car you drive. With my 1.3 yaris It cost me £50 full tank and gave me a bang on 300 miles of fuel. With my 2l audi, it cost me £85!! And it only gives me 400 miles local runs
Looking forward to other £100 races in different locations and even at different times in your area and would be great to see where you beat the clock aswell
Loved the video, I'm currently waiting for UC to fund a pedal bike for me to get myself started on Uber Eatrs, I know technically I could have started already (I have the app pinging me every day telling me I can deliver) but even though I live right next to all the takeouts it's not worth delivering in this town on Foot unless I decline everything except tiny 1 item coop orders which would be awful to do. Hoping when I get this bike I can make some decent money for during the month between UC paydays, your videos have been the main motivation to actually apply and get some gear to be able to do it Keep it up man!
You should see the state of my wooden door if you think that is bad, not really had the time/weather to sand/paint it up here in Jockland this year, between working hours etc, would be good to buy a new door but funds don;' allow, I'm sure many are in the same boat, a decent front door is not cheap.
With Deliveroo the restaurant i work at we only get the order once a driver accepts the job so if you are just around the corner you will have a lot longer wait
If you have a leaderboard since you might have one which is very close to £100 and another one which is maybe close to £110 you could rank them by £/hr to make it fairer.
Enjoy your vids and keep up the good work. Apart from utube adverts that we can’t skip anymore for some reason? And if see midnight mums club from 3 I may have to scream 😱
I moved from Taunton to Scotland and we don’t have the Sunday shop opening laws up here 😂😂 but we have a 10am to 10 pm time everyday that is the only time to sell alcohol 😂
The ending 😆 and I would like to recommend Maypole in birmingham because of how centered it is loads of over areas nearby in Around maypole you got loads of takeaways plus supermarkets nearby two mcdonald's one of them is awesome ghost kitchen what is new but they so quick and is the main one I order from just avoided kings heath can be a bit of nightmare for parking and the new rules around there but got a big area so I think it could be interesting watching
hi mate great videos, how long did it take to get started on uber and deliveroo im having some issues trying to upload my uber documents, in the mean time ive sent everything for deliveroo
Wait a minute so when you deliver to a block of flats you actually have to go inside, up the lift to the actual door? that’s ridiculous all the time when I ordered I’ve come outside to get it when I could’ve had them come to me😂
If this is your only source of income then £100 for 6/7 hours isn't too bad, but if you're side hustling you get £120 doing Amazon Flex in the same time without having to mess about waiting for jobs and making loads of collections.
I find it so strange that when people live in like a block of flats or somewhere you need to buzz in, that they're not already there at the door waiting for you.I mean with most delivery platforms you can now track the driver so why not get ready for them coming and save them the leg work.
@Healthwise. doing it for about a week now. just working out best locations and times to be out and about. as expected its quiet between about 1:30pm and 4pm where i deliver. its excellent after about 7pm because the roads are very quiet so can bash thru lots of jobs quickly 🙃 pay day is coming soon so hopefully this weekend will be nice and busy 😀
Thank you so much for this video, I've been thinking on and off whether to do this or not always worried i wont make enough money. and i can live on 300 a week min so i think it can do done easily. could be wrong, ill watch a few more of your videos i think. cheers.
@leedixon9832 haven't tried it yet. I'm waiting until I move into my new house but they've told me it'll be January now. But definitely wanting to give it a try.
90% of the excitment is when the order comes in on the screen but you didn't show it in ur videos. Can u? U would surely get more atraction with this shift of thinking.
Alot of this UA-camrs are not taking the 23% for tax and nin so I'm guessing they are not even self employed registered no UTR nothing but that's my guess
@@Dragonball12314 the tax man will coming knocking there door so it's hard to avoid tax now? Am I wrong? I thought this year tax changed and now they are coming to declare your ass
Seem to be even more strict in Northern Ireland, can remember walking around central Belfast with a raging hangover at 11:30ish on a Sunday wondering why almost everything was closed...

Found myself actually cheering for you at the end with the dramatic slow motion and music! Really enjoyed this episode!
Rewatched your £200 challenge last night! Excited for this one!

Always exceptionally good & informative content & hugely methodical. Great channel!
Fellow Deliveroo and Uber Eats driver in Taunton 👋. Love the video. Great stuff.

congrz on 10K
that cinematic ending was really good, incorporate more of that in all your future vids throughout for better drama.
Very good video mate keep uploading more and more
Every vid you do is fantastic mate keep these type of vids coming in regular not 2/3 weeks apart
I'm amazed petrol is only ~10%, I thought it would be much higher. Nice work!

The supermarket Sunday opening hours I think is just an England thing. In Scotland they are open as normal on a Sunday

Super helpful thank you
Hi , just about to start with flex. Can you share you excel sheet to work out tax and fuel expenses etc, to know how much to save for the tax man ?
U should do Exeter way
I think you should do a video doing a breakdown how much you earn for the year across ALL platforms & how much you pay taxes at the end of the year.
Wait a minute so when you deliver to a block of flats you actually have to go inside, up the lift to the actual door? that’s ridiculous all the time when I ordered I’ve come outside to get it when I could’ve had them come to me😂
7:06 Would you believe that I've been told by a parking guy, a while ago, that loading bays are not for our use, delivery drivers!? 😐🤦🏻
If this is your only source of income then £100 for 6/7 hours isn't too bad, but if you're side hustling you get £120 doing Amazon Flex in the same time without having to mess about waiting for jobs and making loads of collections.
I do Flex and food delivery, on a normal day I do at least one Flex block, agreed it pays much better on average
Love doing these challenges it inspires me to do the challenge myself I’m gonna try it this Sunday see how I do I will let you know how it goes
Great video!

I think the same it amazes me
Do you take advantage of any Deliveroo perks or UE rewards? Are there extra benefits doing Amazon Flex?
hey zego are charging me 3.29 an hour. any ideas how to get it cheaper ?
6 hours on a Sunday in the UK - what, apparently Scotland has now left the UK then 🤷
Signed up for uber eats. Just got the final part to do with starling and thats me ready to rock and roll 😊

Don't you have Just Eat as well?
How do you work out how much fuel you've used?
There's websites you put your mileage into and they work it out

Sunday for me easy 5h and £100
Do you not take 20% out of your overall earnings? Tax.
Alot of this UA-camrs are not taking the 23% for tax and nin so I'm guessing they are not even self employed registered no UTR nothing but that's my guess

After all tax deductions if you only did this or Amazon flex not much tax is owed if any.
Its better using mileage allowance which contributes to petrol and service etc, which is 45p per mile tax free
And also its untaxed on the first £12,750
What city is this my friend
This is Taunton in Somerset I see him all the time 😂
is this his full time job doing delieveries?
why do you drive so slow?
just floor it grandpa!😁
Sunday trading hours apply to only England and Wales, not "the UK"
