@@privatehiremike Yes only just passed my test been 6 months now there processing it lool so who knows how much more time it will take. Good video are you still doing airports?? Two of my mates who do uber tell me they won't do airports as its not worth it.
mike, you are playing a risky game you have an executive vehicle you should not be doing these outer london jobs, you should've taken that se1 rematch yes pain the butt for an hour and a half but at least it gets you into central where you would be able to do x, comforts and executive jobs locally usally within couple of miles as i do on a daily basis. once you are closer to your average log off time the uber algorithm automatically starts sending you jobs back in an area where you live but not always, plan accordingly.
Thanks for the comment, I prefer taking jobs from Gatwick that edge onto the M23/M25 and then cut into the city, the price for me to SE1 wasn't enticing enough but your point is fair. I wasn't aware of the average log off time so thanks for sharing that gem.
Mike you should check out the McDonald’s wraps or selects meal as no bun that has no nutritional value Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and McDonald’s can be a good option
Hi Mike. Great video as always. Sounds like a tough day. I'm in the West Mids, and definitely miss the South. About to embark on my Uber journey in the next couple of weeks. Seems to me there are way too many drivers, and not enough jobs. I know Uber doesn't care, as it doesn't affect them in a negative way (even though I believe it does). Did you decide to take the Uber X jobs at the airport purely because off the lack of X cars? Would definitely like to see you in Central London doing Exec jobs only for the day.
I took a regular Uber X job from Gatwick to a town in Surrey called Leatherhead. Thanks for tuning into my videos and good luck with your Ubering. Which area will you be driving?
Same situation up here in Liverpool, too many cars and not enough jobs, if I average £20 an hour I'd say it is a good day now but compared to 3 years ago, a crap day 👍
You should start doing the evening rush/late night shift in Central, and keep X and Comfort turned off. No point driving a 5 series doing X jobs, the profit is in Exec work, and you’re more likely to get a roader on Exec in Central as compared to the airports.
No exec driver will only do exec only. Impossible, there aren’t enough exec jobs around and customers know if they book comfort there’s a high chance of a bmw or merc pulling up
C'mon guys, work as a taxi driver nowadays is not worth it at all. Hours and hours waiting and at the end of the day you ended up hardly with couple of quid. Get yourself some proper job and earn a real money. In taxi industry you'll never ever get the money.
Drivers don't want others to join. Trust me, there is plenty of money to be made. Play smart, not hard. Look up current events in your area and hit peak times. A bonus if you live in London
Everyone has their preference when taking jobs, Uber I feel prey on drivers who have that mindset of "not being too picky" My philosophy is, only do the job if your happy with it & it makes sense financially

i always thought uber drivers check flight timetables and arrivals and train strikes etc to game their plans
Why don’t you do free now and bolt it may help boost earnings
