I love how this MBTI video starts with cognitive functions first and explains the importance of them apposed to just talking about the 4 letters 😂 thank you. No one learning basic MBTI actually understands the 8 cognitive functions and the functions are crucial.
The cognitive functions and the 4 letters are completely different for me according to the 4 letters I'm isxp but according to the functions I'm probably esxp so I think people should learn about functions first because introversion and extroversion mean two completely different things for each version of mbti so somebody might think they can't be an estp because they aren't an extrovert unless they knew about the functions
It's funny- you just made the whole typing process so simple. I've seen so many people argue MBTI is a complicated thing and you can't even come close to knowing how a person acts but your video laid it out so plainly and with so much detail.

Yeah the Fi stuff confuses me cause I really lack morals sometimes, like I will change my entire opinion and values if the person thats opposing me seems really nice cause I just feel bad for them and don't want to be mean so I change my values and agree with them, I also feel like what I say is stupid so I think my values are as well. I did get rid of my best friend cause she was disloyal and toxic to me so yeah....idk lol
Lmao. Same on the part that I'm questioning myself. I don't know if I'm an INFP or just an Unhealthy INFJ. When it comes to morality, I don't have that much plus I'm not that introvert- that saying, I have more similarities with INFJ. But this quarantine, I kinda have these nights reflecting on myself. I think I have Fe, Fi/Te, Ti respectively. Ne/Ni in the dominant/Auxillary (I don't know which is more dominant), then Si, then Se. If I'm a Learner (P) or a Decision-maker (J), I'm a P but since if it would be pair up with "I" it's vice versa. That would lead to temperance "IJ" (Perceiver than what you would think). Also, that's why my dominant might be Ne/Ni (I kinda confused if I should add "Si" as choices of my dominant- coz I don't really remember the past unless it's very traumatic. ) Narrowing down: INFJ- INFP INTJ/ISFJ ENFP ENFJ ESFJ And I'm attracted to ESFP/ ESFJ/ENFJ/ENFP and somewhat ISTP/INFP I'm more extrovert than most introvert, but an introvert with an extrovert. I'm not as easy-going as EP; I'm not a planner who plans all night long just like EJ. I'm more of an IJ than IP. With cognitive functions together, I'm also more of an INFJ. But with, the personality as a whole and kinds of stuff, I'm an INFP. So, I don't know anymore hahaha
INFP: In MBTI, if your first extraverted function is a perceiving function, you're a P and if your first extraverted function is a judging function, you're a J.
INFP: Unfortunately we haven't gotten around to making those videos yet, though we did make a video on the perceiving axes: ua-cam.com/video/wt1atn2zBy4/v-deo.html.
Well I got se and ni I got that cleared up but now I think I use both fe and te😑 maybe its just because my type isn't fully matured yet after all I'm still only 16
This was super helpful, but the only question that I have is how can I know the order of my 4 cognitive functions without googling it? I mean is it possible through logic ? I am an NF type (ENFJ) so my Dominant function could be Fe or Ni ?? Or does it need to be Fe, because I am extroverted? I am just trying to see the pattern! So for example for INFJ which is also an NF type it’s Ni as the dominant function and then Fe as the auxiliary, because it’s introverted…did I get that right ?
You're right! ENFJ - Dominant function will be Extroverted, and the 'J' indicates that the your first Extroverted function will be a judging function (Feeling/Thinking) . That's why it's Fe. After figuring out the dominant function, it goes Extroverted-Introverted-Extroverted-Introverted. So Fe-Ni-then the opposite of Ni, which is Se-then opposite of your dominant function, Ti
Okay...so I'm really good at storytelling, I make new concepts easily and can bring that story for too long with lots of fun and complexion (in my mind and in real world by storytelling). I can imagine broadly and can express into words by storytelling. Is it Ne or Ni in me???!!! Can anyone tell me!! (Also I'm an introvert)
That sounds more like Ne to me. Ni is when you condense a lot of information into a single cohesive stream and Ne is when you use a small amount of information to create many new ideas by exploring all the ways it could connect.
That could be either Ne or Ni, you can be good at storytelling with either. In determining which you use, it might help to think of it as the function pairs: Ne-Si or Ni-Se.
@@This_Is_Just_To_Say Thank u so much...😊your right, we have to see it as fuction pairs to get to know the type. I know that because I got my type later...😊😘💜
Me too but not for my entertainment bht to understand it better I don’t remember how many pages but they were just notes on this video so I can find my type and others and it turns out after months of questioning if I’m a istp,or intp I’m an intj
Yeah this is why I choose to learn the functions instead of taking test. The test are so black and white it makes it almost impossible to properly type yourself
I don’t know what I am and I don’t understand cognitive functions so I’ll describe myself and if anyone wants to type me go ahead. I don’t take anything seriously, I do a lot of impulsive things out of boredom, I suck at school all I do is sleep or draw in class or I just skip when it’s too boring, I get easily addicted to anything that gives me dopamine, I don’t like people at all but I like going to parties and getting wasted af and meeting strangers just to observe their quirks or listen to them talk about their meaningless life, I like music (I’ve played metal guitar for 3 years), surprisingly I like math and physics and I’m really good at it I guess that’s probably why I’m still in school, I have a pretty neutral outlook on life Idgaf about most things, I think I’m pretty chill but a lot of people tell me I have serious anger issues but that’s just when they piss me off, I change myself a lot (haircuts, hair dye, piercings, etc) there is no particular reason why its just sometimes I feel like I need change or I get really depressed, I don’t like routines, I like doing urban exploring with friends, I’m not the best at emotionally comforting people but my advice for solving problems is always appreciated by them but sometimes people get offended when I’m too honest. I like things simple and to the point I don’t like it when people over complicate things or get philosophical about nothing. That’s it.
My opinion about all these types: TP: They look me as a incompetent slow person, but if we have many things in common, we get along really good FJ: They treat me as a baby (because I look younger and curious) FP: They treat me as a average person (with or without have things in common) TJ: If we have many things, no problem, but If we don't have any things in common, we get along really bad (Sorry, but I'm an intj with a Te dominant)

Every human Perceive & Judge
Perceive: Sensing & Intuition
Judge: Thinking & Feeling
We Perceive / Judge things Subjectively (introvert) or Objectively (extrovert)
Perceiving:
Sensing = receiving data
Intuition = processing data
Judging:
Thinking = making decisions (pre-action)
Feeling = filtering decision (post-action)
Perceiving - 6:05
Se - receive data objectively
Si - receive data subjectively
Ne - filtering data objectively
Ni - filtering data subjectively
Objectively = more explorative/ more ideas
Subjectively = only see patterns that make sense and connect patterns to form sth larger
Judging - 9:19
Te - making decisions objectively
Ti - making decisions subjectively
Fe - filtering decisions objectively
Fi - filtering decisions subjectively
Objectively = based on experience (trial&error) / more action less theory
Subjectively = likes to find out more about the user (Seeking to understand the underlying foundation) / more theory less action
Well at least that's what I perceive as an ENFJ 😆😆
The pattern for easy memorize:
Either e-i-e-i or i-e-i-e
i. = Inverse / the opposite (i.e. inverse of introvert is extravert)

3rd letter + 1st letter = 1st word
2nd letter + i. 1st letter = 2nd word
i. 2nd word = 3rd word
i. 1st word = 4th word
Perceiving Extravert:
2nd letter + 1st letter = 1st word
3rd letter + i. 1st letter = 2nd word
i. 2nd word = 3rd word
i. 1st word = 4th word
Judging Introvert:
2nd letter + 1st letter = 1st word
3rd letter + i. 1st letter = 2nd word
i. 2nd word = 3rd word
i. 1st word = 4th word
Judging Extravert:
3rd letter + 1st letter = 1st word
2nd letter + i. 1st letter = 2nd word
i. 2nd word = 3rd word
i. 1st word = 4th word

So it's combination btw the first letters E I and second and third letters?
Is there anyway I can contact you guys? I need to find my type. Well the question should be, how much does getting typed cost?
INFP: Sure! You can email us at INcoffeetime@gmail.com. We offer a few options for getting typed :)
Can you explain the fourth letter's function more? We are all perceivers and judgers, so what does it mean to be a P or a J?
INFP: In MBTI, if your first extraverted function is a perceiving function, you're a P and if your first extraverted function is a judging function, you're a J.
What's a good book to read to better understand all the cognitive functions better?
Perfect ! Thank you !

INFP: Unfortunately we haven't gotten around to making those videos yet, though we did make a video on the perceiving axes: ua-cam.com/video/wt1atn2zBy4/v-deo.html.
i have been trying to understand for months and i still dont get it am i stupid or smth :( i give up
Ok, so if I see a place and it resembles somewhere else, this is related to Se or Si?
Thiago Abreu most likely Si, its a database of your memories & information from past experiences
Si.
3:08 Big Brother has left the chat. 😂
so formal
but i like it
If you consider _this_ formal, you have not yet seen Michael Pierce's content (think La Campanella for the credits music).
Well I got se and ni I got that cleared up but now I think I use both fe and te😑 maybe its just because my type isn't fully matured yet after all I'm still only 16
im a fine site 🙂
@@dragonmoth96 omg that’s very well explained, I think I got it now!! Thank you very much^^
Oky but why do i feel like Fe is neurodivergent coded?
intj : Ni Te Fi Se / & / intj : Ni Te Se fi ?????? what is this
some one explain
i didn't understand half of what you're explaining..
SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
@@wasolaso1840 Thank u soo much!!😊😘💜
@@CottonCandy-xk6ts Awesome! Glad you figured out your type. Which type are you then? (if you don't mind sharing)
i just wrote a 6 page essay abt cognitive function for no reason except for my own entertainment
Me too but not for my entertainment bht to understand it better I don’t remember how many pages but they were just notes on this video so I can find my type and others and it turns out after months of questioning if I’m a istp,or intp I’m an intj
good, that sounds fun!
Yeah this is why I choose to learn the functions instead of taking test.
The test are so black and white it makes it almost impossible to properly type yourself
She's an INFP
Me: An infp 🙋
I knew I am Entp!
I’m infj
well done!
Can someone translate this to Spanish for me?
That’s it.
I wrote this with help of google translate and a bit of English that I know so I hope it makes sense. My native language is spanish.
Definitely a Se dom, probably estp
enfp/estp
Ah, very helpful! :>
Te, Fi, Se, Ni
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Se-Sacral Chakra
Si, Te-Root Chakra
Ti-Crown Chakra
Ne-Solar Plexus Chakra
Ni-Third Eye Chakra
Fe-Throat Chakra
Fi-Heart Chakra
My opinion about all these types:
TP: They look me as a incompetent slow person, but if we have many things in common, we get along really good
FJ: They treat me as a baby (because I look younger and curious)
FP: They treat me as a average person (with or without have things in common)
TJ: If we have many things, no problem, but If we don't have any things in common, we get along really bad (Sorry, but I'm an intj with a Te dominant)
“INTJ with a Te dominant” ??? You’re ENTJ then.
inps are god
Se ni te fi
se ni te fi
'sentimental' is possibly the best F parallel for 'logical'.

The mouth sounds make it hard to listen to 😭
WTF is she talking about???
