VG/Abyss with Blooddrinker and mag gauntlets is a lot of fun. Paired with things like voracious blade and mending execute you can get more heals than the dmg you're doing
Ran with you in arena the other day. (Grane Train) I ran Blooddrinker with serenity before the buff in a light build. It was actually nice in arena. Only thing that sucks is when you are full hp and not focused, you’re just doing 25% reduced damage. But generally you can stay and fight longer so my damage numbers were high. If it’s melee heavy and no healer, it’s an option.
I love blooddrinker. Running a triple 200 split, dex,Str and con with SnS + serenity. Then fridgid set + DVP full with slash ward. Thrust on amulett and strike on shield. Im doing so much dmg wgile beeing tanky af anf even if im dropping low i leech myself back up again
@@tannerryan6006it would be taking advantage of the insane damage boost on bleeding targets from Finisher. To counter the less damage aspect. And also because the full bleed build is usually doing less burst damage and doing more over time with dots. So since you're not concerned with doing as much base damage as possible, it basically just gives you much more survivability and let the dots kill. The example I have is Syncretic Bow with Finisher vs Boltcaster. Bolt does ridiculous burst damage with less dot damage, and the Finisher + Syn Bow is dot focused. Just a different playstyle.
It's 25% base damage you loose which means you only loose like 10% dmg. Also blooddrinker lifeleech works on Aoe, so the more shit you hit the more you heal. Normal lifeleech just works on 1 target as it has a 0,1 CD per lifesteal
I run blood drinker with either 150-200 con in arena which still lets me slap out those 4k hits with GS and GA. The 25% damage is noticable but the survivability it gives is unmatched in pve and very strong in pvp. I'm doing a full leeching build sitting at around 52% with the artifact.
@@shaydz13 25% ring artifact, 7% ring leech, 3% weap runeglass, 7% weap life steal, 5% armor runeglass. Then if you have a shield, that goes up to 54% with SnS or Flail. I also use trenchant recovery. All this is assuming life steal is additive and not multiplicative. But who knows with AGS, nothing ever works like you'd expect.
It’s great outnumbered but super tough in heavy. Actually liking it in medium. If you use it, I suggest going very high damage like this build. Or with war hammer and it’s awesome rend

How do you feel about running this on a SH Light Spear leeching build? I have a vampire build now with leeching arb Spear + Finisher and i feel like this would benefit that build. Losing out on that damage though idk how i feel.

Yea I went through this da e issue in are arena. After first round they always ignored me and saved me for last round
So the 25% damage reduction isn't a true 25% its actually numbers wise about 13% or less

Very likely so. You’ll essentially only be -10% damage then add 7% from a thrust ring…. Ok I’m doing this today, with a twist 😉
Lifesteal does not benefit bleeds and dots.

Does the added slash damage still apply even if you aren't using a slashing weapon (such as a bow)?
It does not
I imagine a point tank or tank in the OPR clumps it will shine. Solo PVE about only use for it there.

I think it’s perspective. Because you have finisher, look at it as bloiddrinker is only - 10% dmg. And that’s before factoring in light dmg increase 😉
