Hello and great build! but with the recent changes coming to season 5, more specifically the Heavy Equip Load changes getting that -15% in damage. Is there anything you would change in this build now?
One point of Information, Jasper is currently bugged. It is not providing more than 1 stack and its "bonus" appears to be counted against empower cap, unlike other gems. This is both from my testing and others have reported this as well. So your build would be more powerful either when Jasper is fixed or if you switched to a different gem.
Yea I’ve heard this, but felt it’s best if working as intended. Forgot to mention tho. However I did assume it counted towards empower cap cause old jasper felt like it did. Good shout!
Normal jasper works as intended (it stacks to 3 AND duration/stacks refresh on hits) But Runeglass jasper is bug, it do not stack and not refresh on hit, and this is very important for the uptime of the empower. If I remember correctly the description of runeglass is wrong too, it should be 6% instead of 8% (like any other runeglass the value is a bit lower) And ye, jasper is the only gem that counts as empower. (It was always the case) I hope it helps to clarify :) TL;DR: in general a normal jaser or just another gem is better even.

I feel like relentless freedom completely removes the necessity for the Freedom artifact, minus the slow, so I think this current build you have with the regular freedom perks is better than if you had the freedom artifact equipped. :) MoAr ArMoUr
Not necessarily. Helps u instantly get out of grav wells , ice walls , and more. Either way I use void dark plate but see value for both. Especially considering the perk slots freedom pants open up
is healing heart on the amulet really better than refreshing toast? weighing how many times in a game I pop heartrune versus popping potions I would have through refreshing toast would have more value. plus it synergizes with healthy toast letting you pop those mana pots faster too

Hey man great build but how do you find the gear, I'm just getting into PVP now as a pve player I'm completely lost, how do you get the imbued helm etc? How do you get the mythril plate legs etc, did you craft them? Did you buy them? Did you farm them etc I can work out how to get the same items you have on your build many thanks for your help
Crafted and from trader. I wanna say 2 of the pieces I had crafted, and rest I got lucky on trader. Search for the priority perk each day then hope to get lucky

Am running almost same build you´r doing but no elemental in gear over enchanted ward and opals in gear works like a sharm think it´s depending alot of incomming dmg boils down to ower chest i take it over tumler ore freedom just because 20% is no joke it´s so safe have you tested elemental vs enchanted ward really? other then that good guide like always.
Enchanted is super viable too. What I would like to test next mutation is the frigid dawn set and go ele aversion, enchanted, then add maybe a flame/thrust conditioning or two. But yea void dark plate feeling soo good
@nyce-gaming im trying to decide on a lerk for the Jackalope. Im not sure about Sure Footing as i feel i spend more time chasing and fighting enemies than blocking them. Especially in OPR i get exhausted pretty fast. I was thinking to put Nature Attunement or Backstab for a burst of damage. My resources are limited so i said id ask you. What are your toughts on a different perk for the Jackalope? Thank you for the good work!

Thank you for that and for your reply. I might go with the Nature Attunement or Sure footing, I like the sound of more damage but that tanky mobility definitely will make the difference in a lot of situations as well. I typically go hammer flail or hammer sns for pve. Serenity works good too tho. just add taunt gem and go 300 con 150-150. use the right side defiance tree only. and yes with the upcoming changes to heavy I’m considering a medium serenity build or a medium gs and butcher build

I personally only like the relentless rush. The other two are so predictable and only work on exhausted ppl or pve typically. They hit hard, but aren’t true combos or guaranteeing if their hits
Hey Nyce good build I just picked it up myself before the heavy nerf but i want to use it with the Frigid set which has a lot of magnify so i cant go 200/200/200 im forced to go either 400str or 400 dex and 200 con or 100str or dex and 350 str or dex with 150ncon. Any advice?
Oh man that is tough. The downside of that set. It’s typically better for 2 attribute specs like hammer sns. I guess the 400 dex route. How many non magnify pieces u have? Tried changing food?

Will defenitely add a large skill ceiling to heavy and was a needed adjustment to be completely honest. I think it’s going to be a bigger negative than some are thinking
vigor and invigorated is good for this build? I playing with djinn headwrap artfact with medium armor, but i wanna change to heavy armor with djinn. What you say ?
If I’m doing heavy load, I’d want the benefit of heavy on each piece. I personally don’t find head wrap worth that, but if you’re going to do invig and such but you might as well. I think it could work
Hey, i run shirking health/fortification health on most of my armors. Is shirking heals/Ankh not worth it anymore? Also, you should totally make a video explaining matchups (SnS/Spear is kicking my ass lol)

how does this build do vs bow/rapier builds in open world pvp/duels? im really interested to play a gs/sns build but i feel like people keep telling me bow destroys it, im new to the game so would love to know!
I do fine personally. They have more mobility and if they want to run away they’ll not be caught. But like in a duel or 1v1 , the speed from sns and access to two gap closers makes it great
Why Ele Aversion? Next Season might be totally different and you would have to farm again for a "perfect" Set. Wouldnt you be much better with like universal Stats like Enchanted Ward/Refreshing?
No…. I don’t see how the game can change where ranged DPS isn’t the only thing that gives me a challenge. For example, frigid dawn from the new expedition for example is the best anti-ranged DPS with ele aversion enchanted. I’d even add flame or thrust conditioning as 3rd perk

Ranged will be tough to fight BUT I thought ahead with keen speed on the 1h and 2 gap closers. No full update but I’ll go over it in a video once the patch drops. We’ll likely put a stam gem in the 1h (energized)

I had a damn good build going that was almost like this but medium but it was only good pre season 4 and it was medium. Since ive seen this I made some adjustments to my build and some of the perks you used I die 4 times in tonight’s war and got a total of 20 kills. Much appreciated, you deserve a follow.
Wish I could keep playing but this game has caused my monitors to suddenly go black. I can hear the game everything but the monitors are not responding. And its not just me. I uninstalled it. no issues. Even thought it was my old system dying so I spent $2k on a new system I built and it happened again. Until I uninstalled it.
Hmmm that’s an interesting issue . I’m sure you tried obviously, but I’d look into it more. There’s got to be something in the in game settings that can fix this with your output. And if it’s black before you get a chance, there’s some graphic card/pc settings to fix this. I watched a decent vid that helped my performance and visuals via searching on yt. Hope it can help you

Yea this was made before the heavy armor changes. I still think hearty worth it when possible however. Getting that stam back enough for another dodge just a little quicker especially in combination with energizing rune glasses feels good

Tested this and the Stam nerf not a big deal unless u spamming dodge and not willing to wait 3 seconds after first dodge. Serenity nerf will be fine. It’ll still be bis great sword. I imagine them changing trenchant crits or strikes to enchanted, but who knows. I doubt they touch the default perk
Hi! I'm pretty new in the game and play exactly sns/gs in heavy. And it's feel disgusting to play vs a lot of light archers, mages etc, almost impossible to catch them and kill with all those dodges, can u give some advices maybe? Of course I dont have serenity yet, but anyway:)
Don’t exhaust yourself. Time your S&s gap closer after one of their rolls. You got two gap closers which helps a lot. But either way some times it’s tough catching ppl who don’t wanna be caught

I wouldn’t do rune glasses in armor at all in this build. No elemental damage and the melee one has a cooldown

depends on your gear then you need the right food choice. typically you want your food boosting your lowest attribute out of con , dex, and strength
add attributes until magnify jumps then put into the next stat. I show on stream a lot

Options will be enchanted or attunement tbh. Probably just go attunement. I typically don’t go for the back stab ones on 1h

Are you considering using the same build, keep the void darkplate but on medium ?
I’m keeping things as is. If I go medium I’ll do featherweight as that’s more effective with shields in play

And if it’s black before you get a chance, there’s some graphic card/pc settings to fix this. I watched a decent vid that helped my performance and visuals via searching on yt. Hope it can help you
@@Nyce-Gaming yeah Ive gone through a whole list of things. Graphics drivers, settings, etc etc etc. Keeps doing it. I have to hard reset my computer. The support isnt any help at all. Hoping they fix it in the future. We will see

Yea this was made before the heavy armor changes. I still think hearty worth it when possible however. Getting that stam back enough for another dodge just a little quicker especially in combination with energizing rune glasses feels good

Mm heavy armor Stam nerf and serenity nerf ggs
Tested this and the Stam nerf not a big deal unless u spamming dodge and not willing to wait 3 seconds after first dodge. Serenity nerf will be fine. It’ll still be bis great sword. I imagine them changing trenchant crits or strikes to enchanted, but who knows. I doubt they touch the default perk
Dont think sertenity will get a nerf. they rather nerf the new gauntlet that inc rease heavy dmg

Hi! I'm pretty new in the game and play exactly sns/gs in heavy. And it's feel disgusting to play vs a lot of light archers, mages etc, almost impossible to catch them and kill with all those dodges, can u give some advices maybe? Of course I dont have serenity yet, but anyway:)
Don’t exhaust yourself. Time your S&s gap closer after one of their rolls. You got two gap closers which helps a lot. But either way some times it’s tough catching ppl who don’t wanna be caught
yep, trying to play smth like that:) But still annoying af. I was thinking about maybe try some medium armor, testing different kite and tower shields, pretty ok in melee but those archers..:) Oh, one more weird question - can I use kite shield's skin on the tower shield, do u know?@@Nyce-Gaming
