UPDATE: Some people have pointed out that leveling gear to 7.3 before receiving a transfer (tip #5) is not necessary. I doubled checked the math using the current Global rates and indeed the cost difference only comes out to a handful of stones, SO you guys can forget about tip #5 for now. If you want to transfer blue gear into Level 0 Epics, go ahead. When Epic II comes out some version of this might still be necessary, but it seems that they might have rebalanced it in KR so that it's no longer an issue. Just still MAKE SURE the item you are transferring is maxed (tip #4)! And consider throwing some cheap/junk traits into it as well for some extra Blessing if it's not already full. (more explanation on that in an upcoming Trait guide).
Oh nice. I have maxed out Blues waiting to transfer and it seems like it is gonna take a while to get them into the purples. Still gotta get the traits for the purples tho. :-/
Will it work with 2 Blues that are lvl 9? -> First one makes the Purple item to lvl 6, upgrade it to 7.3, then transfer the second Blue to max the Purple one. And would that be even worth it?
"throwing some cheap/junk traits into it as well for some extra Blessing" - but that means we have to then Convert that junk trait away from the item using the expensive Trait Conversion Stones, no?
@Roadrunner_KZSK the junk traits are only for if you are planning to transfer the item. When transferring, all leveled up traits are converted into Blessing automatically

ty for the tips, really useful... one question tho, the transfer you do from blue to purple, doing the lvl 7 30% trick, is this the same on white green items? for example transfer a green lvl 6 item to a lvl 7 30% blue, does the same as blue/purple?
Btw -> There is a reason why having bad trait on a epic item makes perfect sense: blessing transfer. You should have mention that blessings are transfered when transfering levels. The bad traits are usually much cheaper, sou you can buy a loads of the rare uselesstraits (like wilkdin damage), pump up your blessing count on your epic item with bad trait, then transfer the exp with blessings to another epic gear (this time with perfect traits). Ensuring 100% chance costs 450 blessings. Can be much muc cheaper than upgrading the traits from epic weapons only.
20:50 If you didn't combine them you would have dissolved them both separately for 10 each for a total of 20. But instead you are dissolving them for a total of 25 as a single unit. You have effectively gained +5, not +15. It's still a gain though and not something I would have thought to test.
Honestly any MMO you get into now is hard to learn. All the others have 10+ years of info to digest - and sure I know how to upgrade gear in WoW because I was there when the new system was put in...but I still forget. Would a new player even understand where to begin? So at least EVERYONE is starting from a base of "How does this work?" in this game!
When dissolving gear for powder each piece is worth 10. If you combine the same pieces to unlock trait slot its worth 25. Net gain of only 5 NOT 15. In other words if you can combine to maximize profit then do it, BUT do not stress if you can't.
This was a good one. Lots of specific tips that aren't just the usual youtubers all copying each other again and again. They'll start copying you soon though... Learned a few things. Thanks and subbed!
This guy really gave the best advice I've seen and he is absolutely right. I'm a new player and I'm a level 27 and 24 characters. The transfer gear thing I was completely scared of even touching it.
Yes, like anything in a video game every level requires more experience and you’re not transferring levels when you absorb ha ha green into a blue you are not transferring levels. You are transferring the equal amount of experience that it took you to get that green weapon to level six that amount of experience is getting transferred into the blue, but the blue takes more experience to get to level six that takes twice the experience to get the level six so you only get three levels out of that level six itemwhite purple so you get less out of it but I see a lot of people holding onto a level nine blue item and waiting until they’re at level seven on their purple light before they absorb it
13:23 oh my god i made this "mistake" of not opening the chest at the end because of poor UX design and it turned out to be a good thing (the leave map was more glowy than the dang reward chest). 😂😂
if you want mats and parchments or anything else, please go and farm open dungeons as they drop plenty of those, so one of the important thing as this guy mention is not use your contracts until lvl 50., because the game starts at lvl 50 and you will farm a lot... in this game.
Oh dude, I have the transferring thing it’s transferring experience not levels so it literally doesn’t matter really when you do it you’re still going to transfer the same bottle of experience. The different thing is why if you’re at a higher level that experiences not as “right takes a lot more to go from 6 to 7 and it does from one to two. Meanwhile, you bring Carey around that level, I guess if you have all the stones ready to go all the way to max level on your purple then what you’re saying makes a lot of sense but if you just got the purple and you want to have some power, just do it transfer your level line into your purple and get what you can out of out of it so that you could use the purple
god daym, my barin got wrinkles watching this. honestly thank you. no mistakes were made but fo sho avoided them coz i reached 50 just now and maxed blue gear.
@@slainetroyard9004 I main GW2, there’s a difference between tons of currencies through over a decade of development and expansions. Every single Korean mmo does this purposely to extend playtime. WoW, GW2, even ESO does it out of real content.
Ummm but those purple tokens (dungeon tokens) will refill aswell after a day or so, so I don't understand why you shouldn't use those on lower lvl dungeons?
One point it really does matter you said it really doesn’t matter that much with greens but it does you transfer six levels of experience you end up with three levels on the blue that you now don’t have to use books to get to get that upgraded all the way, so if it does matter a lot, I mean wellthe first few levels of upgrade don’t use as many books. You still don’t wanna waste your books upgrading three levels you could’ve got off the transfer.
The transfer mechanic doesn't matter how do you it. Each grow stone gives set amount of exp, and gear give set amount of exp. You need set amount of exp to get purple to lvl 9. It literally doesnt matter if you use blue lv9 off the bat, or you use it at the end. People usually use it straight away, to get a big boost in power right away
@@Gluosnis9 No, it's all set numbers. For example from lvl 0 to lvl 6 you need 1k experience, but from lvl 7 and 30 to lvl 9 you need also 1k. Grow stones give you set amount regardles of what lvl you item is
You know, dude I just learned something from you and I actually listen to this video to find out your errors, but I did not catch which of the stones go to which of the craft items I never really noticed or paid attention
I had a question regarding levelling up greens to blues, should i follow the same methodology of waiting till the blues are a certain level, or does it not matter between these two rarities?

Finally, legit tips n tricks
Damnnn this is a great video!!! Alot I learned!! Johnny Sins thanks for the guide man!
Amazing tips! Lol I did all the “DON’T” 😂😂😂
Gj on the video Morro!
Watching this on day 2 of playing the game... mind explodes.
Learning this game has been a challenge jfc
Korean 🤣 took me like 8 hrs but started to feel somewhat smooth
Yuuup I felt like that for pretty much the whole first week in KR. Eventually it all feels much simpler (:
Honestly any MMO you get into now is hard to learn. All the others have 10+ years of info to digest - and sure I know how to upgrade gear in WoW because I was there when the new system was put in...but I still forget. Would a new player even understand where to begin? So at least EVERYONE is starting from a base of "How does this work?" in this game!
Amen
Which are the most usefull traits to collect for sell?
And which are junk?
Thanks, this has clarified a few things for me.
When dissolving gear for powder each piece is worth 10. If you combine the same pieces to unlock trait slot its worth 25. Net gain of only 5 NOT 15. In other words if you can combine to maximize profit then do it, BUT do not stress if you can't.
It's worth 35, for a gain of 15. Check again (; The additional pieces are worth 25 each instead of 10 separately.
Ok so what you said in video. Versus actual is different then.got it.
This was a good one. Lots of specific tips that aren't just the usual youtubers all copying each other again and again. They'll start copying you soon though...
Learned a few things. Thanks and subbed!
Amazing video, thanks for all the info!
This guy really gave the best advice I've seen and he is absolutely right. I'm a new player and I'm a level 27 and 24 characters. The transfer gear thing I was completely scared of even touching it.
Great vid mate, thx alot for the info. There is alot to process into a awsome new mmo so ty
Great tips, helped out a bunch!
Best mmo at explaining things it’s easier than neverwinter that I also play
I was just going to farm low lvl contracts thanks for thr guide on time
Goated video, bro is the johnny sins of throne and liberty. 😂
What in your opinion good beginner weapon combination? Something easy to learn?
Don't want to choose just whatever and regret it later
Sword/Greatsword is easy to pick up and good in all content, if you're ok with tanking dungeons
Hmmm not sure. I like tanking/healing in FFXIV but not in wow or ESO....
Have to do some dungeons, not sure if I want to tank or not
@@lorgren4002healing and tanking are both quite fun in this game
Xbow and dagger
can you make an gear farming guide / traits please thank you
The amount of currencies and materials in every Korean mmo is exactly why they die out. Complicating things for no reason other than making us grind.
No kidding
Have you played wow? Gw2?
Its the genre
@@slainetroyard9004 I main GW2, there’s a difference between tons of currencies through over a decade of development and expansions. Every single Korean mmo does this purposely to extend playtime.
WoW, GW2, even ESO does it out of real content.
@@gorrvaskr5963 gw2 had 16 currencies at launch -_-
yeah its super lame and annoying
Ummm but those purple tokens (dungeon tokens) will refill aswell after a day or so, so I don't understand why you shouldn't use those on lower lvl dungeons?
Exactly my thoughts aswell. I don't see any point not to spend them early on while levelling
Thanx for the tips realy helpfull. You got my sub mate.
This was some great insight ty very much.

The upgrading system reminds me a lot of Blade and Soul.
So there is no way to get "more mileage out of your growstones" like the video says?
@@Gluosnis9 No, it's all set numbers. For example from lvl 0 to lvl 6 you need 1k experience, but from lvl 7 and 30 to lvl 9 you need also 1k. Grow stones give you set amount regardles of what lvl you item is
@@TheShoy69 It's to avoid bad rng on the later upgrades that cost you 7-9 growth stones per click.
@@pinie111 This guy gets it, the video is true. For minmax follow what he says, for donut care feed whenever.
the point of using it in the higher levels is you dont use 35 stones per level after you get to lvl 7
Great vid man, thank you! 🎉
Great video Morrolan! :^)
Awesome tips!! Thank you!
Top tier content explanation
You know, dude I just learned something from you and I actually listen to this video to find out your errors, but I did not catch which of the stones go to which of the craft items I never really noticed or paid attention
Subscribing… please make more videos for us beginners. Your explanations are the best!
Super helpful dude thanks
on the contracts , its not if you would like to.....its always refresh and try for the pouches, pick one refresh pick one refresh
I had a question regarding levelling up greens to blues, should i follow the same methodology of waiting till the blues are a certain level, or does it not matter between these two rarities?
