I really think theyre overestimating the power of their exclusives to convince PC players to spend an additional $500 just to play a game when many of them wont even install another launcher for a free game. The best thing they can do to entice people would be to launch a store front on pc wnd follow the Xbox play anywhere feature where buying w digital game either on PC or PS gets you both. From my own personal experience if a game offers play anywhere I'll buy on xbox rather than steam so if Sony did the same i would probably more interested in getting a PS5

I mean... Already in 2024, Rebirth Stellar Blade Rise of Ronin are all single Player exclusives. Helldivers 2 is the biggest game of the year and Pacific Drive was also console exclusive. They are all great games. Seeing AstroBot and Silent Hill still coming this year.

Is it just me? Or Astrobot looks a lot like it is "inspired" a little too much on Mario 3D games? regarding gameplay of course... Some parts remainded me to Sunshine and others reminded me a lot to Galaxy
I mean, it's a 3D platformer. The basic look is going to be similar, it just matters for what new elements they bring to the table. Plus, we get so few new 3D Mario games that when a big budget game takes a bit too much inspiration and feels more like a Mario game with an OC, I'm honestly fine with that. Play a Hat in Time if you haven't, you'll see what I'm going for.
I'm pretty excited for the new Astro Bot game! Loved Astro's Playroom, such a fun adorable platformer! Also really hoping Silent Hill 2 is going to be good, the gameplay looks promising at least. People really search for the tiniest, insignificant things to complain about instead of being grateful Sony is branching out from games being locked to console only... ASTRO BOT!!!!💪🏾🔥😁 It was the best thing shown as soon as I saw Playroom I knew it deserved to be it's own game. Very excited for this one. Where Winds Meet and Silent Hill 2 were good to my top picks. Until Dawn gave me heavy Saw vibes, so it has my interest. Alien in VR is aight but I'd rather something like Isolation again just a straight console game again. Marvel Rivals was good to see as well Venom looks cool and nice to have Adam Warlock included. Concord was extremely disappointing I thought it was going to be Sony's answer to Starfield. Another multiplayer live service game when you have Destiny, Helldivers 2 which are good then Marathon should be coming out in the future we didn't need another live service game, not as interested in this one.
I feel sorry for people who don't understand that Monster Hunter is Capcom's best selling game. Capcom. That means MH is bigger than massive titles like Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, or Megaman. MH Wild is the only game you'll need for the whole year.

Nintendo will announce their Nintendo Directs the day before, and they'll have major reveals. This is normally E3 season, and many people feel like the PS5 has been lacking compared to Sony's previous generations. So I'm not surprised everyone is wanting big announcements here.

The main thing is Nintendo has all their big series on the Switch, and they are at the end of their generation. They already announced their new console is being shown this year. The PS5 is almost 4 years old, and it has less worth while 1st party exclusives than the Switch got in its first year (some of which even have ps4 releases). Many of the series that made people playstation fans just aren't here anymore. People can only tell themselves, "Well, the next SoP will be the big one." So many times before giving up on the current state of the industry in general.

We don’t need a pro we need more games first.
The only big games we really got for PS5 was Ragnarok. Spider-man 2 and the rest are either playable on PC or PS4. PlayStation just seems bland.
Ragnarok was also cross gen, meaning I could play it on the ps4. The only shiny games in the new gen is spiderman 2 and returnal

10000% pumped they actually are doing a full blown astro bot game. I have been wanting it since i played playroom. It was so fun, the controller feedback was amazing, and tghe level design was well done. Cant wait.
