Nice work. I’ve used CP a lot in FS19 for harvesting etc but seeing bale collection, (something I’ve not used before) is amazing. The mod is tiny too. There are some super clever people in this modding team.
great video Scroft, theres always great satisfaction with me when you set up a course or complete set of courses and it all goes according to plan. we could set a courseplay course in fs 19 etc to the sale point or farm yard as well and the tractor would come back and continue on. that may yet be still in there plans with further development. wonder if we could in the future even run 2 courses together, one with courseplay and another with auto drive. :)
I know it's in the works. I used to append one course to another for refilling lime or seeds so soon that should be available now we have record a route 👍
That was very helpful, I was trying to think of a way to get the autostacker to work with courseplay, I was unaware of the collecting/wrapping bales feature built into it! Thanks Scroft.
if you buy the right rear mower attachment, you can auto winrow and eliminate that step. For more fun, you can get the mower mod that has a PTO on it, then get the fast baler mod. Your mower can then mow, bale and wrap all in one shot.
As someone that started playing this game recently this mods make the game so interesting to me , sure i dont want the game to automate everything right but some things is so nice to automate :) like for example i learned how to send a tractor to a field and start automatically to cultivate or seed it , still testing out things but man i like how y explain so well in your videos , thanks again.

Wait...does Auto Drive just "know" where these places are, or did you have to drive the route first and record it? That wasn't clear. Always wanted to have all this stuff automated. Makes complete sense to simply use the same course I have for harvesting as the one for bale collecting or forage collection. I'm assuming AD then knows to dump the forage harvester at the straw sell point? Does the tractor then come back, or do I have to drive it back?
An important thing about vehicle speed when u use more then 1 vehicle on a field is to be aware of there working width. In this example i think the mower have a wider width then the windrower so its never gonna be a problem. However the bigger windrowers are mutch wider then any mower so even though u may have them both set at the same speed the windrower will always catch up to the mower eventually. The greater the difffrence in working width the faster the windrower will catch up. This can happen even if u lower the windrowers vehicle speed if the working width diffrence is big enough. In general if u use 2 vehicles on 1 field and the first vehicle have a mutch shorter working width then the 1 coming behind. Then give the first vehicle a big headstart or they will start to block eachother once they get to close.
you did! I'm slowly starting to understand courseplay! :) Thank You. Is it possible to harvest, so that the trucks wait under the field, and a tractor with a self-unloading trailer drives between the combine harvester and the truck?
Wow, did not realise how much CP can do. Until now I've just used it for basic field work and combine work while I corn cart, didn't know a lot of this was possible (also not used auto drive and that seems handy too, although I kinda like the driving to the sell points).. Either way this info is definitely gonna up my game.
How these sort of features aren't in the base game is mindblowing. I'm about 80 hours into the game and things like baling were really, really starting to grind me. The AI is useless at best, which is a shame considering how polished the rest of the game really is. Cheers anyway, installed these two mods
Thanks for the automation tutorial, Scroft! I had some questions to you but most of the answers were already given by this video. I tried it on Calmsden and it worked perfect. I am sure that you know, but I want to notice that there is a wrapper of Kuhn modified by 4D Modding, which can wrap the Hesston bales. The trick is not to produce 240cm bales. It can wrap to 220cm. Also they made an autoload trailer for Hesston bales. Calmsden is getting more enjoyable by those equipment. I'd like to ask something: If we update the map, can we continiue to the existing game, or should we start a new game?
As always Ozan, a top comment. Thanks for the continued amazing support. Hope all is well. A very general answer is to confirm in the map description, as the updates are released. Due to not knowing when future viewers may see this. But Oxy has previously stated you will not need a new save but some things may not work properly without a new save. With that said, I have not confirmed what those things are.
You can continue on with your current save game. The only thing is the horse jumps will disappear and the prices for the fuel tanks will stay the same. so nothing major 👍
@@xBrodeurguyx Thanks for your assistance and kind words. I think Scroft uses a modified version of the map. Actually I can not demolish the pigs' place to evaluate there as a field, but he can.
