Welcome to the first in a new set of videos that will be coming over the next few weeks, Farmer Sims Guide To...
In these videos I plan on creating a reasonably detailed guide on a couple of my favourite, and must have mods for Farming Simulator 22...Courseplay and Autodrive.
Beginning with this video, which is aimed at those of you who are starting from scratch with Courseplay, I'm going to show you the absolute basics of how to get started with the mod once it's been installed, and run through a few of the new menus that are now in the game.
Hopefully after watching this, you'll have a bit more knowledge and confidence to dive right in and get your automation on!

Been using CP since FS19. Learned something new in this video and I am pretty sure I will learn about expert mode stuff.

A genuinely interesting and well made tutorial, even for those of us who can't utilise courseplay. I play on Xbox X so I can only envy those who get access to all these brilliant mods. Maybe one day I will be able to sweet-talk the wife in to getting a gaming PC. Keep up the brilliant vids mate. They are all top notch.

Great video. You can clear vehicle course also from CP's HUD and it's the icon right next to the eye icon and it looks like crossed out circle. Keep up the good work.

One important thing to remember is that when using courseplay, it may not always recognize all the full widths of the machinery. Sometimes, it only recognizes the width of folded machinery, which can lead to incorrect results. Therefore, it's always best to know the exact width of the machinery you are using and ensure that it's set correctly in the settings. I forgot to do that one time, and it wrapped itself around the nearest tree in the border.
Hello Jonathan, yes I think I've had that once before. In a way, that's why I've tried to advise viewers to pay close attention to the course width, and any possible width discrepancies before plotting a course in the video.
Courseplay likes inside angles, it doesn't really like outside angles. The angle right before the first 90 degree is an example.
Yes you’re right mate, the outside edge of any implement will always travel a longer distance. With a few tweaks though…

"clear current course" at 41.14 m you click the little symbol on the courseplay headsup displayu box tab next to the green eye and that removes, cancels the course also .

Hey FSG I'm currently trying to use cosplay with the fliegi knife roller and the Great plains 3 p1006 NT with the conservation agricultural mod and it's using the knife roller first and then it's supposed to drop the se edar down but it doesn't drop the cedar down also I'm on zelonka
Hello John, the first thing I would suggest is that it could be a mod conflict. The Con Ag mod is very new and without knowing too much about it there's a big chance it could be conflicting with CP or vice versa. Try the same thing but without the Con Ag mod and see if it stil behaves the same way. Also I'm Farmer Sim, not FSG :)

I can't imagen playing without courseplay anymore. What are suggestion for potato and beet harvesters?
Haha yeh I’m the same, always use CP and AD! Suggestions for potato and beet harvesters? If the field your in has anything at all that those big machines might come into contact with, do as many headlands as possible first m, to give them enough room as possible to turn around during the up n down rows. You may need to adjust the pipe offset in the AD settings for the unloader depending on what kit your using. Increase to move further away/decrease to bring closer. Aside from that buddy I can only wish you good luck, those potato/beet harvesters I’ve always found a bit of a pain….but it is possible nonetheless :)

Hello ZBULLET523! No extra graphic enhancements have been used on this one mate, only the LOD distances and terrain distances etc are turned up to 300% in the xml file

Hi Hades1890! I’ll be honest mate that’s a new one to me, I’ve never seen that message before. The only time I’ve known of this game using the word permissions is on multiplayer. Are you on multiplayer/dedicated server?
@@Farmer-Sim Ya I don't think the mods multiplayer friendly.
@@hades1890 yeh I thought it wasn’t hence my confusion with the permissions term. I googled the message you were getting too and I couldn’t find any other reference to it. I’ve not known of any mod conflicts with courseplay but it might be worth creating a throwaway save with no mods other than courseplay and see if you get the same message?
@@Farmer-Sim Was planning on trying that but even if it doesn't work I'm ok with doing my 100 acres of irregular fields by hand.
