Thanks Brian like to see the new tech way of doing this.
great info😀 scangrip also have nice UV lamp
Great repaint sir..
Very interesting and explained so nicely. Keep up the great work.
Thanks! Gotta break it down into digestible bites !
That’s some awesome primer to dry that fast from a light cool video and review
Isn’t it great! Even better in person when you’re turning three bumpers in one day
Good information. Thanks
Hello Mr.. Paint society.. Good job sir.. And nice to see U..
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed
Nice information brother
Thanks! I sent you a message back
Genius, top man
Good stuff. They won't buy us the light. But 10 minutes outside on a sunny day still viable solution
Get a scangrip UV light. $380. Well worth it.
Would you do a video about pairing over carbon fiber parts
Just order one. Different brand from nuinventory for our painter. Good stuff keep it up
Oh yea! I am sure there’s going to be quite a few of different bands by now.
Good info brotha
Thanks for watching!!
Hey! You are amazingly good at teaching in your videos. Thanks! A question for you. If I use 1.2 nozzle instead of 1.3 or 1.4. (And I have the settings on Gun set correctly), when I apply base paint or Clearcoat 2K to the car. Does it help me not to get Orange Peel, if I choose 1.2 The Nozzle? If it does not help anything. What will be the difference with 1.2 instead of 1.3 / 1.4? Thanks!
It gets dang cold here in Minnesota, how would that work on parts that are cold and the air temp is cold, I know I have to aim a heater to dry somecatalysed stuff on a cold January day
I use the same primer and a smaller version of the light. It will actually fill 80 grit with a couple coats.
Scangrip has a larger version of the light that has a timer but is half the price of the light you have.
I like to cure, sand a bit then hit it with the light just for piece of mind. Really is a time save and worth the price.
Definitely worth it. I always like to refine with 220 because of shrink back just in case. Like you said, it’s a great tool to have for the job! Thanks for watching!
@@PaintSociety 80 is the redline. 180-220 is perfect. Adpro should still be used on bumpers. The SoCur is great too. Upfront cost is high but if you can save an hour of dry time and not have to clean up, the payoff will be realized in just a few days.
Yes! Not having to clean that primer
Gun is so worth it. So cur is great but you only can put a little, it dries like concrete. Just gotta know how to use the product. Looks like you know what you’re talking about. 👍👍👍
@@PaintSociety on the internet, we're all experts! Thanks for the videos. Subscribed last week. All great info!
I agree!!! Thank you for being positive !
Just a tip they say (at least glasurit say but I'm assuming it's the same rule) you shouldn't cure in-between coats as it's like putting a 2 PAC primer on bake then giving it another coat. Should be 1/2 coat wait 20 secs then full coat then cure. Then if you want more build to give it a scotch brite and repeat the process
I use the same line of paint an have the same setup. It’s a great tool to have for small jobs. You have to make sure you sand the edges good so that everything is flat I figured that out the hard way. Also have to still use plastic primer on the raw plastic before using the uv primer. They have it in a rattle can now as well. Like the videos 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! Yes I enjoy this tool in a pinch it works great.
I need this light
How much was tommy gun uv light
Where can one buy that specific uv primer?
Azko nobel
what brand sander is that??Thanks
Dynabrade
They want to go to UV primer at the dealership I work for... they haven’t approved it just yet cause I work for a corporation and all the bean counters need to show that it’s worth the cost..
I hear you. It has its place. Small stuff, it can really turn the cars to the booth much quicker. It’s a great investment. I bought the light myself as it is a personal tool.
