I just picked up a used Q4 SF with the Walther Dynamic Trigger upgrade and this pistol shoots fantastic and for the $1100 I paid for it, I am a happy camper. Great build quality and ergonomics.
Appreciated, I love your review/assessments. I am a Walther GmbH fan myself. I own 3 PDP models, including the PDP Pro SD, in addition to the PPQ M2 45. And yes, the Q4 can be carried concealed in an OWB holster easily. Well done, gorgeous! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🇦🇺😎👍Self defence is frowned upon down here on the prison island JJ. We aren’t allowed to use human shaped targets just so we don’t get any ideas… maximum 10 rd mags down here. . It’s for safety😉…Walther , that’s booodeeful JJ…never ever say shooting a bad guy down here otherwise you’ll loose your gun and you licence JJ. Strictly target shooting and never say da bad words or people are encouraged to dob you in . Great video JJ🏁
Another good Video Jenny J. I think it would work well for CARRY OPTIC division competition . The thing I did not like about the gun is it does not come with an optic plate. The plate for the optic you like must be ordered but it's free.
I have been wanting one of these they released a few years back, but wasn't willing to pay the $1,200+ price tag for an optics ready model. Just saw one priced at $899 a few months back and jumped on it. Boy, I'm glad I did! It is one of the softest recoiling 9mm pistols I own, and out of the box with the stock iron sights I was easily in the 10-Ring at 15 yards as long as I did my part. When I added my RDS of choice the groups tightened up even more. Trigger out of the box was good, but not as crisp as I expected it to be. However, after 1000+ rounds it's definitely improved so at least I'm my experience a break-in was needed. I hear folks stating this is designed as a carry weapon given its similar size dimensions to that of a Glock 19. However, the weight of this weapon is substantially more than a G19 so make sure you have a heavy-duty belt to support it. One little complaint would be magazine capacity. For a weapon this pricy, I think it should come with at least 17-18 round capacity mags at purchase (although there are many places to get extensions). Overall, for the price I got it for it's a great pistol!
It looks like it was fun to shoot! Don’t know if I’d carry it or not without ever having shot it myself, but you managed to make short work of the bad guys. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
@@JennyJ1911 in all seriousness though, I have a Q4 SF and it is very nice. It caused me to become a Walther convert. I bought a PPQ M2 recently and a PPS M2. Neither of those disappoint either. Will be getting 2 more Walthers out of layaway next week.
I'd like to see how it cycles with factory ammo. 2 failures is unacceptable. How far away were you from your targets? I'm sure it's otherwise a good gun although way overpriced in my opinion.
I bought mine for cheap. Thing looked brand new, but could tell a few rounds went through her. I only use factory ammo and although I have only put a little over 600 rounds through it, it has been flawless. Knowing how it handles and the craftsmanship that went into it. I would be willing to pay full price without hesitation.
EU handguns are designed to use NATO 9x19 Luger rounds that are equivalent to US 9x19 +P ones. So in theory some lighter loads may be insufficient for reliable action. I do not count rounds, but in more than 2 years of owning of a Q4 SF I have experienced not a single malfunction so far.
For $1400 there's other guns I'd pick. Honestly, my carry gun has been my P80c ever since I put the first 500 rounds through it. At this point I've probably got somewhere in the neighborhood of 5k rounds and I trust it implicitly
Got 5k or better through all my pistols except my 45 BBR. Jam fest. Tried everything short or a new barrel and at this point I’m rdy to sell it for 1-200

@@JennyJ1911 It is, beautiful you.
2,550 trouble free rounds with this gun and I've carrying it sinxe August.
OP keep your support hand 45 degrees down for better recoul control
You should try the Walther PDP. Specifically the F model.
I had talked to Walther at NRA about getting my hands on one through them and they kind of brushed me off...
I have the Walther Q4 and the PDP f Series. Both are great!
Great review. I own a Walther Q4. Great ergonomics, smooth trigger and easy to handle. In my opinion, it's the finest 9MM Semi Auto.

Question for OP. I read the recoil is not much less than the polymere version either way i shoot the polymere just fine
I carry a Walther PPS M2, great pistol
The Q4 SF started me on wanting more Walthers. PPS M2 is my most recent one, it is a great little gun.

I love Vaulters.....still undecided about people who use the pommel horse 🤔
Hahahah!!! Ohhhh, so bad it's good!!! 🤣

Great video . Amazing gun . Price is a bit much . I will stick with walther pdp compact .

I took my LTC with a barrowed PPQ

40 oz??? forget it. way way way too heavy to carry.
I think Q5 SF Pro is best along w/ PDP Compact for carry
