Just wanna say you’re a great interviewer. You know when to speak and let the guest talk. Not as easy as it looks and you seem to be natural at it. Keep it up bro. Love the vids too

In terms of acting chops, Furio was easily one of the top three best Sopranos characters on the show. In fact, 14 years after the final season, I guarantee there are _STILL_ some Sopranos fans, and even non-fans, who think Federico Castellucio, the actor who played Furio, was a genuine "off-the-boat" Italian with poor English and a strong accent lol.
I thought he was an actor from Italy, maybe someone from Italian cinema who had guest starred on the Sopranos.

Great interview on both sides! 👏👍
This format or approach to "interviews" Is so much better than what we've had for way too long!
I'd much rather listen to a couple people talking freely for an hour or two than the choppy fake five minutes of BS that the regular late night or daytime talk shows do. (But watching old Dick Cavett episodes is one of my few exceptions.
He had so many great guests & interviews!)
Imagine listening to Brendan Schaub lmao

You must have watched a different video. He interrupted him constantly.
moncorp1 Inc Do you understand turn taking in conversations? From everything I saw he doesn’t draw away from anything he says or go on huge tangents. He merely adds to what the guest has to say and gives him a springboard to lead into his next anecdote or point, sign of a good listener without over contributing.

This guy is class and I really enjoyed the interview...you can tell he is very intelligent in addition to being talented.

Man what a show. Not just creatively and in its technical execution, which was groundbreaking in its time, but in how the cast truly organically became a family. You can't pull performances off like this cast did without a sense of real stakes, of real camaraderie. It shows in every interview with a cast member that came afterwards.
This guy is such a good storyteller that I was in suspense over whether he would get the part or not.
Holy shit! The best interview I’ve seen of him. You should get more of these guys on your podcast man. I was on the edge of my seat listening to his casting story 👍

So I've been listening to the heap of Sopranos podcasts that suddenly seem to be out there and I have to say this guy is definitely the best. You'd think the ones hosted by the actors on the show would be but this guy asks intelligent questions but most importantly he just listens. Really nice to just be able to hear the guest talk, a skill I wish more interviewers had. Great stuff mate.
What a great interview. Thoroughly enjoyed. Perfetto!
This was so good, dude is very likeable. He has a lot of passion for what he does, and he's very good at it. I'm not Italian, but I grew up in Jersey surrounded by them back in the 60's 70's and 80's.
Absolutely phenomenal!!! What a tremendous interview and even better life story on getting the Furio part.
So fascinating, this is brilliant!
The UA-cam alogirthm is crazy good. I watched Gavin McInnes podcast yesterday. They mentioned how that Furio actor lost work because his Italian accent was so good, he lost work because directors/producers didn't want someone who couldn't speak American english without an accent. I was thinking about how interesting that was. Then like UA-cam could read my mind, this podcast was recommended to me.

I gotta say, fantastic interview! I wish Pete Show more great future interviews and I can absolutely see Casteluccio up on the big screen some day (SOON!) I hope!
He's so good! The whole time he's talking about auditioning for Furio I'M getting nervous! Worried that he's not gonna get the part, even though we all know, he obviously got the part. But, he's that good of a story teller! I too, wondered which accent is his "native" one. Love this guy!
midway through this interview, I decided to go back and watch the "Furio collects" scene. Right before he goes into the message parlor and Tony's prepping him on what to do, Furio has this friggin psychotic glare and clenches his jaw while repeating "it's not only Dominick who's the problem, it's the wife too"...Just his delivery on that one line is chilling.
