When it comes to aging Alex Jones for example is the polar opposite of AJ and Meadow. Alex Jones is only 49 years old and he already looks old enough to be Robert Iler and Jamie Lynn Sigler's dad.
This makes me want to go back and rewatch the entire series for the 5th time. The Sopranos is hands down, the best ever and thank you both for your terrific work!
I watch the Sopranos and other series at least once a year. The Wire, Deadwood, Vinyl, The Deuce, Entourage, Curb, the Shield, SOA, BCS, BB, Southland, ER, are some others I watch yearly. It is comforting.
Oh man no way, there are so many good shows right now. Insecure, Fleabag, Lessons in Chemistry, Bodyguard, The Crown. Chernobyl, Maid… the list goes on. The Sopranos defined the serial genre, but there are some fantastic creators making great shows.
I remember helping my mom clean a client's house down at the lake and during the latter part of the cleaning, we took a break to eat. I was only 14 at the time and the client was a family friend. Client told us to make ourselves at home, order a movie or TV on demand. Eat anywhere we wanted, watch whatever we wanted. Every week, we'd watch two episodes of Sopranos together during and after our cleaning/meals. To this day, it's still some of my favorite memories with my mom. Lake shining through the window, food hot and tasty, cracking up with my mom or despairing at what happened on TV. Some of the best moments of my life was watching this show with my mom. Jamie-Lynn and Rob? Thank you. It's a thing I could never even dream of repaying. You guys gave me and my mother memories. Great memories.
I used to write and ask for autographs when I was a young man. I wrote to Jamie a couple times and got a hand written response BOTH times. She is a sweetheart
Legendary show. Best ever. Yesterday, I rewatched the full cuts of Tony's relationship with Uncle Junior. Pure love there like father and son. Fan from Wairarapa, New Zealand.
This gave me the warmest feeling seeing you guys together again just like a real brother and sister. Very well presented. Lots of fond memories from the show.
I was born 98 and ive seen the show for over 10-20 times already and i still cant get enough. anyone familiar? im sure alot. thanks Jamie and Rob you two were part of the best Show ever! And a big part !
it’s my favorite show i always stop myself from bringing it up. i was born in 2000 im very interested in what was going on around the years i was born. it’s introduced me to good music and other movies either referenced or played by the same actors too i always get enriched from it somehow
Wow a wedding episode with Meadow would have been amazing. One of my fav moments on the entire show was when Gandolfini looked at meadow at Johnny Sacs daughter’s wedding when he’s dancing with his daughter. Incredible scene. Also the funeral when he looks at AJ too. James was so brilliant. One of a kind
The Sopranos is such a heavy show, its difficult to rewatch it regularly. I rewatch it once every 2-3 years. It still stands the test of time, an amazing achievement. James is missed by us all, but I'm glad to see these two looking so well.
Just finished watching the show for the first time, needless to say, it was amazing the writing the actors the whole vibe that came with it... Crazy to think most of my favorite TV Shows became a thing because of The Sopranos. It's also great to see Jamie and Rob still doing this podcast together, and it's nice to see all of the other interviews they did, they look great. Reading about some of the actors, too many to name them all but, James Gandolfini who died at the age of just 51 makes me sad... What a great performance he had for the show. Edith Falco was perfectly casted, Tony Sirico looked like a lovely man off-screen, Steven Van Zandt (a little unexpected, lol), and not to forget... Michael Imperioli, when I look at this face, somehow I still see the young kid in him. There is obviously much more to say but you all know how special the series is. Thanks for such an amazing show!
GREAT Pod... Thank you, Jamie and Robert, thank you, HBO... *Love you, miss you, James* ❤ I'm now going to spend this weekend rewatching the series for the 5th time... 😎👍
Jamie and Rob have such good chemistry and a phenomenal dynamic. It’s great to see that they’re still just like siblings after all these years. Rob is just like James was with Tony, he is AJ Soprano.
I'm glad Robert mentioned all the band shirts he wore haha - I distinctly remember AJ wearing Pantera and Coal Chamber shirts, I'm sure there were more!
The connection between these 2 is really the greatest you can see how much they were affected by James being in their life and all the other actors and how it wasn’t just a job it was like a family and James was caring and loving like a real dad. So happy to see these 2 still hanging out and reminiscing!
You guys are everything I only have HBO AS A SUBSCRIPTION because of sapranos; my entire household watches this show to this day, and I mean daily we have it on rotation ❤️❤️❤️❤️ HAPPY 25th you guys are everything!!!!!!!!!!!!
I watched it for the first time 2 years ago and fully re-watched it once. This tops all my favorite shows: The Wire, Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and Suits.
I just finished watching The Sopranos for the first time. Watched the finale last night! So it's very comforting to see that you two are still close and to hear you reminisce fondly about your experiences on the show together. It's exactly what i needed to help me process it all :)

Happy 25th 🎉 irreplaceable classic The Sopranos will always be the best series ever made imo I have so many fond memories from those days looking forward every new episode.
The guy that played agent harris i remember him as trask on all my children. A great actor! I was not surprised he was cast in this show but am very surprised he wasnt cast as a hitman bc his soap opera character had a tough edge to him. Again great actor!
One grows weary repeating just how great the show was/is..but TV will never again reach the high water mark set by The Sopranos. And Robert Iler needs to get back into acting..ignoring your gift is unforgivable..and he is a very gifted young man. (just keep him away from the pool..)
Just watched the show for the first time and finished it over the past month and I have to say it really blew me away with how amazing it was. It turns out my mom wasn't lying to me lol. Best wishes to all the cast and RIP James Gandolfini and Tony Sirico
I could totally see Meadow returning as boss. She was around longer, so she soaked up more Tony. "The fact that you would say this in front of an outsider is amazing to me. Jesus Christ, some loyalty?"

These two look exactly like they did when the show ended lol. They’ve both taken great care of themselves.

I'm on my 5th (or 6th?) watch thru right now. Still loving it.
TV will never be as good as The Sopranos. It was one of the first no restrictions production of an exceptionally well written, cast and produced show.
Yup there's an excess of series now on streaming services but they are all so cliche and similar.
It reached a golden peak between The Sopranos and the Mad Men / Breaking Bad time. AMC caught lightning in a bottle during that time
