Hmm, you're the first guy to advocate daggers over swords. I'm personally not sure, but at this point right now, I haven't found swords with greater DPS than daggers, so I'm running two daggers. Then again, most rogue players do twisting blades whereas I fell in love with flurry right off the bat. Great insights into your build though, as you're way ahead of me -- I'm only level 62.
Think this is an awesoke guide. One thing i will disagree with is taking dagfers. I use the unique dagger of course, but other hand is sword. The extra crit damage is pretty good and works with most rogue builds as well. Close damage os good but just would rather have the extra crot since we wre always going to crit. Oh yeah, taking crit damage is not bad at all. My reasoning was that taking close damage still buffs your crit damage, on top of buffing non-crit damage. Picking up a good sword is very much viable regardless.
Interesting build just curious about running double imbuements do they stack or can you only use one at a time and or do you use one just for the passives?
Cold imbuement is great for several things. It's a good damage buff against chilled and frozen enemies, which means it's great for pvp and for pve, minus bosses and unstoppable enemies. It's also a good defensive ability because of frozen. Poison is mandatory for taking less damage and dealing additional damage, even against bosses. If you mean also using shadow, flurry in itself already has good aoe and I can't really afford to swap other abilities for it anyway. Keep in mind this build is meant to be a jack of all trades. I think it's the weakest against bosses, but fortunately they are very easy in D4, minus uber lilith of course. The best choice for absolute destruction as a melee rogue is Twisting Blades. It has a much higher base damage value than flurry. I hope this clarifies things.

I poison imbue then dash a crowd, flurry, then cold imbue, flurry,flurry. With the unique ice boots... They usually freeze from the boots and dash. I also spec cold imbue to do more DMG to frozen.
@@kakusei3672 I actually did try that aspect out but ended up working better in theory over practice. Few things. The added damage only occurs when enemies are frozen. Anything that is unstoppable cannot be frozen, so it's a dead aspect in both those scenarios, which is most of the time. Also I have to swap it for something else. It can only be placed on amulet, helm, chest or gloves. Not swapping it for disobedience on amulet. Too strong. I need all the defensive aspects for good survivability. Only slot that makes sense is the gloves. I need that aspect though so it goes on a ring in exchange for an aspect that is buffing my damage, all of it, not just poison, way more frequently as well and can be applied on all. I hope this helps to clarify.

Run a dagger and a sword, simple.

i like the ice rogue, would this flurry build be viable for levelling upto 50? i may have a play with it.

Why not utilize noxious ice aspec?
