Good to know.. I will get one soon. By the way, I went to the dealer this morning, described the steering problem of having to constantly move the steering wheel to keep the Jeep between the lines. I told them I had info that if they would flash it that would fix the problem. They did and on the way home (only 5 miles) it did feel better. We’ll see if it is really better when I have the chance to drive it more. Thanks....
What did you tell them to flash? I am about to buy a 2018 Rubicon and told the dealership about the "wandering " rumors going around with the new JLs and told them it is a new flash that can fix it. They had no idea what I was talking about..
WTF SoCal , gotcha. Ya I told my salesman that their was some kinda of PCM flash for the JLs that helped the calibration of the electric motor assist ratio which contributes to the wrangler "wandering" issues and they had no clue what I was talking about . Kinda sucks
he was a salesman... nothing shocking there. you need to bring up that issue with a service manager. and when they play dumb, bury them in statistics, dates, service advisory names and version numbers... might help
I mean you have a backup camera you can use for the trailer thing. I also had this issue when I had my seat belt unbuckled but could never ever duplicate the issue using belt except for when the door is open.
Well I have finally decided to order one for my JL as I have my halos disabled and I don't like not having a simple option disabled with no help in getting it enabled.
Engine must be running since it's a "live" feature. Navigate to "AP KILL" and make sure it's turned "on". There are many people reporting that it doesn't work on their particular JL and nobody has figured out why.
My gladiator didn't come with the 4 Aux switches. If I install them will I be able to flash the computer with the Tazer to make them work or will I have to have this done at the dealership?
Do you have to leave the Tazer connected for this to work, I remember hearing some features only work if it remains connected to the OBD 2 Port. Do you know if SC will be making this update on their programmer, anything in the rumor mill there?
Yes, AutoPark disable is a "live" feature so the Tazer has to be plugged in for this feature. SuperChips already has this feature, but in the case of both programmers it seems to be somewhat hit and miss as to whether it'll work or not. It doesn't work for 100% of JL Wranglers and the guys at these companies can't figure out why.
The door chime when engine is off: also annoying. Thanks for the vid.

the PCM in the vehicle. by flash we are referring to update the software that controls the computer in the jeep

How did you fix the “key not on” message ?
I have the same issue. How do I get one?
Can you turn your door alarm off? Figured you might need that option.
CLOSE your door!
Can you tell us what setting it was under? What did you change to get it to turn off ?

@@4-LOW oh ok. Thanks
Have to reboot to get the changes to take.
Did you unmarry your Tazer before upgrading the firmware?
What year is your Jeep? The firmware 11.05 is no longer available on their website and I have a 2020 Gladiator I'm trying to fix.
I need to get me one ! thanks for the update... new sub
