This album has added a layer to his live sets... he could tour just his solo stuff now and you'd not be too disappointed he didn't play an oasis tune... bravo sir

How can you say that his set at the Etihad had 12 oasis songs in it and 10 solo songs as much as I love Liam his solo stuff is nowhere near good enough for him to just do that material the Oasis classics bulk out his set MASSIVELY just like they do Noels

@@miamilan Autotune isn't a correct all button you push. Certainly the album has it applied but I'm just as confident LG could sing this song just as well anyway. See his demo "Eh La" for reference.

While I much agree, tone down the sycophanty buddy. The songs kick ass because Liam makes sure they do, you kind of make it sound like "it just happens randomly".

@@oasis4ever718 Perhaps you're right. The way I feel is Liam's music develops into something better even if it always has been really good. But this tune is a typical retro-ish "step back" one, not only that, it's distinctively not his own sound and everyone can hear whose sound it is.

Cant believe this is what liam has become! He needs to do a rock n roll album
He is on his fifth album since Oasis (Dig Out Your Soul) and I can count the rockers on one hand just like the post Oasis albums themselves if we ignore a few ones not penned by him.
He seems to allow one or two stadium rock pieces per album just to promote it and play it for a large arena, only to sneak in these soft sentimental retro tunes by numbers and filling the CD with them because that's what he really wants to play. This is con artistry. It's not just "not good enough", he's promoting an Oasis/Beatles cover band with a couple of commercial pop songs just to put up the image of having something to play.
Glad someone sees it to! Keeps saying "I want to do a Stooges like album" and has rock n roll on the drums and it's not rock n roll not even close,it's middle of the road and his voice sounds horrible now, and he used to be my hero , defended him to anyone but you can't defend this, Elton John wouldn't do a song like this! He's turned into an embarrassment in my eyes and the new young fans that liked the supersonic film and saw Liam looking cool will one day realise it's all about noel

I'm talking about letting his listeners down but as you can see in the comment sections, the majority are empty-headed bootlickers who think it's all about John Lennon while praising Liam as a person. It's like a sick, twisted hypocritical sycophant cult. Nothing of it has to do with Oasis which is my problem. I don't understand how these people are wired in their heads. They're not listening to music they're pathological sheep to some idol worshipping (ironically I wear a username pointing that out).
