It was a real privilege to conduct my choristers for this recording. So happy that it’s turned out even better than I remember! The ''I'll admit that I was angry for too long'' line hits deep. I've spent much of my youth angry and bitter towards many people and myself, only in recent times I've been able to forgive myself and others so I can be at peace. It's hard and it'll take a long time, but it's possible to heal from all that.
I just wonder if Liam will ever write a song where he doesn't apologize for something.

I love the fact that the song starts as something very innocent and new and when we get to the "this is what you came for" part, it sounds so much like Oasis, complete with 'oh yeah' and the guitars. An absolute belter!
Doesn't sound like oasis the song would have been 7 minutes too long. That's why this album is good short and sweet songs most of thr time.
I'll admit that I wasn't too keen on this at first. My dad passed away a while back and I've always had trouble grieving in general. When I hear the 'Father, father, I see so many things now that you're gone' gets me every time now and makes me well up.
Thank you Liam for this track as I love it now. Has a wonderful meaning that brings back loads of memories. Feels good to cry a little for once too.

It is definitely Liam's best album, the most experimental, daring, and at the same time relaxed. "IM FREE" is a spectacular song and MORE POWER is just beautiful
I'm a big gallagher fan. But he could release anything and you guys would say its the best, at this point. My opinion only: I cant get into this

Seen Liam live in Belfast last night with my best friend, I love a bit of oasis and have heard a few of Liams solo songs but never fully invested in his solo albums. Last night was the first time I had ever heard this song and it was one of my favourite parts of the whole gig. It was magical! 15,000+ people at an outdoor gig, it rained for 75% of the show, no one caring they were getting soaked and just living in the moment. The build up and atmosphere of this song live is something really special 😁❤️

The only other time a song has managed to make me shed a tear was “see you again” when I heard it in the cinema all the way back in 2015.
This song really hit me hard when I first put my CD in and listened to it for the first time I had to pause and have a quiet moment to myself. Given my own personal experiences last year the second verse was like a knife going through my heart
