What you are saying is not correct though...you can arrange the winwing MIP components with correct relations to one another. All with just the default clamps. But they had it wrong on some of their own pictures, true... But yeah...nice add-on...
@@SDsc0rch UFC is standard winging, so that's the distance that you have. We are designing a stand for the UFC so it is close to the pilot, but not in this version.
I must question what really is the purpose then of using a VR headset with all the real panel switches because it would appear nothing is displayed on the DDI’s but only in the VR image? You could save a bunch of money by deleting the VR and using the cockpit as a cockpit! I have a full cockpit with side panels, engine and fuel instruments, warning & caution panels that supplement the WinWing MIP and all work like in the real aircraft ( I know because I used to fly the real thing!) Panels not in the MIP, I acquired from TEK Creations.
@@jabs767 We love the VR and the cockpit. I think it's more of a personal favorite. I will never go back to a flat screen and a cockpit like that, and it really works great with VR and all the buttons in front of you. You need to adapt in the beginning, but when the muscle memory kicks in, it’s really great.
The purpose of using this in VR, would be that you get the tactile feel of pressing buttons, while still having the immersion of VR. I would much rather have this in VR, rather than use a mouse or a VR controller. What I would really want, would be a 1-1 cockpit, but the screens don't need to have displays, nothing would really need to light up, because you would see everything in VR.
@@thebluemonkey-xn4el Yes, that's the point of this product. We make the lights work because there are people that use it with a flat screen as well. But with this add-on, everything is in the right spot where it's supposed to be from VR to real-life buttons to push. Thanks for your feedback.
OK, cool, I will wait as I do want to be able to carry on using the F16 ICP with my MIP. I hope it’s not too long before you offer the altered product!
@@markturner6091. Yes, so the switches work and you can set them up in-game. The lights are working but not with the feedback out of the game. You can make it work with DCS BIOS.
This is amazing! So do you have a function with mixed reality that you can see where your hands go for the buttons on the cockpit?
