Damn, how he just anxiously stands there and wipes the floor. I think he’s a little embarrassed with all the mistakes he’s made. Poor guy.
Only he knows how much stress he is in.
Really? You love it? What's wrong with you?
Yet I believe he’s way braver and smarter than you with all the experiences he got.
I came to the comment section for this comment xD
Those were probably just edited in from other parts of the conversation.
Think twice before insulting this man. We can only imagine what the stress of running this business and feeding his family does to his sleep and health. Genuinely hope he makes it
This is shark tank they have to be kinda tuff on people sometimes.
Guy was a f n CREEP are you good!!
@@HondaTrumpAi how?
True we are all human, we committ mistake
Indeed, he look so stress.
Lori reached out after the episode and offered to help sell it on QVC despite not investing. Found one report saying they make $7 million in sales annually, but it also said the net worth was just over a million in 2021, so believe what you want, but it seems he’s finding some success after shark tank.
That's good that he's doing well. God bless him he needs it.
I love u
That doesn't exactly mean he's doing well. He made $0 profit, lost $2M, and accumulated $250k of debt while having $3M in sales
Lol net worth is never an accurate indicator of actual wealth..
Who cares. We got bigger problems in America lol
He’s a very good man, he lacks communication skills but really seems like a nice person who just needs guidance. I’m sorry for what you been through Evan, and i hope you succeed.
You're clearly the opposite of strong.
@@HondaTrumpAi yeh whatever you say buddy
Y’all wanna root for someone but can’t even get their name right 💀
“I’m sorry for all you’ve been through Eben and instead of calling you by your name I’ll just make up a similar one okay? Thanks”
He lacks numbers how much you need and how much you're selling
This pitch was really moving. I need the temperament of this man. He did not show any anger/defense in his face. He only showed respect and genuinely wanted guidance.
Good guys finish last
Respect?, idk about that. Dude looked like he was mega stressed out, and pretty much ashamed to say all the mistakes and debt he’s on. That guy needs a mega life line.
He is a failure, what are you talking about?? Are you blind??? 😂
Yes! Respect for how he was holding himself in this stressful situation. You can see stress and fear is shaking him, but he never responded negatively to bad reactions and even bad words. Respect!!
@@silentsage2462 there's a lot to learn from failure too
I like the way he’s Wisping the floor, you know he truly believes in he’s product
Even during the talks he just takes it and starts sweeping the floor
Yeah, it seems like a passion project and that he really believes in the product. I can understand how he was hesitant to give away 50% when he doesn't even fully own the other 50.
No he's just got problems
@@HondaTrumpAi dont we all lol
Maybe he like thinking with sweep the floor. LoL
This is why Lori is the greatest shark. She's an incredible business woman she knows she can't invest in this but she called this man after the show and got him in QVC and on her own holiday show. When you hear stories of the behind the scenes of other sharks daymond has been accused of stealing from people he made a deal with, and Kevin with the whole ftx or whatever scam he endorsed. Lori is heart and class and a fantastic role model!
Yeah, she saved WISP honestly. When i first watched this in 2018, i already knew that this business will be flourished soon or later, it was just his poor decisions that destroyed the company
You can tell Lori felt sick by the look on her face when Kevin and Barbara were arguing. So glad she reached out to help this man after the show.
Really? She gets a plus in my book.. Helping strugeling companies is one way to keep learning and stay in touch with the market.
Yes,found the article that said that she helped spread the word without any financial deal. She is so nice.
@@sargampareek2774 I don’t believe anyone would want to invest in a company with liabilities, correct me if I’m wrong. Legally no investment is in her best interest.
Lori is one of those rare sharks who understands the emotional aspects of the entrepreneurs. She's made deals out of passion so many times on the show.
@@invertedaura1986 ahh so no financial investment just helping out (reread the last comment) . Big respect to Lori

Insider growth reports:
Although Dobson didn’t get a deal on Shark Tank, after the show, Wisp reports getting a call from Lori Greiner, who set up a relationship with Wisp via QVC to sell the products.
Greiner personally endorsed the product.
Love Lori!!!
QVC isn’t the be all and end all. It can destroy small businesses because they place huge orders to meet QVC‘s demand, and then if QVC doesn’t put the product on air in a good time slot, and it sells slower than they like because of it, they threaten to return the whole order to the small biz…unless you give them a bigger cut on each sale. Then they still return a ton to the vender. It’s a huge gamble for little guys.
@@lch9725 Its better than nothing especially for products that need demos like this.
honestly although it is true and i have no doubt qvc engages in predatory practices like you described, in this instance there is no downside since he already has a 350k value inventory (10+k wisps) and can adapt consequent production accordingly. She probably saved his buisiness while making a bunch of money for herself, everybody wins. I hope he hires a buisiness person for the company tho, he badly needs it for the long run
Respect for Lori went through the roof
Broooo I thought I was is a bad situation in life but this guy being in this situation and still able to speak and be confident he has gave me strength to be smiling.
🇺🇸😇 This is what you call a “truly built entrepreneurship” and from his 6 years prior he has learned to be one of the most honest businessmen to this day.
Literally the George Washington of entrepreneurs, he cut the cherry tree with these sharks and got a mother like Lori to direct him into more eased business to continue maintaining not only the product but thankfully a happy life for his family.
I’m proud of America, and most definitely proud for how far someone like him can grow in such a rigid country.
*bwahahah* I kind of made it sound like Lori married him in that rant 😆🤣
I’ll just leave that in, and say; Lori helped direct him into becoming one of the best entrepreneurs to come on the show after the episode ended.
This is what some of the sharks look for, someone hardworking to find the money necessary to uphold life at its’ standards. It’s harsh, but we all pay our own prices whether from sweat & tears getting there or simply from money.
His journey to get this far is beyond the worth or money, his intelligence towards business will be beyond excellent in just 5-10 years for sure. 🦮🙏
I felt bad for the guy. After reading the comments I’m glad to see he’s doing better
I expected to read he jumped off a bridge some time after the show.
Same
He seems like a good person that really believes in his product and just needs guidance when making business decisions. Hope the best for him though !
This was brutal to watch.
So many entrepreneurs come on to shark tank way too early and have irrational valuations, this guy is the opposite. If he had come on four years earlier he would be in such vastly better shape. It's just an unfortunate situation.
I think what most people dont understand is that he got SCAMMED. The reason he air quoted "marketing" is because a lot of scam marketing firm will contact you, make crazy promises, but in their fine print they say "result not gaurunteed". Fair enough, and then they do the bare minimum or nothing at all. He got taken for a ride by marketing and sale people when he should had done it himself.
If you're throwing money at a business and think that will solve all your problems, you're doing something wrong. He should had done everything himself. Lean and mean is the ideal start for al
His forthrightness and openess about his mistakes are such commendable things to see in a businessman!
except for when it's the core of the pitch
damn, i feel like crying for this man, im like near to tears. I hope he gets success soon, best wishes to him. Kinda wanna hug him, he looks so damn stress
That's nice of you but I think he's doing ok now.
After a great sales pitch, almost every minute he drops a new bit of bad news on them... Like it keeps getting worse and worse... I hope he gets his business in order and becomes successful
Business is a tough battleground. Its difficult to make decisions at times, but you got to make them. That's what makes you an entrepreneur. The man knows his stuff and is humble enough to admit his mistakes. His courage is commendable and lets hope he finds the right partner to execute his plans!
the fact that he kept sweeping killed me🤣
You can tell buddy was nervous 😭 he heard 50% and said okay lemme sweep about it 😂

Still Kevin was the only one who gave him an offer
He knew this company had potential, so tried to demoralize the owner into giving him the 50%.
@@nsaurabh25 his company was in debt and somehow losing 600 thousand dollars while selling millions. He was making a lot of mistakes and the sales didn’t help and 500,000 is a lot of money and 50 percent is a fair offer. Kevin was in right to go out because he was the only one willing to put money and he was trying to talk to lory. Sure it’s tough but that’s how it is
Barbara: You’re not good at making decisions and neither am I, so I’m out.
I feel bad for him, i would probably do the same mistakes or worse if i was in his shoes, i hope he succeeds! great product im buying one for myself!
Rules of business don't take too much money from many investors who can not help growing the business.
This is one of those rare episodes that I feel bad after they make so many mistakes. Poor guy seems genuine. I really hope he made it
“I don’t like losing $500,000, I don’t do that. Ever”

@@Editnamehere luck did. have a role but if he were to start over he would easily be making millions. The only real luck that happend is when he sold his software company for 4 billion dollars right before they ended up ending it. If this “lucky” moment didn’t happen then sure he may have been who he is today. Or he would figure it out and be the same. Point is he would easily be a multi millionaire but in terms of a billionaire that was a lot of luck
He's not a businessman and he knew he had this coming. So sad he had to incur so much debt to push for a product he believes in. But he's a product guy, and not many people can do that, so glad he had success after this.
I read an article which claimed that its now worth 14 million dollars in 2022, after the show lori herself reached out to him and got him a deal with qvc, she personally endorsed it and it looks that he is finally making good profits. Its not clear though if she actually made a deal or got royalty for endorsement after the show but company is definitely in doing good now.
That makes me so relieved! I'm going to buy one of these. I hope he does well in life!
Thank you for the update
lori always seems to do right by people who actually have great products
Lori is forever the goat of shark tank
Omg thanks for this update!!! I felt so bad for him, I almost shred a tear😢, he clearly needed mentorship and a lot of help, but I was happy he owned up to his mistakes. I hated how Kevin burned him like that at the end, but I understand how business works. Thank goodness for Lori…
I love everyone Mark does the “OOOOOO 😮😬” reaction 😂😂
Barbara's right that it was too tough for that entrepreneur. Sharks already knew that he was a bad CEO and it was evident he was not quick to think. Kevin knew that by asking 50% so he can have control of the company because this guy cant be
Poor guy was very old fashioned and had no skills to tackle new age VCs much less someone like the Sharks especially O'Leary who is known for being very blunt
the sharks are not VCs, and I would not call them new age when all of them are wrinkled... lol
Poor guy. You can see him sweeping his hopes and dreams away while they were grilling him. 😭

Not taking Kevin’s deal is a blessing in disguise.
The way he was wisping during the whole conversation 🤣💀

His flip flopping at the end just demonstrated the problem he has.
Hope he's getting the help he needs, he really seems to be a great guy, but some skills are missing. My heart goes out for him.

He came on the show for help!
The Sharks are telling him what he needs to do, and they forgot they're the ones who can help him!
Mr. Wonderful wants half his business, and when he asks about Lori helping, Mr. Wonderful is cruel to him!
I'm sure the Sharks made mistakes at one time or another when they started out with their businesses.

I'm definitely a buyer of the product and so should a good percentage of the people that watched this if you can afford it buy it. It's a great product
This one hurt to watch I feel bad for this man anxiously sweeping. I'm glad the deal didn't go through I could only imagine how much of the company he'd have left after giving away %50 on top of what he's given to the other 22 investors
Normally i would agree but this guy doesn’t know how to make a profitable company despite having a good product. He can have 1/2 a profitable company or all of one that doesn’t make money.
Everyone go and buy a broom from this man!!!
It's not a broom. It's a Wisp. Weren't you listening? ; )
I will buy a WISP if I see one in a store. Love this guy. Glad he is doing better now!
We learn by making mistakes. I have so much respect for Eben. I truly wish him the best.
I feel for this guy been in his shoe even his display for his product seem genuinely simple. A man trying to hold his dream and life saving together.
Lori was gonna make him an offer, until that is he said "I have 22 investors". That's something no want wants to get entangled in. Only Mr Wonderful has the guts to even make an offer but again, the guy was looking for someone who will market his product, not just give him a handout.
Good on him for his raw honesty and transparency.
He blew through $2.1 million, he's $250,000 in debt, he's got 22 investors that probably haven't seen a profit on their investment. He's a good honest man, he just made so many financial mistakes.
Absolutely, could have dealt with this man better. He clearly have a good heart, and willingness, he needs guidance and mentorship.
May God bless this man. Some people just make mistakes more often than others. He needs to retrain himself in decision making.
When he started sweaping the floor I almost died 😂😂😂 he didn't know what to do with his broom 😂😂😂
I don't get how Barbara said Kevin was too mean when she said to the guy that he gets a A for effort but F for execution before going out.
She never gave him hope to begin with. Kevin did and backed out. The guy will be regretful for not taking the offer in the first place, while for Barbara he won't feel anything for.
Kevin's action was a lot more harsh.
He is the man. Honest and respect ...what a amazing human he is
I read up on this and it states that although he didn't get the deal his company is now worth 14 million dollars. Lori called him after and got him on QVC. She kept her word and hopefully was rewarded for her efforts. I commend her on standing on her word.
That guy needs a hug 🫂
I hope he doesn’t feel humiliated I need him to know he’s an inspiration and this episode taught me where I went wrong I. My own business this isn’t them judging this is them being so generous with their knowledge unfortunately the truth hurts but it’s needed and I gained respect for them all.
8:27 I love how at rock bottom of the pitch, while investors are about to faint, the guy just starts wiping the floor.

The WISP net worth is $14 Million and they’re pulling in a whopping $7 Million in annual revenue.
In 2023
Happy to hear.. 👍 happy for that guy too👍
I almost shed tears when he started sweeping to calm himself. Kevin was so unfair to him with his offer.
😭
Was it unfair though? If Kevin's doing all the business side and restructuring, a 50/50 partner makes sense.
This is the most brutal pitch I've ever seen.
i don't understand how lori thinks 250k of debt over six years is insurmountable. this has a licensing written all over it. shut down the company, give the employees some convertible notes and license the FOUR PATENTS you have to the thousands of broom makers out there. or better yet, sit on the patent, and sue anyone who makes a similar product .
I love how the music cue for a deal being accepted started playing but then went back to tension and stingers when Kevin sat down. Great move editors XD
It really wasn't fair to him at the end, Lori kept butting in and giving some sort of last word like she was still interested to work with Kevin and Kevin would feed into it. The guy was just trying to see if there was a real chance with that since they kept bringing it up. Just unfortunate
Lori kind of confused him when she offered to help yet not investing, which is not really common, so I guess he just wanted clarification on that. However, I'm sure the deal wouldn't have been able to go through with all his investors.
He started sweeping the floor during his conversations. I feel his pain of disappointment LOL
This guy look defeated before opening his mouth. This is one of the better products I've seen and hope this man finds a good partner and success.
Man, Kevin was wrong for burying this guy like that. He clearly is struggling
I agree, but 4 sharks were out and Kevin was literally the only one left to save him and it’s all Evan’s fault. Kevin didn’t have to save him. He should be grateful. Plus the guy lacked the sense of reading the room. The don’t lose her number comment was dumb and annoyed him and him even saying “but” in the first place was so dumb. He should have just said yes and shake Kevin’s hand.
Its a really good product. I wish the other part can be attached to the broom in some sense where you can pick it up and dump the debries in the trash without leaning in. If this product exist then I will start sweeping my floor.
Such a honest businessman

This is a good lesson for all entrepreneurs - know your weaknesses.

Yup
That's why you always need complimentary business associates. You always need a Steve Jobs to compliment a Steve Wozniak
Man I feel so bad for him he’s genuinely asking for help
Such a nice man Evan. Hope you are doing better.
Glad to read that Lori reached out to him and helped.
This was not the best demonstration of Shark Tank, these sharks say they want to support people who genuinely need help, but when someone who genuinely needs and is asking for help, they are all out!
It was kinda wrong for Lori to jump in when she knew that she wasn’t gonna invest any money. If she knew that, why muddy the waters?
I think she would get commision for each sold product. The wisp was selling pretty good, but owner was burning through money, so Kevin wanted to give him cash for company to survive, while having enough decision power to take company out of the dump. Lori tried to jump into this, because she'd get paid without any risk involved for her and Kevin would be the one who has to risk his money and fix company.
Exactly, not enough people are noticing that Lori sunk the deal by butting in. Evan agreed to the deal and Lori had to say something and disrupt it.
He starts stressful sweeping the floor, I couldve cried
11:12 THANK YOU KEVIN 💯🏆 exactlyyyy
Since everyone seems to feel bad for him, go buy his brooms and help him out..
The Sharks: I won’t invest but I’ll tell my home manager to get one for my cleaning ladies.
He is very passionate regardless of his mistakes, and in the end he managed to learn from his previous mistakes and now the company has a revenue of 7 million dollars a year and has also introduced some new products.
Lesson: “Never give up in any situation, you will eventually succeed”
He told him to get out of here. Take the broom🤣🤣I didn't want to laugh at that, but I couldn't help it
