I would recommend changing one to Asgarnia or maybe tirannwn because you’re gonna be hurting a lot for gear upgrades otherwise to do raids. You could go to ToA in some mad budget stuff, especially with relics but for melee, your bis would be obsidian armour, range you would have to go from hides to masori, and magic being pretty much only thralls and ancients. You miss out on smaller things like dboots, which can later turn into prims with Asgarnia. Even void is a potential grab if you can find some people to do it with. Morytania would be the swap imo but it’s all up to you and how you want to experience the game
I have never played a league before but im excited to play this one and your video has just me want to play even more. Booking time off work it when we find out the release dates

Thank you for the credit! Just an FYI, I’ve heavily updated the image and it’s up to version 9 as of now. You can find it from my comment in that post or the resources chat of the Leagues disc
Feels like the region choices this time are so much more difficult than last league. It's like they spread their updates around just so future leagues didn't force players into the same 2-3 regions. I think this time i'll be saving my choices until I've done a fair bit of research into the relics and know which combat style i'm maining.
-Slayer master levels/skipping are irrelevant, all slayer masters have the same monster table (which grows with each region unlock) -Ancient wyvern shield can be crafted in Misthalin alone as slayer masters sell elemental shields -Lithkren is only accessible after unlocking Fremmy - which makes dragon crossbow a Fremmy drop. -You can get a d pick from volcanic mine in Misthalin but this requires asgarnia to repair -Surprised you didn't mention giants foundry or blackjacking as excellent training methods in the desert -Chaos elly can be good for the pet drop which is usually a league task
I think the slayer master set-up might be different this time around from the first TBL. They've repeatedly stated "it's not just a re-run," there's actually some tech upgrades to what they can do since 4 or 5 years ago, and I just think it was kind of a hackneyed solution. Hopefully they do something else to fit slayer into a region restricted system this league, just like they'll do something else with a lot of the relics, tasks, passive unlocks, etc. And yeah, Giant's Foundry + blackjacking are part of what make Desert so good of an unlock. Wide variety of early/mid game training, minigames, etc. before you ever need to consider hitting up the Tombs or DT2 bosses.
It would be nice if we started in Kourend due to the massive amount of content it offers and the likelihood that it will also be the most picked region due to this.
Thanks for the video! I personally think the passive unlocks will be more focussed on those relics that weren't insanely gamechanging, but at the same time felt very shitty not to pick up. Examples would be unlimited run energy, stackable clue scrolls and picking your slayer tasks.
I was looking at Kourend, primarily for CoX but there is so much content there, and a lot that i don't enjoy, that i would feel like i have to do, just for points. I'll definitely be going Mory and picking up TOB, then Either Asgarnia, Desert, or Tirannwyn depending if i'm Melee, Mage or Range focussed (also depending on the relics)
My first pick is Asgarnia, GWD simply has everything I need, however the plan is to do Pest Control for Void early on, train stats and get some upgrades, and then go straight for the ACB, followed by full Armadyl, and then into Nex for the ZCB My next pick is (Obviously) Desert, not so much for the shadow or fang, but rather the lightbearer specifically, though I'd be very happy with Masori as well. With those two regions I have basically everything I need to finish the build I have in mind, but for my last region I'll just throw in Kourend for CoX since it unlocks my BIS mage gear and the twisted buckler. So, assuming the sigils are in my favor and are at least partially recycled from last Trailblazer, I'll pick Quickshot to half my ranged attack speed, give +100% accuracy, and +10% damage, I'll pick Weapon Specialist for an additional 10% damage and accuracy, and triple my passive spec regen to 30% per 30 seconds, and special attacks are capped at using a maximum of 20% energy. Combine this with the Zaryte Crossbow (Which is now a 3 tick weapon) I can not only almost guarantee a successful hit, but that successful hit is guaranteed to trigger an enchanted bolt special effect. Combine that again with the lightbearer, and I'm now regenerating special attack twice as fast, meaning every 15 seconds I get 30% energy or 1.5 special attacks, so I can throw out 100% accurate guaranteed ruby bolt specs every 3 ticks for 5 attacks, another spec every 15 seconds, and two specs every 30 seconds. This is also while wearing full fortified Masori, Pegasian boots, Zaryte Vambraces, Amulet of Fury, Twisted Buckler, and Range cape, and Rigour, and of course if I unlock everything else my switched would include Cerb boots w/Full Torva/Fang and Full Ancestral w/Shadow or Kodai w/Elidinis Ward.
Depending on the length of the league, getting all the drops you want from TOA, Nex and COX is going to be extremly difficult but your plan is solid if everything works out.
@@andylockwood4life The idea is to rush GWD for the ZCB and once I have that I can pretty easily shred my way through everything else with the special attack sigils, I'm really not too interested in getting a BIS melee and mage switch like obby platelegs and a BCP and infinity robes are good enough for me.
For those picking the Wilderness, especially if you're not taking Kandarin, it'll very likely be worth going for an Accursed Sceptre. It works as a powered staff similar to a trident, and outside the Wilderness its max hit is just 1 less than that of the regular trident of the seas. It will be a decent mage weapon to use while you're going for your Shadow for example. It will of course also be incredible for barraging slayer within the Wilderness itself.
@@Ricardo_Rick In terms of an actual META, I don't think so. I think if you are picking the Wildy, it's probably just because you enjoy Wildy adventures for their own sake. The most powerful aspect is definitely the Voidwaker, which could be incredibly powerful and fun if we get a spec relic, and if that hypothetical relic stacks correctly with lightbearer (and adrenaline inside TOA). I can picture dumping 10 Voidwaker specs in a row to absolutely melt bosses in TOA. VW is also a decent slash/stab weapon in its own right. The reworked bosses do have pretty good drop tables with herbs, secondaries, d bones and such. Slayer is also legitimately really good there, since barrageable&cannonable abby demons, nechs, dust devils and jellies exist there now. It's also the best region for prayer training due to chaos altar. But not really a big deal even if you don't have it.
@@Muistimetalli yeah, i will probably go to the elven lands because i want to try the gauntlet but since i'm awful at bosses it will make my life easier if i have relics with me on my first try at it
@@Ricardo_Rick The elven lands are really good for ranged especially because of Bowfa+BP. If we get combat relics similar to what we had in leagues 2, as in you had to specialize in one combat style, I think the elven lands are an automatic pick for rangers.
For me it will be wilderness first. Followed by asg and last desert so i got gwd corp toa void defender ect. Last trailblazer i did wild kand and priff gotta shake it up a little
I feel that between Kourend being so big with so much content, and how busted Tumekens is, you're basically griefing yourself if Kourend/Desert arnt at least one or even 2 of your unlocks. Kourend should just be another auto-unlock for everyone or we need an extra region unlock
exactly, there's a real risk that the game experience diversity we saw the first time around will be lost because these two regions stand out so far ahead. I think giving players 4 regions would be a way around this- maybe removing Karamja as an auto-unlock to balance it out?
@@meabhmurphy9090 Let's not pretend that Kandarin wasn't almost as much of an auto-unlock as Kourend will be in the first TBL. I think I lean towards 4th region as well, but the exclusivity and genuine restriction is one of the reasons TBL was better than SLR.
they could just do the smart thing, split kourend and kebos into 2 regions and give us a 4th unlock at the same time. plus most regions with a raid in them have some other varied content, but kourend has literally every skill covered you could need AND a raid. only region close to it is morytania cause it has tob + barrows, tower and black mask.
My plan is to go melee with regions Wildy>Desert>Mory Asgarnia and Kandarin are really nice regions but I went KAT last league and if I have to 100% God wars dungeon one more time I’m gonna yeet myself into a volcano. I want to try new things and new bosses I’ve never done, maybe get a pet!
Kourend is going to be HUGE, especially with the scaled raid changes coming into the game. doing 3+20s with relics is AND 4x drop rates going to be insane. 6 or 7 drop chances!
I’ll be prioritizing learning/getting comfortable with the inferno in leagues 4. I reckon I’ll be taking tirannwn, desert, and kandarin. I’ll add Zeah to the mix if Jagex throws us an unexpected curveball and gives us a 4th region
Last Trailblazer I went the Safe baby backed bitch route Asgarnia/Kandarin/Morytania; NOT THIS TIME, Man-Mode Trailblazer's Wilderness/Desert/Tirannwn(?) not sure what I want for the last region just yet but rest assured the 1st 2 are locked in. Want to get better at PVP and I want to do AT LEAST 1 Raid. If any1 has suggestions for the Man-Mode Route let me know.
We don't know what BiS melee will be since the relics can get crazy. Last time bandos relic made bandos gear go CRAZY, they could switch up a lot of stuff on release day with the relics.
Desert for melee? Just for the fang? I'd only see that worthwhile if the "speedup" relic only works on slower weapons like DMM. with picking Mory for TOB its weird picking Desert for 1 weapon thats gonna get replaced by Scythe+Rapier. Kandarin wayyyy bigger as first pick for melee for D scim, Torture and Piety.
@hookkan123 Make it hard to get to the 4th. As in an achievement, also where getting an extra tier along with one more region in the mix it only makes sense to let us earn an extra unlock
I think we're not gonna get fossil island with Misthalin this time, since in first Trailblazer we didn't have Zeah so it was part of Misthalin, but since we get Kourend as an area I think Fossil Island is unlocked through the quest Bone Voyage
What does that have to do with zeah? Bone voyage is started at the varrock museum and the boat is at the digsite area of mistalin . You need kudos from varrock museum to get the quest.
I'm almost certain the Scar area where the Leviathan is located, is considered part of the Abyss, so it should be a free unlock with Misthalin. Assuming we will have DT2 auto-unlocked.
problem is you would need to pick fremmy for ANY of the ring upgrades. So all the DT2 bosses overall are gonna be shit IMO because fremmy is so underwhelming.
@@deanmadden123 Fremmy isnt underwhelming. DKS, Vorkath, Duke, Muspah, Lunar magic and quite important - Keldagrim... Since I wanna pick Desert and Asgarnia, I might go fremmy to use the rewards from DT2. Ofc unless its low to none points for it.
Desert, kandarin, and kourend would likely be bis for tumeken shadow which I really wanna test but I can't ignore the many opportunities that range can offer
Planning for a mega rare from a raid sounds like prime burn out strats, even in Leagues. I went over 600 demonics dry for a single zenyte and 340 for an enhanced seed last league, can't imagine doing 200+ raids trying to chase a shadow.
Last trailblazer I did wildy, kandarin, tiranwnn. I don't want to pick any of the same even though they were incredible last league with a 1 tick blowpipe and 2 tick craws bow. I'm thinking kourend, desert, and probably asgarnia 3rd this time around.
thinking of going ranged this league, so i'm definitely gonna unlock asgarnia for the GWD and it's upgrades. Tyrawn for the bowfa and BP and then Kourend for eventually practicing CoX, i'll be treating this leagues as more of a training grounds now that my GIM account is more into the mid to endgame part, where i can do most raids now (if i have them learned) and bosses (if i got them unlocked and learned) so using this leagues to have an easier time prepping/going through the content is gonna speed up the learning process.
I REALLY want a minimum of 4 regions, it would be so amazing for the longevity of the league if they allowed us high requirements to unlocked every region. Kourend 100%, Asgarnia with last recall is pure dopamine, desert for ToA, but I really want elf lands too.
I’m going to be going for some great ranged gear. So I think my choices will be kourend then tirannwn then maybe kandarin or asgarnia, maybe I’ll feel spicy and go fremennik Kourend: I think will be good early point farming due to the vast content on it. Drag dart drops should be relatively common with the drops increase. Tirannwn: what can I say, blowpipe and bofa Kandarin: a lot of content but moreso looking at zenytes, warped sceptre could be interesting(I assume the dungeon is in kandarin)
For right now, I'm looking at Tirannwn, Kourend and the Desert. We'll see what happens when the League actually launches! Looking forward to it, appreciate this video a lot.
Last time I went with Asgarnia, Kandarin, and Morytania. This time, I’m thinking Kourend (I love Kourend), Desert, and Morytania. Just having access to all of the raids will be dope, and they’ll easily be soloable with relics. The hardest part will be making sure there’s enough time in the league to get to them all!
@@alanmoulet1362no. XD last time trailblazers league i soloed tob easily with ONLY magic. Imagine 😂 blood barrage and ice barrGe 2tick cast DOMINATED solo tob. No food needed, no pots needed. Just blood and ice barrage :D dont sleep on this.
1. Kourend (for skilling) 2. Kandarin (also for skilling and resources) 3. Morytania (for barrows) And yeah, I've only done a few raids so maybe thats why these are the ones I picked.
I need help choosing my third zone. I'm going magic and 100% choosing Kandarin and Wilderness. I'm an older player and don't have any experience with any raids or new content. For my last region I want it to do end-game content that is mage-friendly. I'm leaning towards Mortania because I want the black mask and to do some barrows. I'm curious tho if magic can be used against nightmare boss and the raid?
why vern like the vern from cavern. I cannot stand hearing you say the word wyvern so badly. it's so atrocious that you should get muted every time you dare utter the word.
So here's a huge factor we didn't have last time: combat achievements. You need to talk to Ghommal to activate the rewards, right? This effectively makes combat achievements locked to asgarnia. :l
They may end up addressing this. We have a bit of precedent from things like the elemental shield, dramen staff and more being made available regardless of regions. Also quest/achievement diary auto-completions to get around region restrictions.
Kourend being its own region is such a no brainer, it's the most fulfilling region by far, it's a reason the first league was kourend locked. Imo they should split it into kourend and kebos lowlands
Beautifully done, I loved the music coded region theming as you progressed through the video. I will probably be picking Desert and Kourend (shocker, very original, I know, I know); not sure about 3rd region since we don't have relics/passives/quest auto-unlocks, etc., yet, not to mention the task list. Too much good early and late game content/unlocks in each, plus I visited neither during the original Trailblazer League. Looking forward to your next League video, especially once they've actually given us the next chunk of teaser content. I really want to see a couple of the brand new relics spoiled!
Excellent video! Very well made :) I am super excited for Leagues, and have NO idea which 3 regions I will pick 🤯 I am strongly on the side of us getting a 4th region this time around, or Zeah being a free first unlock haha. I'm excited for them so start giving us some Leagues information, especially a release date so I can request time off work! lol
Great video but genuinely curious for my Ironman I’m about to restart, you said you can get a rune pickaxe in the enchanted valley? I can’t find any info on that, can anybody lmk how
Here you go! It's generally more useful for area locked than regular ironmen who can just buy a Rune Pickaxe from Nurmof in the Dwarven Mines oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rock_Golem_(monster)#High_level
I'm praying that they make the wildy region a little different. For example, The loss of untradeable items in 20-30+ wildy. Nothing like randomly geting pked for your void, in a iron man leagues.
If we have a task for getting a boss pet again, the Chaos elemental will be the fastest way to get one, if you don't happen to get lucky anywhere else. Being only 1/300. Not exactly a selling point for anyone to pick the Wildy, but if you did pick it, you might well end up killing some Chaos ele.
i own a dcup from leagues 2 i was very funny to play it, i would love to choose in leagues 4 , the desert content to how things have change and obvsly a new perspective of playing the gamemode, but there is 1 thing , questline and time invested i thing on my personal experience do each of the quests like the whole questline to be able to do toa and dt2 bosses it just too much like dt2 its like 3-5 hours? just that quest alone what if you gotta add all the other questslines sounds like too much , i might choose it only if i get auto completion of the whole quests in the area.
I hooe they give us 4 regions cus the added content in the past few years. That would be really awesome. But 3 regions for me is zeah/morytania/tirawnn for sure. 4th region asgarnia.
Elves, asgarnia, and kourend for me, going bow build no matter what the relics are. Insane upgrades with crystal bow, this, godwars, blow pipe and prayer. It’s a rangers wet dream
In all my years on this game, I've never done a raid. So this league I'm picking kourend, mory, and desert. Gonna do all three!
Hell yeah brother hope you get hooked up and do them in main game then
omg i literally said in my head " hell yeah brother" after reading his comment lmfao.. i was gonna type it but you beat me to it@@Felcington
I'm the same, although I don't plan on doing TOB.

Kandarin wayyyy bigger as first pick for melee for D scim, Torture and Piety.
I really hope they DONT give us more regions. One of the best part of the league is having to make choices and not just getting everything.
@hookkan123 Make it hard to get to the 4th. As in an achievement, also where getting an extra tier along with one more region in the mix it only makes sense to let us earn an extra unlock
I’m doing Kourend Tiranwn and Desert. My goal is bowfa and dark bow for spec to learn solo challenge mode COX
kourend is literally a no-brainer
im picking ranged and going tiranwyn zeah and desert with 2t bowfa and 1t blowpipe feel like its the best strat by far
@@joshholmes1372 Because you have to visit the woodcutting guild (or the gate to it) during the quest, which is located in Zeah.
This is true. Hopefully we get 4 regions this time.
@@midaswell_vr i hope so too.
Came here for Frank. Stayed for Frank.
A kindred spirit
Desert, kandarin, and kourend would likely be bis for tumeken shadow which I really wanna test but I can't ignore the many opportunities that range can offer
Planning for a mega rare from a raid sounds like prime burn out strats, even in Leagues. I went over 600 demonics dry for a single zenyte and 340 for an enhanced seed last league, can't imagine doing 200+ raids trying to chase a shadow.
@@fuckyoutube647 agreed. a lot of people fantasizing over raid drops. i respect it but i know i would burn out so fast
Tyrawn for the bowfa and BP
and then Kourend for eventually practicing CoX, i'll be treating this leagues as more of a training grounds now that my GIM account is more into the mid to endgame part, where i can do most raids now (if i have them learned) and bosses (if i got them unlocked and learned)
so using this leagues to have an easier time prepping/going through the content is gonna speed up the learning process.
I REALLY want a minimum of 4 regions, it would be so amazing for the longevity of the league if they allowed us high requirements to unlocked every region. Kourend 100%, Asgarnia with last recall is pure dopamine, desert for ToA, but I really want elf lands too.
Please no. The worst part about last league was lack of restrictions/meaningful choices, everyone had everything and that was boring
At MOST 4 and only at the new tier 7.
Desert, Asgarnia and Kourend
I’m going to be going for some great ranged gear. So I think my choices will be kourend then tirannwn then maybe kandarin or asgarnia, maybe I’ll feel spicy and go fremennik
Kourend: I think will be good early point farming due to the vast content on it. Drag dart drops should be relatively common with the drops increase.
Tirannwn: what can I say, blowpipe and bofa
Kandarin: a lot of content but moreso looking at zenytes, warped sceptre could be interesting(I assume the dungeon is in kandarin)
If i had to choice wouldnt get Karamja, pretty useless outside of MM1&2, Inferno cape. Shilo gems iguess but its well less than getting piety.
For right now, I'm looking at Tirannwn, Kourend and the Desert. We'll see what happens when the League actually launches! Looking forward to it, appreciate this video a lot.
Kandarin also unlocks piety
Last time I went with Asgarnia, Kandarin, and Morytania. This time, I’m thinking Kourend (I love Kourend), Desert, and Morytania. Just having access to all of the raids will be dope, and they’ll easily be soloable with relics. The hardest part will be making sure there’s enough time in the league to get to them all!
Soloable but its still hard ,better to find some ppl to trio raid
@@alanmoulet1362no. XD last time trailblazers league i soloed tob easily with ONLY magic. Imagine 😂 blood barrage and ice barrGe 2tick cast DOMINATED solo tob. No food needed, no pots needed. Just blood and ice barrage :D dont sleep on this.
1. Kourend (for skilling)
2. Kandarin (also for skilling and resources)
3. Morytania (for barrows)
And yeah, I've only done a few raids so maybe thats why these are the ones I picked.
Kourend, Asgarnia, and either Kandarin or Morytania
Kourend seems required, Desert has ToA and Tempoross, and uhh... Asgarnia because I hate wildy and Moyrtania's covered by Kourend stuff anyway.
why vern like the vern from cavern. I cannot stand hearing you say the word wyvern so badly. it's so atrocious that you should get muted every time you dare utter the word.
Picked desert last time and had a blast BUT GODDAMIT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET DRAGON DARTS I HUNTED SO MANY IMPLINGS
"There isn't much insentive to PK in the wilderness, because everyone are ironmen"
Have to tried abyss runecrafting - people don't need incentive xD
100% desert, mory and kourend. Just want to cast ancients at breakneck pace with boosted gear. Would make my little heart happy ❤
I'm excited for them so start giving us some Leagues information, especially a release date so I can request time off work! lol
they should give Zeah for free since it's jsut too big and good to pass
First league I did Kandarin, Asgarnia, and Fremennik. This league im looking at Kourend, Asgarnia, and Desert
You got some brilliant pronunciation going on bro. Examples being Wyvern and Tithe. Keep it up.
Don't you mean, teeth???
One small thing you missed is d pick can be obtained from misthalin through volcanic mining on fossil now.
Loved the video man ! I gotta say at this point I am thinking wilderness first then Kourend and finally desert!
I can confirm you will get your ass kicked over and over again trying to get back to your wildy loot pile but.... it's still a fun region
I don’t play osrs let alone leagues but your video kinda made me want to play. Fantastic editing and a script that kept me engaged!
If you are interested I actually think leagues is an easy way to have the experience quickly.
do you think they will make it like the first one where for example you got a hydra's claw it would drop a lance?
You'd like to think that they'll carry over all of the best quality of life touches, we'll have to wait and see!
this is going to be mny order - Kandarin - Asgarnia - kourend, and i feel thats gonna be a popular path.
So far , I'm leaning towards Kourend -> Asgarnia -> Mortania.
Depends on the relics but have been leaning towards kourend, desert, kandarin but not positive
You can get a dragon pickaxe from volcanic mine, which is Misthalin
Good video ! I'm going for Asgarnia, then Kandarin, then Desert.
I remember doing agarnia, mory and then kandarin
But I didn’t know how to raid so I only got a rune cup that league
I had a very similar experience with Morytania when.. regardless of relics - i'd never done Theatre of Blood. That was... interesting.
I think i wanma use this leauges to dip my toes into some what learn cox i say some what cause we will all be op as all get out so
Great video but I need to mention Wyverns are pronounced "Why-Verns"
You can still get the dragon pick from Volcanic Mine... unlikely but possible
You can get a broken Dragon Pickaxe from Volcanic Mine but need Asgarnia to repair it 😥
@@ScriticRS ohhhhhhh :(
i got my misthalin already planned out for 1k points start
Kandarin is missionary 😂😂
I'm not picking any regions because its a total xp waste to play leagues.
The ‘attractive’ with Thurgo mean you deserve a like
Think I'm going Wilderness, Asgarnia, and Fremennik
Wildy, kourend(grubby key food gonna be big), and no clue for 3rd
If fossil island is mistalin everyone can get a d pick from VM
What are the options for ornate pool alternatives other than desert ammy 4 and ferox?
Remember, you need dks unlocked in order to get dt2 rings
Great video but genuinely curious for my Ironman I’m about to restart, you said you can get a rune pickaxe in the enchanted valley? I can’t find any info on that, can anybody lmk how
Here you go! It's generally more useful for area locked than regular ironmen who can just buy a Rune Pickaxe from Nurmof in the Dwarven Mines
oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Rock_Golem_(monster)#High_level
Mory, Kourend and asgarnia is where I’m leaning
First vid i've seen of you, great work keep it up
Never done a raid and not many PvM bosses. Worried that people are not gonna want to teach it during Leagues.
Picking wilderness for sure, gl out there
I'm praying that they make the wildy region a little different.
4th region asgarnia.
good vid but teeth farm, really?
I'm going for Kourend then morytania with probably asgarnia last.
Volcanic mine comes with a broken Dpick now, so you COULD get it that way. (you just gotta get it from ore packs and pay 2.5m to repair it)
Elves, asgarnia, and kourend for me, going bow build no matter what the relics are. Insane upgrades with crystal bow, this, godwars, blow pipe and prayer. It’s a rangers wet dream
wyvern shield is kandarin i'm pretty sure, you need an elemental shield but maybe we'll get access to it without needing kandarin
It absolutely is Kandarin, my bad! The pinned comment highlights that we apparently got an elemental shield picking other regions so there's hope yet
