Leagues 4 - Best Regions for every Combat Style

- Now that the new combat relics have announced, here are all the best regions selections you can take for all 3 of the combat styles! Remember to use this as a launching pad for your own route, blindly following the optimal route will only lead you to burnout.
I said i could talk about the combat relics for an hour and so here's the result :)
EDIT: A couple people have been asking about the Dragon long vs. Whip; I did some DPS calculations and found out i was mistaken and got it confused with the leaf bladed battle axe, the whip is indeed stronger than the dragon long, which trails it by about 5-10%. However, Dlong can be a better stab weapon if you need that specifically! Thanks for pointing that out

My picks for WORST Region Selection:
Melee with Kandarin, Tirannwn, Zeah
but my DHL XD
melee can still pick up the obby set + zerker necklace with the obby mace for alot of damage there but its kinda troll
3t Chally with Piety! Imagine the crits!
buff chally so it can reach zulrah@@jameskamerman392
You got blade, serp, torso I believe, brimstone boots, obby legs, brimstone ring, torture kinda solid lol
Straight up most helpful and well spirited videos I've seen in a little while. Love this video and a ton of useful information that is concise. I'm even more excited for Leagues now that its just around the corner!
Thank you for this. I was having such a hard time picking what build I want to do. I was going to go with melee but I knew I didn't want theater. But you explaining range. MAN that seems like the most fun! Plus all the bossing you want!
The nice thing about the ranged route is you'll still do pretty good damage even with an arma crossbow and rigour, so it's not like absolute best in slot is necessary before you really start doing damage. It just keeps getting better with every drop
Same here. I was struggling to pick between melee and mage, but watching his explanation of ranged made me seal that in as my choice!
You totally made me question my route for ranged with the crossbow insight!!! Now to go have pace around the apartment for an hour haha. Thanks the awesome deep dive DoubleShine!!!
Sorry to ruin your plans once again!
im very glad i decided to give leagues a shot this year because i absolutely love the way you break down the game and keep it engaging by not trying to just push everyone into what you think your best strategy is but more so help folks with less game knowledge have a more solid base to make their own plans from! you are quickly one of my favorite osrs content creators for sure i hope you make lots more content here
Really loving all the vids, great summaries and in-depth ideas at the same time keep it up and hope you enjoy your league!
Same to you! see you around lumbridge!
Hey dude. I've never heard of you until this leagues, and I got to say.. damn good insight and info. Keep it up!
best league video i've seen by far, love the way you break everything down that I was interested in
Love watching the channel explode with leagues nearing keep up the great content!
Times going by so quick! barely have enough to get these out before the real fun finally starts
@@doubleshine ive tried to watch a LOT of league videos and always overwhelmed. Subbed here immediately when i found your day by day teasers, can actually follow them
Hey thanks! I hope they're not too difficult to track out of order since I often mention previous announcements!
@@doubleshine not at all! I'm just going back to see your thoughts on the earlier ones now that I found your channel.
I like your content and I am rooting for you to get as many subscribers as possible via these leagues videos. Inspiring! Keep up the good work and I wish you some good rng in leagues! We might even meet since I am probably gonna pick the same regions. ;)
Yoooo I was so excited when I got the notification for this vid! Just what I needed after a long day
Hope you enjoyed it! I'm grabbing dinner and reading over your awful zone picks haha
Congratz on 2.5k, another great vid :)
Thanks! so many people asked for the combat style video so this was really fun to make
Glad I stumbled onto this channel, your leagues content seems is definitely top tier, well-researched and accurate! And I know I can trust a fellow former A-F-K melee gang member :)
Range builds do seem strongest so far but for some reason I am much more excited to go magic this time around. Still deciding what to pair with K+D though...
K+D go so well together that you really can run anything, it's kinda nice if you don't mind those two since your last pick is purely for fun or skilling methods, etc...
Love your video's! I have just one remark: for the alternate mage route I believe you need to have picked Desert as well to be able to get the Magus ring in the Fremenik area.
how does this man have less than 10k subs. Amazing video! Good info, helped me iron out my leagues plan.
man your content this leagues is seriously top tier and your dedication to reply to everyone! you deserve your blowup man!
I'm just happy to help people make their choices, this video had to be made sooner rather than later
Featured on Jagex update page!! Well done :D
I was originally gonna go mage relic, but the range route lines up perfectly with the regions I’m choosing. And boy does a 2-tick ZCB sound incredible
If you do go range, 1 tick blowpipe is a *lot* of fun. 17 second zulrah being slow is a weird feeling. The one downside is the limited utility of bp because so many bosses have such high defense that even with rigour and boosted accuracy, bp gonna splash a lot.
I'm concerned about Nex farming, but I've never done it before. I know kills go fast, but I'm not sure if I stand a good chance of getting a ZCB with even like 10 hours of Nex kills due to the weird group drop chance.
@@jamochathunder198 nex is a weird one, because for most bosses you can get a ballpark by dividing the normal expectation by 5, but realistically, nex will be massed on every world, so the kills will go *so* quickly that half the time you may not even get a hit in, and the other half of the time, you're gonna have the 1/300 (ish) for a horn to roll (granted 5x so 1/60) followed by a 1/500 to be the one who gets the unique. But the kills will be so fast that I have no idea how much faster it'll be. Range probably has the advantage here due to ruby and diamond bolts, followed by mage for voidwaker guaranteed damage into shadow for high accuracy, if the kills last that long.
I'm excited to see the spec relic with zcb dumping multiple specs lmaooo
@@jamochathunder198 You don't have to worry about that too much, with the hard CAs completed (which should be very doable with the A/D/Z zcb region combo) players who are in your cc can be invited to join your private Nex sessions. This way, I imagine lots of people will be doing Nex in small groups of 2-5 which will still be pretty easy and allow for a much better drop chance!
Door build with FZM is also great. Gets you leaf-bladed axe as sustain weapon to use until you get door. Plus thanks to the immunities from the melee relic vorkath is basically free so that gets you plenty of easy prayer.
oh shoot I forgot to mention how free vorkath is because of the melee relic! it was in my notes and I totally forgot
not gonna lie: bonking vorkath with a giant door does sound funny
Can't you not get piety in the door build without asgarnia?
@@_The-Guy_ It's been confirmed you only need Kandarin for Piety.
Thank you for the recommendations! Great note to have fun, people tend to get lost in the meta nowadays. :) Hope you have a fantastic leagues 4!
And you as well! see you in lumbridge day 1!
Another banger. Looking like melee K A D or K A F for me. Excited... one more week. At least there's a few more leaks and deep-dives to look forward to until then :)
The fun factor was actually what I wanted to hear. Leagues is off putting at times with even more effeciencyscape. Liked the video as soon as you said fun factor. Have fun in leagues! I know I will.
Great video! I'D have to say I am tempted to go to the DOOR build! It would prove so challenging to build but theres something unique about being able to afk inferno up to triple jads. All hail the DOOR!
would love to take a nap while grinding out inferno, only really having to pay attention to the last 2 waves lmao
Door build sounds so fun 🤣
Honorable melee mention: barrows gear also gets a massive buff from the relic as guthans, veracs and dharoks are 5t 5t 7t normally so 2t 2t 3t in the league. Basically your early game is set with barrows if you go door build ZKM
New subscriber here, really enjoying your content.
One thing i havent noticed people discussing regarding the range relic is that almost all the time accurate is going to be superior to rapid.
that is not going to be the case as accurate with crossbow/tbow or any other "5 tick rapid weapons" will end up 3 tick instead of 2
Dude, this is the best video I've seen so far. You prioritize fun instead of raw efficiency-scape. Very balanced take, super refreshing to hear
Unless something groundbreaking happens in the next week of teasers, im currently planning on doing melee relic and unlocking, Zeah, Asgarnia, and Fremennik. So excited that last recall is back and isnt competing for a relic choice this time around. Cant wait to see what other madness the rest of the relics can cause.
I have another great video idea for you. You should cover which bosses are in every region, including demi bosses and such. Since most have some sort of a KC task attached, people who are looking for dragon tier might want to know what major/(mini)major grinds they might be getting into!
Plus I just want to see more content from you!
Noted! I try to cover that all in the region deep dives, but I feel the more condensed and broader videos are probably a bit easier to digest as well
Also, you can get imbued god cape from wildy. That + regular imbued heart helps close the gap a bit with Fremmy at least.
Wildy really comes down to the spec weapon for me, it just might be worth it depending on what we get
I think Wildy is more valuable than Fremmy due to the resource and GP abundance, large list of skilling options, weapons for all 3 styles that have specs and are easy to charge, and wildy slayer. Plus the regions sustains itself with blighted food/pots and probably has a pretty easy tasklist.

Even for a rs and especially leagues obsessed guy like myself, I still pick up some good tips on your vids. Thanks and keep it up!
that's sick to hear, i try to strike a balance between some beginner friendly stuff that may be obvious to most and then some more advanced tips for the veterans like yourself
Last leagues I learned raids2 in full melee, so this leagues I want to learn COX as I've actually never tried it. Thanks to your wonderfull videos I've decided to go asgarnia > tiranwin (as I also want to get better at the gauntlet, and dont really have time for very time intensive grinds) into Kourend. I'm super excited for this leagues and hope everyone else is too!
Good luck! There's some really nice changes coming to CoX soon that should make the raid way more fun, so you're learning it at a pretty good time! Plus if you hit your tbow, that's just free dps for the rest of the leagues.
Doing the same. But I’m going tirannwn first then I think Asgarn second. I think full crystal with bofa will make god wars a breeze. Get god wars gear and then go to kour last I think
This made me even more excited for range route. i was still dead set on tir and hadnt considered a desert kourend asgarnia route. definitely will be going that way
the beauty of DZA ranged is how strong you'll be entering PvM with just a rune crossbow, and every single drop you get will only continue to boost your damage. Most of the other routes really require you to hit a raid drop before you start doing significant damage.
@@doubleshine yeah i’ve done dragon cup every league but this year i’m going to miss a week or two so just want to focus on max dps fun pvm
Been an on and off osrs player for like 6 years. Gonna use this league to try later game content. Thanks for the guide.
Welcome back! Leagues is how I learned a lot of pvm so it definitely translates if you're paying attention and trying to familiarize with mechanics
Excellent video!
Actually have thoroughly enjoyed these. Perfect to watch at work and theory craft
glad to hear it! I think the video is best as background noise since I'm pretty light on editing, so it's good to hear that's been working out
Great info and well presented ty
Glad you enjoyed!
Best OSRS UA-camr right now and it’s by a long shot 👏🏻
hey thanks! the support really keeps me motivated to keep with the content and get the videos out for you all before leagues drops
Very very good video! Super helpful breakdown! Ranged is making a lot of sense for me. As far as getting enough points is concerned... Na don't think I mind! Maybe I'll regret that but na it'll be good. :D
a note for the ranged route is that rcb limbs also drop from the archaeologist on fossil island if you hate doing steel dragons
I think all of us hate doing steel dragons so that's a good tip
Deranged arch also drops full crystal keys for your first dragonstones if you go asgarnia and black dhide body, black dhides, also diamonds for bolts. He really is the iron man early game loot piñata.
ah nice, dragonstones are also important for zeah in forthos
@@doubleshine last trailblazer I got dragon legs from steel drags which was also a task, so I have a bizarre fondness to them since then...
gr8 vid man! subbed!
Thanks! hope this helped with your personal region picks!
You made it into an official Jagex post. Gz!
Thanks for sharing my build! :) -Zeroic
Ayy I saw your post on reddit!
The idea of using the bulwark as a main weapon is amazing, i really wanna do that!
A fun melee build could also be ZMD since it gives you so many 5t weapons to play with. Fast access to the Soulreaper axe from Vardorvis, Bulwark, Scythe, and Fang. As well as full justi to support the door. You don't get piety, defenders or torva here, but it could be fun and varied.
I read some pretty wild tech about using onyx bolt tips from the tokkul store and the ranged relic that seems like it could be nuts
I have little to no experience with the "optimal" ranged build, but i think im going to try it out. It will be a good opportunity for me to learn some of the end game bosses I have no experience with.
Im personally going for bowfa range build. Frem and desert will be my other unlocks for some Toa! Super excited
great vid man. thank you
I think I'm going to go for a Ranged build in Fremennik + Asgarnia + Zeah. Those regions have what I consider to be the most enjoyable content for me, and they seem to synergise reasonably well too. Who knows, though - everything could change once we get the full list of relics and passive effects!
Idk if someone has mentioned it, but magic has another spec - Nightmare Staffs. Volatile in particular competes with Tumuneks Shadow with a Spec build. Could go ZKM or FKM as extra non-desert options.
Frem for venator bow and ranged sounds so fun, but extremely niche. Range does seem fun this leagues!
Friends and I were planning on going Ka + Ko + Mory from the start because we wanted to do the raids for the first time. After a couple days of hashing ideas we landed on the door and justiciar and seeing other people land on it has been a bit reassuring. Im ready for the door meme
20:40 You can also get the runite limbs as 1/25.6 from the deranged archeologist+ an early black d'hide body which he drops
Impressed with your content.
Thanks! trying to get a bit better with every video since I'm still pretty new to all this
Door build sounds epic. Please give us a door-build roadmap video!
You forgot to mention Mages option of Ancient sceptre if they pick Fremmy but otherwise great video. Its such a minor thing to leave off though as you said, Kandarin and Desert are pretty much mandatory. All sceptre would do is aid you in getting a Shadow if you pick Fremmy as your first region. Otherwise you can add a Dt2 jewel to the sceptre to attempt to buff up the power pre-Shadow.
Fremmy could also have some potential use for Range if there is some cool use you can find with a 2-tick Venator bow in multi (If we get explosive attacks back)
one caveat with the fire surge build is that there's a 1t delay when autocasting. so if you plan on doing content that requires moving a lot (olm), ur fire surge setup is gonna feel very awkward unless you're manually casting it
Always wanted to do a tank build and you know it generally isn't that good but with this league the door calls my name and I shall fall into its sweet embrace!
Thanks for all the awesome insight in these videos, Doubleshine, you're killing it!
Was originally thinking of doing Mage relic with Zeah, Desert, Asgarina in that order - but now I don't know what to do lol.
I only come back to osrs for leagues because I have a blast, but I only have heavy experience with like, 2007scape content and some of Zeah here and there and some new content from past leagues. I've also never done God Wars, so really wanted to try that out with all the raids and stuff for the first time. Anyone think that doing Zeah instead of Kandarin is gonna be a bad go of things for a mage build? OR should I do range or melee instead? I still plan to pick those 3 regions regardless.
so skipping kandarin is about a 20% dps loss for Mage, but you'll still do insane damage regardless. ZDA is great for ranged though if you want to give that a shot although it will require doing 2 raids which may be worth learning in Leagues anyways
I'm really excited after watching this video. I'm trying to create a good solo content route and leave open a raid or group boss to try if I have the time. I was leaning toward melee but I'm really starting to consider range. Indecision is a nightmare.
Same here, mostly solo and also on mobile quite a bit so the Ranged PvM route has me hesitant. Did you decide what regions you’re doing?
I wanna do like raids since i havent really done them on my main, i'm not a high enough level for them yet but i'd love to practice in trailblazer, would desert, kourend, morytania be good for melee? if so what would be like the easiest order to unlock them?
Fun Factor being the top of your list is GREAT. So many players are obsessed with finding the best relic by the numbers, picking the best region for that relic and getting the most out of their time in Leagues. It’s a fun game mode and if that’s how they have their fun, go for it, but I’d encourage everyone to just play.
Getting best gear can be fun in itself, but that should be a personal choice. like "oh i killed bandos in 7 seconds instead of 8" isn't really gonna make or break your league haha
yeah my group of 3 will with each style will all have d+z, to do the raids together, ends up being very close damage output compared to fully bis regions too
Yeah I’m in the same boat. Having a strong build isn’t necessarily the most important thing. I wanted to go ranged but I really don’t like crossbows and the progression, so I will go melee. Having Progression be like RCB>ACB>ZCB with void>arma>masouri feels so painfully boring
I really am here for the fun and just getting enough points for the cosmetics I want but damn it's hard to pick the regions and relics D:
I need someone to tell me what the 3 most fun areas are haha. I'm a noob (even after 20 years of playing) and haven't done a lot of high end content.
You mentioned the Voidwaker spec doesn't work with the melee relic, but that's only for the 10% crit chance, right? The important part is having the speed increase on the spec. The accuracy buff also doesn't matter since it's a guaranteed hit.
I'm planning on going melee with Asgarnia + Desert + Wildy because I like the content, and spamming Voidwaker specs is a pretty big part of the fun factor. Very excited to play a little OSRS after a long break, thanks for the informative videos!
looked into it a bit further just to check, and it looks like it doesn't benefit from the melee relic accuracy (kinda irrelevant since it never misses) but does benefit from the mage 20% damage lol.
Most importantly though it retains the half speed, so you'll be able to dump spec every 2 ticks. Pretty solid! Might need to revisit voidwaker if a spec relic gets released. ADW sounds really strong btw with Fang + lightbearer to back up the Voidwaker specs
@@doubleshine I'm picturing something like using adrenaline in TOA, and a spec relic that makes all specs 20% to completely ignore maging Akkha, and just dumping 10x voidwaker specs into Akkha. Or Voidwaker speccing to make Ba-Ba reach the 33% hp treshold before she's even finished throwing the boulders from reaching 66%. Since mage/ranged hits don't cause her to stop throwing boulders, and it does work with the VW spec too. It could be a lot of fun.
I'm going range and plan on zeah, desert, and asgarnia. What order would you guys recommend taking?
im thinking about getting either a melee or ranged build i picked desert and asgarnia will be my next but not sure about the 3rd unlock any tips please?
I'm definitely leading to KDA for magic as well, kinda funny that KDA is just individually one of the best choices for both magic and melee. Indeed the main thing leading me to asgarnia is the whisperer for Virtus Robes, and hasta/defender which seem quite useful for grinding out ToA (especially if you decide to grind for shadow you'd be in ToA for a while)
the bonus melee gear is so nice because if im still dying on akkha im gonna rage
I was looking at KDA for melee, but also as decent off relic gear for magic.
Fantastic video! I’m going ZAD for soulreaper melee route
It’s worth mentioning that dinh’s is also a big dps spec (usually > claws) since it double hits your target on spec, without even factoring in its aoe utility. Door gang rise up!
this was a great breakdown
Thank you! I noticed I had a few editing cuts screw up but hopefully it wasn't too distracting 😅
4:49 yessss THIS! there might be the "best for streamers, or best for maximum points" but hoenstly theyre all objectivly amazing when you min max around what you enjoy, what avoids burnout, what your goals are for the league, and what you want ot leanr and achieve. I CANT WAIT TO HAVE A BLAST IN ZAD MELEE~!
Nice video. I'm also going range, but thought it interesting you didn't mention void armor. Since accuracy will be such a non-factor, I see no reason to not use Void for pretty much everything, maybe until Zaryte vambs. Even with full Masori, NORMAL void will outperform on anything where you are decently accurate.
This makes Asgarnia so strong, and tbh makes desert somewhat optional. Lightbearer would still be really good, but Kandarin would be tempting for Zenyte jewelry utility.
The Accursed Sceptre isn't the only magic spec weapon; the Nightmare Staves exist. The Volatile Nightmare Staff has a spec that should be able to hit mid-90s, and the Eldritch Nightmare Staff heals your prayer based on damage dealt. Depending on what special attack relics there are (if any) I can see either/both of them being very useful. Given how most of the power of a mage build comes from Kandarin and Desert anyway, and how the Shadow can effectively do just about anything including ToB and Nightmare, Morytania is a pretty good third region choice as well.
There's another magic spec weapon in Morytania! The nightmare staff from Phosani's nightmare. Also the Imbued God capes are in wilderness
hey good point! tbh I have no clue how good those are but it's another item to keep in the back of your mind in case the meta shakes up yet again
Duke only drops 1/4th of the soulreaper axe? Are they modifying the drop tables so you only need one boss?
Hey is there a way you can make a guide for people not planning on going for end game gear? I live leagues but I'm not taking it seriously enuff to focus on say ancestral, tbow, bandos ect but still want to progress
i picked kandarin because i wasnt sure which relic i was gonna pick and picked ranged
which of the other 2 should i pick?
The ranged route seems to be a lot of fun. However, I look up against the CoX grind A LOT, especially since you need to use the other combat styles a lot. So I think I'm going tge mage route with kandarin, desert and eitger asgarnia or mory (to learn tob and for nigbtmare staves)
Are there going to be any fun uses for a venator bow?
It’s a 4 tick like bowfa but I am curious if the chance to fire an extra projectile can also proc the ricochet effect?
Unfortunately I don't think it can mass ricochet like that, but it may find use as an AoE weapon of choice at like ToB Nylos, or in the catacombs of kourend if you're doing that anyways and don't want to bother with chins
Great content bruddah. I been tuning in every day for the reveals. Im torn between Desert and Kourend. Melee build. Asgarnia and Mory is for sure cause I wanna learn ToB. I also wanna learn solo CoX but I know the fang is gonna rip. And solo TOA is gonna be even more of a breeze. What yall think is gonna be more beneficial?
I would go AMD if you're a bit new to raids, AMZ Is strong too but fang just carries
@@doubleshine id be new to ToB but i've run CoX a little and do solo ToAs in the main game. Decisions decisions. and now some friends are thinkin of AMD so i might have to join them. got some days to mull it over. Thanks for the input! keep crushing the content big dawg.
I am not super familiar with the newest updates to osrs over the last handful of years I tend to always do what I was doing back in the day but the increased OP exp rates fill me with so much dopamine I’ll definitely be resubbing to osrs next week
im gonna be mad as heck if you don't have a series when leagues drops
don't worry about that, that's 100% happening :)
If you do range, you can argue about Tyrannwn for BP in midgame, Bowfa, and the 4tick Dark Bow (with the spec relic this might be very fun?). Also I think Zeah Desert Morytania/Fremennik are very fun for melee. Either the inquis/justi scythe/door build (has it been tried yet?) with Morytania or the Gloves/Rings/Axe build with fremmy, they both have fun stuff, but you miss out on Asgarnia. The main issue I see with DZF is that your body/legs slots are kinda doomed if going melee, no? But you do get two raids and 3 dt2 bosses to have fun with
I was thinking melee: desert, asgarnia and kand but after this video I’m thinking mage same regions. I sounds like the most fun.
Is mage viable at ToA bosses before you get the shadow? Aside from the magic immunity phases
my picks that i think are actually decent not intentionally trash, would be melee with morytania, kandarin, desert. i would really appreciate any advice or knowledge that i am unaware of about these regions. i am also a very middle tier knowledged osrs player so literally any advice would be awesome
balancing going for dragon cup and going the fun route gets tricky
cause my choice is magic -> kandarin; desert; wildy
but how am I gonna get corp beast points with a mage?
Really good info in this video. Your hair is awesome.
Thanks so much! It's been curling well for the videos luckily, otherwise it becomes such a mess
Hey i only play leagues so hope this isnt a dumb question, but im planning on going range and ive been looking at early game crossbows and saw the bone crossbow is only 4 ticks on rapid but 5 ticks on accurate. If i put it on accurate instead of rapid would i still get the increased speed to 2t + the invisible +3 ranged?
That's correct! For the bone crossbow as well as something like BoFA, you want to be on accurate to get the extra ranged accuracy, and it will still go down to 2 ticks. Nice job spotting that!
I'm planning to use this league to learn bosses. I don't want to learn Desert as it's probably the easiest to learn in the main game due to the variable difficulty of ToA.
So I'm left with Asgarnia, Kourend, and Morytania. And I have no idea what combat style would be best for those. Ranged is probably better due to not having piety, but there's so much melee loot and the Bulwark idea sounds fun to me.
Maybe a relic will let us choose a second relic of this tier so I could just use both styles.
melee would definitely be best with those 3 regions
Morytania is an honorable mention for magic build. It can use the Nightmare staves which (a) have a special attack and (b) have the best in slot standard spell increase of +15%. This boost is tied with the Staff of the Dead (Asgarnia) and the Kodai Wand (Zeah + Desert).
Eldritch staff with a spec relic and a lightbearer could be kinda funny. Would probably straight up not need any prayer ever.
You guys thing Asgarnia - Morytania - Desert would work? I really wanna use it to practice TOB and TOA,
I think with ruinous prayers and the spec relic announced now there's a viable melee route in Kourend-Desert-Asgarnia. Don't need piety, unlocks two raids and DHL, d claws, plus all of kourend skilling. Thinking that's my route
Something I've wondered is if killing whisperer for the soulreaper axe for a melee build with Kandarin/Asgarnia/Desert, how viable would it be to camp staff of the dead with spec to cut down on the melee damage you would be taking, also, would you be able to 'flinch' whisperer by stepping back before each attack since I think it prioritizes the range/mage attacks. Might be something to look in to
Staff of the dead may end up being the meta there for sure and just pumping enough dps to phase change before you die since you'll have nothing to do during pillars anyways. The flinch method might work but you're essentially melee woox walking every 2 ticks, which is gonna be more mechanically intensive than most other combat options in leagues
Love your videos and you are killing it! Do you think auto casting ancient magicks from the master wand will be a 2 tick thing?
Yes they will! makes ancient magicks with like a Kodai and elidinis about 80% of shadow dps
@@doubleshine i find that kinda hard to believe? considering theyre both 5t and thus get the same "multiplier" from the relic, but shadow is far stronger than ice barrage in the main game, like surely more than 25% stronger?
it's just based off calculations i did but I may have screwed up somewhere. either way it was like 2x max damage from main game
This is the video that makes your channel pop off
currently sitting at #1 performing video of all time thanks to all your support 🧡
I'm really keen on going Melee relic with Asgarnia, Morytania and desert as I want to try out ToB, ToA and Nex/GWD as much as possible. Will I be fine without Piety?
yeah you'll be just fine, ultimate strength is still 15% strength, piety is 23, so not too bad
I'll was going Ranged but the magic relic has convinced me to revert back to my ambitious choice of ZDM,
The plan is to get tasks, diary, and skilling out of the way in the starters/ zeah and the desert and to invest heavily in combat once Mory is unlocked. (Maybe water/fire tome? Plus rada's blessing is nice even at a +1)
Planning on going from fire battlestaff ->infinity robes/master wand/mages book once I have a strong enough minigame multiplier + Ring of Shadows for 75k +Magic Ammy-> Ahrims -> Fire Cape/99 Cape T-> Hit up the raids and pray
Cult of the Door calls to me, I love Dinhs so much. KKA seems to be the most flexible though for me personally, while also including Door, but I want to take this league to also learn ToA. Maybe KAD? But then no Door. I wish we had a fourth choice, so hard to choose.
Nonetheless as a huge noob this video certainly did help narrow it down for me though, thanks!
Did I miss something or are they adding Soulreaper Axe pieces to the other DT2 bosses? Currently you need a piece from all 4 bosses meaning you can't get the axe?
They are changing it just for leagues so that all 4 bosses will drop all 4 pieces! This means even with just the desert unlocked you can kill leviathan and get all 4 pieces!
Just the video I needed
Hope this helps and doesn't throw all your plans out the door!
another question :) quest wise how does that work. iv heard some are auto unlocks but some arent? do you choose that or how does that work? if you know :)
Basically some quests in every area get auto completed when you unlock the zone, generally these are quests that would have otherwise required you to have access to other areas to do them. But quests like Sins of the Father in Morytania can be done entirely in Morytania, so you still would have to do that.
Quests also give the boosted XP rates if you complete them yourself though, so it's nice if your zone does have some quests for some absolutely massive xp chunks
How bad would it be to chose melee with asgarnia, desert and moritania. So i can get toa and tob. missing out on piety...
