Here's a quick TOA guide showing all the boss rooms and puzzle rooms. I recommend using runelite with the plugins mentioned. If you don't already have a specific Runelite plug in you can get it from the plug-in hub.
You can use these tips in solo play or in group play. If you're doing red x or butterfly (bf) in a group they will love you. :)
If you're going solo I recommend adding and invocation after 1 or 2 clears with your current load out. Good luck!

You should pin this or put it in the description! As someone who is new to TOA these are incredibly helpful because switching gear and attack styles during akkha's fight can be really confusing.

for some reason my radius markers plugin looks different than yours
@@Peppers6969 Under the plugin settings I have them all checked, not sure if that's default but it may be affecting things a bit.
Its actually insane how much better this guide is than any other guide I've watched for TOA. I've already learnt a lot of the core TOA stuff but this really nails down a lot of the really good mechanics that really make a difference for you. 100/10 for this guide, no nonsense, no bull just the information and tactics you ACTUALLY need to improve. Also for P1 to maximize dps/minimize supplies used, if you start the fight at 99 hp and turn on rapid heal, you can tank orbs down to 75. You will heal to 76 before the balls come hit you for 75, then you can tick eat with yellow keris on the second set of balls. This is 100% consistent and you'll usually start p2 in the mid 80s hp

I like how you take some simple things aswell as more advanced things. I think everyone at the time they do TOA should know how run tricking works but it's nice to take the basics too esspecially when it's core to doing other strats and skips
Thought I would include it because I've done a few mass worlds and they are goofy with those kephri puzzles :p

For red X if you dont have sounds or if you like visual queues more - you press red click after BABA does the little paw attack animation.
if you do it too early/late it will stop redxin

2:20 small nitpick. If u push a jug into a rock towards zebak(East->West) with upset stomach on, it will not create a safespot. However, if you push a jug into a rock away from zebak(West->East) it will give you a safespot.
I'll have to double check on this. From my understanding when a jug hits the rock the water "explosion" happens in a 3x3 area (with upset stomach) with the rock in the middle, which would clear 1 square of acid in any direction. Once I'm off work today I'll double check though. I guess I usually push from the sides so I'm not certain

I always use upset stomac and if there is an easy jug but it's on the west side of the rocks, i'm just gonna ignore it and try to move an other jug or send it so that it doesnt hit the rock and manually hit it with my bow to blow it up because it wont create a safe spot if it blows up by hitting the rock.

Alright so ive watched guides for starting ToA but im barely 3mins in and u explain how to perform the mechanic, rather than just saying to walk through the zeb wave. Good detail and the tile markers are a big help for seeing the game ticks
Still learning TOA but this was a great guide I'm certain I'll return to as I progress.

Tip for remembering which side to be on after skull skip: watch the wardens hand. If he lefts his left hand its the right side, if he lifts both hands middle, if he lifts right hand, its left side.

Great video, I'm confident doing solo 350s but I don't use insanity. I was worried about the timing with the boulders but this has me confident. Also I upped my FOV to skip the obelisk in Kephris puzzle but having it in the plugin just not turned on was good to know
Edit: insanity 390 complete. 19k chest but that's ok least I can do it now

That'll actually get you 355 but you can take off one of the 5pt zebek or baba ones

Zebak tip: Zebak's first boulder special attack will always be frontmost (boulders land closest to Zebak). His second attack will always be a little bit further back (boulders land further away from Zebak).

5:20 minor thing, but you can save a tick if you click on the safe tile north/south of the middle one, and clicking again on the #5 tile.
Does skull skipping only work with ranged weapons? I am trying to learn on leagues and i am doing magic as my main style.

This is easily the most well put guide/tips video for ToA I've yet to come across. Hats off, mate.
Maybe you could make a video on basic raiding mechanics, I just started playing after almost 10 years and the only combat mechanics I know are clicking on the mob and waiting for it to die as well as 2 tick prayer flicking. I feel like movement is important, you talked about skipping tiles by running which I didn't know. I'm just trying to start raiding soon and you explain things very well.

When doing baba red x after boulders, if you stand next to the wall you dont need to worry about the gap, you won't fall.

Hey just a quick fix on Zebak pushing/pulling the jug to the rock will not* always have a safe-spot. If the jug hits the far corner of the rock it will explode but will not clear poison on the near part of the rock. Otherwise nice starting guide GJ!!
I thought that useful prayer plugin was banned. What is the name of that if it’s not?
The reorganizing one? Jagex recently green lit that (like a month or 2 ago I think?) pretty sure it's default in runelite now. You either right click the prayer icon... Or maybe ctrl or shift right click and select "prayer reordering"

Extra tip for Kephri's Medic invo : regular Chinchompas are just like a Craw's/Webweaver bow (3-tick attack speed on the medium fuse style and relatively fast projectile speed), but they're also one handed so you don't have to reequip your defender when going back to your fang ! They can also see some use against the thralls in the Monkey room.
Also, just recently (today even ?), the Tombs of Amascut plugin got an update to show you exactly where to place Mirrors in the Path of Het. Pretty cool !

How do u change ur prayer book like that dude?
If you're on runelite hold shift and right click the prayer icon. You can enable prayer reordering/filtering and set it to how you like :)

For UIM players, *do not ever put a death invocation on of any kind if you have things in a death bank*, I made this mistake, I dced during a solo raid and it counted as wiping, I lost 10K brews, about 6K super restores, over 10K stamina pots, 100K chaos runes, 40K deaths, 20K bloods, 6K dragon arrows, 3K crystal shards from CG, a Master Wand, as well as a few untradable things like herb sack and seed box etc.
Wonder if this also works like hardcores, in the hardcores case, status loss instead of items

question, how do you have the swarms highlighted, what is the ID for the true tiles.

Is it possible to butterfly through a whole Akkha kill? I saw guides that do it without him ever switching out of melee but I can never get em past the first quadrant even if I do it perfectly
Things I need to do:
Learn wave skip
Turn on pickaxe plugin
Learn butterfly
Ladder skip
Akkha dps skip
Baba red x (moving during cycle too)
They are all pretty useful! I would say ladder skip is the least useful of the bunch UNLESS you're going with people you don't trust to do memory right or if you have the double trouble invocation added

@PenSirOSRS credit due where credits earnt mate. I'm only 15kc at lvl 200 duos but got 6kc shadow in ky name and got a split of maosri body so it's going well. Going to copy as much info out this tomorrow and hopefully get my first solo.

Under npc indicators I have true tile checked, then I just shift right click the orbs to tag them :)

any better explanation for zebaks puzzle? 1:41 nothing said about how to time it perfectly to avoid spike damage.
If you start on any of the marked tiles and run (can't stop) you'll avoid it as long as you avoid poison
If you have "on a diet" on, you won't get any bonus food when you die. not sure if it is worth that, at least while still gaining confidence

Also wondering how you control the poop on kephri so you don't lock the mager in the corner. Should I stand on the other side of where you lock meleer in place then run counter clockwise all the way around to get to the mager once it spawns?
:) Gotta love the music
You can run next to the trap (against the wall) and kephri will only put one piece of poop there, or you can stack multiple poop diagonal. Even if the diagonal poop is on the arcane scarab you can still melee it. Standing on the other side is good as well, but as a general rule of thumb after the trap you want to place all poops on either diagonal that's next to the trap lines. This will leave most of the room free to run around.
If you're not sure she's about to poop she will do 5 auto attacks in between every "special" attack (which is either to eggs or a poop line). So try to be in a good spot when it's getting close to special attack time.

I'm pretty sure bofa is better dps than fang, I'll do a dps Calc later just to double check though

Jesus christ this raid seems insane. I am probably never going to copmplete this.
I am far away from having good enough melee / range / mage stats anyway,but the machanics of the bosses looks way to hard for me.
It's a bit daunting at first, if you ever want to go through a couple runs with somebody a lot of clans do learners or you can shoot me a pm!
I promise ya man, its easy with no invocation on and with multi-deaths on. you just progressively learn the bosses mechanics while you take on the raid. As someone who doesnt pvm much this was my first leap into pvm and It wasnt a big of a deal as i made it out to be in my head!

Medic is a horrible invocation for solos and is absolutely un necessary for a 340, just a tip 🙂
