    So you have to retune everytime you move the capo? So rolling capo's can be a problem?

      In an ideal world I would say yes. If you are playing with other musicians live or recording, I would certainly recommend tuning every time you move the Capo. Obviously if you are changing Capo position mid song then you may not have time to retune every time you move it. Also, the better the intonation on your guitar the better the tuning will be with the Capo placed on different frets. When playing live (if there is time) I'll tune after every song whether using a Capo or not. I would just say for everyone to get in the habit of tuning more, the more you do it the quicker you get at it so it becomes less of a fuss :) Re: rolling Capo, I have never used one personally as I prefer a Capo like the one I used in the video but I would say yes, they will cause the same issues so just move it and have a quick tune.     Hmmm, I'm the opposite - I avoid open strings whenever possible, I find the tone harsh and unrefined.
