Secrets are not beautiful when they are used against us. Truth has been hidden, language has been manipulated, in order that humans might have a false and negative view of ourselves. We have been steered to view each other as untrustworthy and violent in nature by secrets. We would have been much better off without this interference. But I take your point ( I think ), that to be open to new truths - the willingness to proceed even if scared, is the act of freedom.
Um, MANY ARE "violent by nature"and the entirety of human history bears this out and is imminently verifiable. People who have power and vast wealth don't just lose it and they never want to let it go once it's possessed. In a post-plaugue world with resource figts going on between the big dogs on the planet, everyone else needs to connect and care for each other best they can but remember: you cannot MAKE people think or feel some kind of way and can't who try, forfeit the higher moral ground INSTANTLY.

Life is a journey of discovery towards the revelation of the Mysteries of reality itself from the perspective of the individual, the fragmented view that collectively we all are a part of. And most definitely, whether we like it or not, there's a time and place for each stage or milestone of discovery which is tied to our conciential maturity.
