@@krvnjrcbs Ohhh mate, no i didn't. This bloke thinks rationally. Good luck in your endeavours globally.. or flattery if it helps you get thru the day.
Hey Fella and Fellet! I appreciate the amazing work you do with every video, but especially this Power Tour series. I've never been much of a gear head, but I love old trucks, just never had the confidence to work on vehicles. Watching your catalog the last couple years has made me confident that I can figure this stuff out, and if not, I'll just tap on things with a Tonya Harding, pair of vice grips, or just pretend I didn't see anything and that it's fine - and all will be good, as long as I have a boat gas can in the passenger seat with me, and some of that Marvel Mystery Oil.... nobody knows what's in it, it's a mystery! Also, my teenage daughter and I have always had a hard time finding similar interests, but she also loves your videos - so it's something we've been able to bond over, and speak in VGG-isms together. Anyways, I proudly wear around some VGG merch, it's the least I can do to repay you for the work you do, and joy your family spreads. Keeping my eyes open for a good C20 step side deal without too many speed holes, but plenty of stories left to make.
Hey Derek answer me this I'm just asking the old Chevy the whatever you call it the one with the straight-6 the wife's truck why is it so low in the back it really looks gay dude
So happy to see you guys take a step back and not go full on celebrity mode and actually connect with the fans. Truly awesome. It's awesome to see how far a guy has come from taping a phone to the garage door. You deserver every bit of success.
Congratulations Jessica for making the entire tour and earning a plaque 🎉 all of you for bringing us along for the ride, I really enjoyed it and I thank you all 👍✌️🇺🇲
It's crazy how you can film, drive, work on your vehicles, meet fans, eat, sleep and the edit and produce a new episode. I'm so thankful that you do so but I'm also staggered at the amount of work you do! Bravo! As a Ford guy, I'm glad Waylon turned out to be a good rig. It would be cool to see him on a Crown Vic chassis swap!
I 've follow the vic garage, very humble guy also hoping our Vice Grip Garage be as humble as Vic's..👍🏾 i'ts the true way to succeed in life. Blessess.
Missed finding you on my first power tour. One thing that has not been shown is the community response to the parade of cars in most of the towns.i was awestruck over the amount of people out cheering us on. All ages of folks, businesses, car clubs and even law enforcement cheering as went by, that is the memory that will stay with me forever!
Thanks Derek and Jessica for taking us along with you again this year. It is always a blast riding along with you and you always make it interesting. You are a special couple with some amazing boys that I wish more families were like you. Awesome ride and videos.
Tuning in from New Zealand and absolutely love your videos helpa me work on my own chevy often and has gotten me really hyped and wanting to make a trip to the states for hotrod power tour one year, Thanks Derrick and Family for the amazing content🤙
Besides you I have been following several other UA-camrs on power tour, and it is fun to see yall in each others videos and some of the same cars in multiple videos.
See Derek and jessica are just as inspiring if not more so as the cars. The fact they have found fame and fortune with VGG through shear hard work and having created one of the most successful YT channels also a TV series and been the face of o'reillys so on. what is inspiring is they both have thier feet firmly planted on the ground taking time with fans and keeping VGG the same as it was when it started. A big Thankyou guys for keeping the car scene alive from 1 of your million plus subscriber's.
I Derek. The trip tour is looking good. On that 292 in line vs the 302 V8. The 292 did 147 Hp, 8:1 compression back in those days. 302 did like 210 Hp at 9 to 9.5 to 1 compression (1968 numbers). Best, Paul
Don’t know if you will ever read this, but thanks for the trip. Awesome as usual. The dew car looks absolutely incredible, maybe for future consideration a street legal race truck?? God bless you and the family.
Those old Ford trucks will definitely grow on a feller. Thank you so much for bringing us along on the journey. You've inspired a guy to get his goin to town rig up to long haul specs. I hope to join the fun next year!
It's cool to wait for these on weekends, it's now about 1.30am when this came out. Was just about the hit the lights, but surely feller can go a bit longer with quality content! It's less fun on weekdays, but time zones and round earth are what we have to live with. 😂
Just wanted to wish all the Dad’s of the VGG community happy Father’s Day! Thank you Derek and family! For let us into your lives! God bless! And happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!
Derek and family, I love your channel. Not only entertaining and informative, but there is a recurring thread in every video about perseverance. You prove over and over again that you can have fun in the face of adversity. There's a "never give up" thing going on that hits home for me. I won't bore you with my story because everyone's got burdens to bear. Your knowledge and perseverance get you and your family to and through events HUNDREDS of miles away from home in vehicles so old and/or dodgy that most folks wouldn't trust them to go get groceries. Thanks for the videos and all that you guys do.
Absolutely awesome! Also, your wife, Jessica, is awesome too! I love the fact that she's so into driving this event and loves automotive hobbies! You guys are killin it!🙂👍🇺🇸
I just saw Brent from his Halfass Kustoms channel give you a shout for for your generosity after his tragic garage fire. You are a generous person. Thank you.
Awesome video series Derek! Thank you for putting all the effort in to making the high-quality videos that you do. I know sometimes it must be a pain in the butt!
Thank you for your efforts at posting, I’m sure it’s just another thing that burns your time! You are trying to enjoy this trip and you have pop-ups that keep you thinking. Your sharing this is a great joy for me. I can’t get away from work, the summer is passing and I am living vicariously through your escapades and I love it! Enjoy, your trip is a dream of mine. Thanks again!
You hit the nail on the head Derrick. I don't know what that 'newer car was". We all know what a Chevy n Ford truck is. Yall are driving through the Heart of America on those back roads. Where we all live. Lets see a 1/4 mile race between the Ford n Chevy.
Thanks for bringing us along for the ride, Derek. Power Tour is a bucket list thing for me, hoping to get out there in the next year or two. Appreciate you guys! Also, IMHO...rip the bags out of Longmire. That truck deserves a level ride and a nice set of shocks without the squat. Just my two pennies!
Inspired me to get the 78 nova custom 2 door coupe hard top on the road after 4 years. Man, much respect to this channel. Nobody is doing it like this guy. If he can get a abandoned riggety crusty dusty busty 1980s cheverlator on the road and travel 800 miles plus right off the rip… surely I can get my car back in the road. And I started turning the wrenches on it. 😌💯
A Guys Family has been watching your videos for years.Thank yall so much for the- family " slightly" Educational videos, Much Respect and Admiration for your family.!!!Good going Jessica on your plaque.
When you went through Boone it gave me cold chills that’s the way we used to go to see my dad and that was some of my favorite memories and it was good to relive them riding with y’all thank y’all for all you do
Nothing staged, Derek and Jessica show us the best parts of life, warts and all. When life hands you lemons ya put them in the whirly juicer.......great job keeping all the balls in the air and one hand on the wheel.
Just thinking out loud. Put Longmire on the lift. Drop it all the way down. Get a shock. Colapse it to the point that you're comfortable with. Then use the shock to play with finding a mounting point that you can live with. Thanks for the Power Tour week!
A guy saying “Just ignore that, it’s just AI” while watching coolant spill out everywhere, was pure gold!
I laughed too hard at that

That '66 Ford deserves some attention when you get it home. It needs some custom wheels and tires, too.
I keep trying to explain to people how a little VGG makes any day better. Thanks for all you do.
It really does! I’m a new subscriber and I also approve. Thanks also from col.oh.
Yeah man I'm on vacation right now but every Friday night I see a video and it reminds me that life isn't so bad.
Wow, thank you!
Great few days of watching, just need to add a 66 Dodge to the next tour
This has been maybe as much fun to follow as it has been for you guys to participate.... Bonus is we don't have to pay for gas.
Happy Father's day Derek. And all dads 🎉💯

Just thinking out loud. Put Longmire on the lift. Drop it all the way down. Get a shock. Colapse it to the point that you're comfortable with. Then use the shock to play with finding a mounting point that you can live with. Thanks for the Power Tour week!
Try running longer rear shocks at a drastic angle...longer shocks at an angle will give more travel than a shorter shock mounted vertically.
Glad you made it. Seems like that old Ford was a good investment! Thanks for letting us come on the journey with you.
Thanks for letting a feller who can no longer get out and to it to live vicariously through your sharing. Blessings to you all!
Good video with Derek, Jessica and both Chad's. Lots of fun on the tour!
Thanks for taking this old man of seven years old. On your trip. Brings back good memories.

This was my first Power Tour, and I have to say, it was awesome!
Rock on!
