Kfar Kitch to about 1 Mile past Kinneret overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Another awesome day of hiking with some amazing views 😊. 17.7 miles hiked today.
Me and Di are hiking the Israel National Trail, a 1015km trail that goes straight through the heart of Israel. We are wild camping where we can and we’re heading south to north.
This is a daily Vlog series of my hiking adventure and I’m editing and uploading on the trail as I go along. I only have basic equipment (my phone) so apologies if the audio isn’t great in places. I’m just working with what I have.

Love the random bag of food. I had one of those on my weekend trip on the last day. Hope you find more of those stone pools.
That’s one thing I love about hiking you always end up with random bits of food and it makes finding a shop that much better 😊 that pool we found was incredible, a great way to start the day 👍🏼

A lovely vid 🌼 I didn't explore Galilee much (to my shame) but I did swim in the Kinneret and camp on its' shores. Decades later, as a middle aged guy working with a bunch of lifeless 'do anything to be the boss's favourite' creeps I used to get PTSD type flashbacks of swimming in that same warm water that felt like silk, or a pretty girls' smile as we shared a joke. (Sounding like some old bloke now) Enjoy every second of your adventure young man 🌴🌞
At the age of 35 I feel like I’m just entering the middle-age bracket now. I know how you feel, I used to hate my job especially the politics of it all. It’s one of the reasons I’ve quit the system and stopped chasing money and decided to live frugally and hike as much as possible 😊 the Sea of Galilee was amazing it was shame we didn’t camp on the shores, but had incredible views in the money. Get Di a proper knife or a multi-purpose tool. Some amazing views and you continue to amaze with the distance. Maybe some dried/dehydrated goods could help but not sure of availability. One Love from Boca.

I am actually a knife snob and always carry a victorinox (which folds but isn't a multi tool) but I forgot to get it packed in my bag when Ryan picked it up when I rejoined him, so I had to survive the last 2 weeks hiking with a rubbish plastic thing😂
Thankyou Wilz 👍🏼 the views were incredible of the Sea of Galilee but the views get better on day 52 😊 food was definitely limited on this part of the trail with only a few little shops, so we just picked up what we could. Thanks for the support 🙏🏻😊
@@LifeofDi-alternative Classic. I should have known you had the right accouterment albeit missing in action. As a boat captain & SCUBA instructor, I have always carried a knife on my person because they always get lost. Actually, when diving I always have two blades, a multi-tool and a wee folding knife in my pocket. I have a friend in the IDF ending her tour in Dec and I am trying to convince her we should follow your lead, but I think she wants to lay on the beach for a year. Cheers. W.
