- Hiking the Israel National Trail - Day 49 & 50
Day 49 - Solelim woods nature reserve to Hoshaya. A low mileage day due to the extreme heat, we stayed with a lovely couple called Michelle & Robert who hosted us in there home. Incredibly nice people 😊 4 miles hiked today.
Day 50 - Hoshaya to Kfar Kisch. A hilly day with a lot of elevation with the highlight being My Tabor, incredible views at the top. 23.6 miles hiked today.
Me and Di are hiking the Israel National Trail, a 1015km trail that goes straight through the heart of Israel. We are wild camping where we can and we’re heading south to north.
This is a daily Vlog series of my hiking adventure and I’m editing and uploading on the trail as I go along. I only have basic equipment (my phone) so apologies if the audio isn’t great in places. I’m just working with what I have.

Mount Tabor was also the scene for the story of Deborah in the bible book of judges chapter 4 vs 6
It is a beautifull mountain indeed, very prominent in the landscape.

Mt Tabor was such an interesting place, it was so cool that the trail took us all around it, then up over it. We saw this mini mountain for 2 days. Very cool.
