It’s just the factor of a woman stalking you and breaking into your home is more than enough for spooky factors, It’s nice to see more realistic horror which prints a bigger and more psychological fear in your head.
Yeah true that's what I thought. Her design is surface wise not scary however that's what makes her haunting. This character looking exactly like a normal person scared me more than a supernatural or physically disfigured being. *shudder*
I love the fact that she and Sean are playing this at the same time. I tried to hear him screaming when she mentioned him, but unfortunately, I heard nothing. I waited until I played the game myself before I watched Sean's playthrough. I wish that I had done the same with the other episodes because, with the exception of a jump scare I was not aware of, I did not have the full thrill. @@Kairii-Kylie Sure, lots from personal experience. I've lived on farms my whole life, but nothing made me more afraid than the woods surrounding them. One time I was walking home from doing chores, and it was just about dark outside, I could just barely see the dark blueish sky and the outlines of trees. There was a large forest behind our house, and I often heard coyotes howling or turkeys flying up into the trees or deer snorting and running away as I went past them inside the woods. However, that one night when I was walking home alone, I heard something that was like a bellowing howl/scream. I'd never heard anything like it, even with all my time being taught by my dad who is a retired wildlife conservationist. I kinda stopped and looked at the forest, a little freaked out because honestly who wouldn't be. Where I live in the Midwest, the most we have to worry about is small rabid animals and the occational black bear, which are relatively small bears all things considered. Then I heard something start to move, coming up from the forest valley to where I stood on the road, disrupting what sounded like piles and piles of leaves in it's path. Needless to say I fucking bolted for the house and locked everything down. That night was probably the first time in 12 years that I relived my childhood fear of monsters.
As a dog walker and pet sitter I usually pet sit by myself while the owners are away. While I pet sit I have a rule that I can’t watch scary things because I will literally freak myself out so bad. That was a good/sad and scary story. What was that about anyway with the pizza guy wanting to stay inside while it rains? Who does that? - strange aspect of the story as well, was he somehow involved with Cara? And about Cara.. Sucks she was an addict and was about to murder someone she loved (in her own twisted way). Glad the guy survived and shared his story because I do believe it serves as a lesson. Love this series.
My take is it’s an opportunity to build tension - we get the pizza guy, the articles on Roy getting death threats, your mates mentioning that Cara has bought lots of beer, and some off handed comments about Alec being creepy. Each of these builds the sense of paranoia because any on their own might be innocent or might be very wrong, and that makes our brain work overtime waiting to find out. If that makes sense?
Yes, we never know how people may perceive danger and how we react to it. Perhaps he'd see her as danger, perhaps not. Perhaps they're both addicts and she'd tell him if he got inside he could get money for their next hit, I wonder what would happen if you let him in as we didn't see this version. And definitely, the whole time I was under the impression it would be another story where Roy was going to be the creep with the cameras and would've brought the pizza guy in for some weird snuff film type of thing. It does lead to paranoia as you've stated.

I've always just been very hard to spook, which is such a shame because it makes me extra picky with what I CAN/DO enjoy. This game however,, I audibly YIPPED in fear the first time Gab encounters the stranger - my partner thought something was wrong and rushed to me 😭💕 the atmosphere the dev creates is absolutely perfect, theyve had me on the edge of my seat all three times in complete anxiety. The fact that all of these scenarios are very real and connect to a very human, primal part of the brain, even down to the way that Gab plays them! Everything is just so perfectly terrifying and I cannot wait for the next entry,, thank you so much Rayll, for creating a phenomenal psychological experience 💝 and thank you Gab for allowing a broke artist like myself experience their work at a pace similar to my own~ Im really excited to play it all myself when I get the chance! 🥰💞

I have this on in the background while I work, but that hand commercial caught my attention and made me focus. Is that Markiplier's voice as the announcer? Google doesn't say anything about him voice acting in it, but that voice sounds so close to his, I have to wonder. Cracked up at the part where Sean's screams distracted Gab for a moment. Have to wonder how often that happens since she is so much more of a low key, quieter player than he is.

Did anyone else notice Cara leaving the store on Sean's playthrough? Then the boys in Gab's say she just left. 😨
These games have reignited my ability to feel genuine fear, and i seriously could not be more grateful haha
I grew up very desensitized to horror unfortunately. 🥰💞
This fear to fathoms episodes definitely has to be my favorite!! It was so creepy!!
ngl in total ive seen 4 gameplays of this game & just gotta say its pretty impressive how this game makes people so paranoid lol its so cool when a game doesnt only rely on jumspares to scare ppl, this game does a good job messing with ur head
Yes! I was waiting for Gab to play this, so I can watch her playthrough before other UA-camrs'. Time for cocoa and blankets! ❤❤❤
I do love watching Evelien and Sean's playthroughs one after another to see their distinct play styles!
😄
Funny watching your play through after Sean’s. I appreciate Sean’s intensity and I love that you slowly work through it and check everything. 💕
YAY! So excited to wake up to you playing this 🥺 welcome back! 💘
I legit waited until I saw Gab's playthrough to get excited and finally watch someone play. Loved it.
AHH when jack posted his playthough of this i was like... gosh i hope gab plays this too. i loved his run and i am so happy you ended up playing it too!!!!
Oh my gosh I LOVE the Hand Merchant ad I’d watch that every time
22:13
Watching both gab and jacks playthrough are on such different planes 😂 I love them both so much
*Hell yeah* I saw Sean play it and i was waiting for your gameplay :D
aaah forgot to wathc this got other things to do,was in holiday, then work, but now after 2 weeks finishing the vid
me:*after the jumps scare, while she's walking* me: "I'm just gonna put my bowl over the screen"
Also now she's going to check out where the girl is I think so I'm taking my sweet time eating my cereal and putting my bowl over my phone again 🤣 I know this ain't important but it sure is pretty funny
That’s so relatable 😂
Im glad to see the dev improving overtime.
This episode was a step back. It's a "remix" of the first one.
I LOVE when you play spooky games Gab its so soothing. I'm too scared to play by myself though! lolll
Glad you're feeling better. Hopefully you fully recover without many lingering symptoms (I had extra exhaustion for a couple weeks after I had it). All the best to you!
Happy to hear you feeling better to. I got covid Sept 2nd and still have fatigue but slowly getting better.
Currently in the throes of COVID (take 2) and can confirm I spend half the day sleeping.
Stay safe out there, peeps. And good luck with recovery. ❤
@The Lexicon I do the same thing snd sometimes when I up my body hurts struggle to do normal stuff
@@707ridah and @The Lexicon I hope you both can get back to some normalcy over time. Also, same with the sleeping all the time when sick with COVID.
@Maliciosity thank you, I really appreciate that.. I hope you feel better as well. Since i still have symptoms I can't go back to work until I'm 💯 %. So now I'm trying everything to feel that way.
i love how yesterday i watched Sean's video then this pops up and i remember exactly the moment Gab's on about at 10:20 lmao
Thanks
The fact that Cara is 21 years old while Noah is just 18 is already disturbing enough
The chewing on the pizza was personal
Oo this game looks great! Missed you Gab! I'm so glad you're feeling better!
The laundromat in the opening is definitely the same asset set that Arcade Paradise uses. FYI, that's a great game! I highly recommend it if you like Sims and fun mini games
I haven't felt a chill from a horror game in a looooong time. Sorry this person had to go through this im glad he's ok.
I bursted into tears when I saw Gab look upon my country’s flag, pause and say “okay you’re getting too scary for me “ and turned off the game 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Norwood Hitchhike is still my favorite but this one was something special
Gab, when she sees the door to the basement: But it’s private!
Sean, when he sees the door to the basement: slippity splass it’s time to trespass!
I like how the puppy was unharmed.
So glad I watched this stream! It was so spooky and cool 😭😭
Lol, me moment whenever she "escorts" the dog back to their home.
"No one hurts doggo.."
The moment it got silent at 58:55 I knew you were done for and I still jumped when it happened 😂
So UHH maybe watching this when I have the house to myself on this stormy night was not such a great idea 😱🤣 I better switch to Stardew for a bit LOL
This series is sooooo scary but so good!! 👀✨
25:00 when u get to the shop it sure feels like a Puppet Combo/Chilla's Art game :D
this was such a fun stream totally worth almost breaking my shoulder by how hard i tensed with the jumpscare lmao love this series
A cute little detail that I noticed was that in Sean's playtrough he got the Irish flag and on Gab's playtrough she got the flag of the Netherlands.
These games are always so creepy and things can be different with each gameplay. I wish they put out episodes quicker cos they are so good. It's based on real life horror stories. Not some weird supernatural beings or cheap jumpscares like most other games. Respect to the creators.
I'm glad you're back and hopefully feeling better!
pov: your name is noah and you live in the midwest and the ages are damn near the same as in the game... im loving life
If someone cuts the power to a house I'm housesitting, I'm screaming for help from the neighbors and I'm calling the cops and also the dog is coming with me everywhere I go XD
22:34 "That's a lot of fingers."😉
i like that you actually play the game thoroughly and appreciate it
I love gabs and the little doggos nom nom sounds
Been waiting so long for this next chapter. These are soo creeeepy.
Because I watch you everyday I had a different video on that I consciously chose and then this one started playing after…….I never would have chosen it to watch but I must say I will now watch the others in the series because it was better to watch you play than playing it myself! ❤
Love how at the start of the video I studied that there was three knives in the kitchen on the holder, after the oven was turned on and gab went out I seen only 2 remained. I don't think anyone noticed that bit of detail, I would have picked up on the E-mediatly. I'm a knife guy
This was a really good episode. I really liked the peripheral content on the tv and such that was used to unsettle and distract
Dude! Did anyone else see? A knife was missing from the kitchen table after the oven was turned on!
I just noticed this and it genuinely freaked me out
Its basically episode 1 but with added mechanic of cameras(which was useless btw).
Home alone - home alone
Eating lasagna in front of tv - eating pizza in front of tv
doing science homework - doing math homework
creep gets in and hides in 1 room - creep gets in and hides in 1 room
most expensive of the anthology yet its complete repeat of first part. Its filled with bugs, unclear event flags and absolute laziness("too lazy to model the garage"... rly?)
I'm actually watching Gab play this before watching Jacksepticeye play it. How the turns have tabled...
I did what you see here.
I watched the "How to be a better person" video 3 times for the drumbeat. Lol. I started humming a bassline for it.
Object movement! 40:19
I love how females play this, and we are "pizza guys don't carry duffle bags, and random pizza is a no go. You don't eat pizza that just shows up at the door unordered." The guys have all been "Free pizza?! So eating that right now."
You really did the "females" and "guys" thing..
@@sariasutcliff1420 when i read that it left a bad taste in my mouth hahaha
@@sariasutcliff1420I've seen other women call women "females." Not really that big of a deal...
@@happilyisolated 1. this is 9 months old, 2. there's a difference between if a woman does it than if a man does it
@@sariasutcliff1420 1. Welcome to the internet and posting in a public forum. How are you?
2. Ooooooh it's okay if a woman does it? Hilarious. Have a good night :)
Congrats on testing negative for Covid the other day btw! Excited you're back
Imagine if the game had her voice picking up like Seán's gameplay
This Is Probably My Most ( Yet ) Favorite Episode, It Was Just So Scary How They Added Cameras.....
54:39 Roy's color changed earlier once the contact info was saved at 8:20.
1:04:42 - Music is definitely inspired by one of Halloween (1978) tracks "The Haunted House"
the laundry mat reminds me of the one from the movie Everything, Everywhere All At Once.
this was so good! I'm really loving what this developer is putting out
“Knife missing? In the kitchen?” Observation Duty moment
😂 when Chris from CJUgames played this, the first time the protagonist used the toilet he peed on mat on the floor Infront of the loo 🤣. Seems it's very realistic with the distance you stand from the loo. And Chris didn't have him near it. The protagonist then comments that the owner won't like that. Good to hear you laughing Gab 😊
Game seems like really good fun.
Love your videos, thanks! :)
Was so excited for you to play this! It's so creepy. Very happy you're ok! ❤️
Hey are you the same Jen from streams. Jen and Rocky? 🙂
@Kylie The Dandere no. Don't know what that is sorry.
Deze games zijn mijn favoriet🥰 I love your content!
I’ve already watched Sean’s play through and honestly think that this episode, in particular, can kinda be a bit of a pain in the ass to complete if you aren’t following the “script” precisely. Still a very good episode
the entire time, i'm like STOP GOING OUTSIDE, CHECK THE CAMERAS! lol
I love how realistic they keep these games. Like the kid eating an entire tray of lasagne in the first one, and this one not thinking to put the milk in the fridge. American boys, I tell ya.
22:50 I can easily see Seán making memes about the hands commercial lol I'll have to watch his video to find out
