Roseburg is a town in the state of Oregon, in the US, where I was raised! The majority of western Oregon is covered in dense fir and pine tree forests. I live in one of them! Not hard to believe spooky stuff has happened though. The state parks / wilderness areas can span massive areas. The one I live in is 630,000 acres or 984 square miles.
I live near Roseburg!! as soon as she said it i was like "i wonder if its the one in Oregon? How many other Roseburgs are there?" its always fun to see the area you grow up depicted in games and media.

It is always wild to see the differences in someone raised female vs someone raised male with these horror games. Gab immediately knew something was off when she saw her door open while Jack didn't even notice it. Gab knew a lot of what feels like VERY BASIC safety tactics while Jack ran around with the bear spray 😅 As someone who is ftm, I am always a little floored to see the contrast
Men aren't used to having to use maces/bear sprays for protection and it shows 😂 He sprayed it in enclosed environments, sprayed it in front of him and ran right through the mist, sprayed it all around as if he was applying bug repellant... Sean would be blind as a bat and coughing up a lung for a good while if he did something like that for real 😂 I know most of it wasn't serious but still

I saw this came out and there’s a few videos from other creators out there already but have been waiting for Gab to play it. She’s just so sweet and chilled, even with horror games, and really focuses on the stories. It’s so much nicer to watch (no shade to Sean and others, I guess I’m just getting old 😂)!

You never meet Mitch, Connor figures out your name to give to the creep Silas, not to mention Connor keeps having YOU go out and check the issues (not new to doing this, but new to the area), the Ranger is conveniently telling you not to go farther down Lacey Trail, and for the fact the for someone who gets so irritated by these unauthorized "campers" Connor didn't think to at least look at who was down there while the cult was starting a fire and warn you about it? Mhmm....sure...

Dude these games are definitely up there with some of my all time indie horror favorites. They’re so captivating and strike that balance between building tension within the story and outright scares.
Honestly only 7 minutes in and already laughing at the difference between Gab parking the RV at the diner, vs. Jack parking the RV at the diner. Amazing 😂
I think the "why didn't you take a photo" is actually part of the story Since no one believed him bc he didn't have proof, but the game let you know you can take photos, you're just into other things to bother take proof

That moment when you see Latvian (at the tire/mechanics shop - the first building u saw when getting off the RV) in one of these games. That was more than unexpected. Did not know most people even knew our little country exists xD As always - a great playthrough, Gabs. As soon as I watched Jack's I kept waiting for yours. I agree ! John Wolfe played a shorter game called Do you copy that was similar to the camper section. It was excellent too ! I think this dev might have been inspired by it. Firewatch is one of my favorites too.
Gab is an example of why everywhere has to have 500 "NO PARKING" signs. There's like 4 or 5 and she ignored them all and blocked the trail, good crap. She can notice a shadow 100m away in pitch black, but not the bright signs hahahaha...at least she reparked
I hate how I get so unbelievably paranoid in this level "Ironbark" even though I know what's going to happen but it's just the feeling that you know there's someone out there and that you have to be vigilant. Especially over the fact that you have to go down to get supplies and back up while risking your exposure to threats.

Ive watched 4 channels play this now, 2 no commentary, and 2 commentary, each one is so different, love it! Fears to Fathom games are so good with little details obscured by older style graphics and grainy filters, everyone notices different things

They said she just up and left (if I remember correctly), plus Tower 11 is awfully close to the abandoned part of the woods! I'm not sure if all of the staff are part of this mess but some of them do act very suspicious! 👀

Gab is an example of why everywhere has to have 500 "NO PARKING" signs. There's like 4 or 5 and she ignored them all and blocked the trail, good crap. She can notice a shadow 100m away in pitch black, but not the bright signs hahahaha...at least she reparked

I hate how I get so unbelievably paranoid in this level "Ironbark" even though I know what's going to happen but it's just the feeling that you know there's someone out there and that you have to be vigilant. Especially over the fact that you have to go down to get supplies and back up while risking your exposure to threats.
