Gabby translating everything and checking if the phrases are written correctly in japanese, korean and/or any other language she knows, plus explaining the context while (sometimes) telling us about her experiences living there back in the day always makes me smile

Deep-vein thrombosis is when a blood clot forms in an extremity (usually a leg). Sometimes those clots then break loose and move into the lungs, causing issues. It's known to occur to frequent travelers thanks to all the sitting they do encouraging clots to form in the legs.
I'm guessing that the player character had a near-death experience due to the clot, and coincidentally brushed against the afterlife at the same time as the siblings were killed.
I think the sister and brother were hit by the train also.
The brother and sister are the only Chilla's Art character's that didn't give me the uncanny valley vibe. The sister is actually super pretty, the prettiest character I've seen by Chilla's Art tbh.

It's interesting, the game kind of hints at the ending right off the bat. "His sister won't wake up" and they're even sitting in row "4" or "Shi".
It's a really nice bit of foreshadowing! I'm also wondering if the siblings died on the train tracks, or if something happened on the train that resulted in their deaths.

There's an anomaly that didn't occur in your playthrough but in the car with the blue seats there is a creepy anomaly I came across when I played this where the bag above where the sister is sitting in row 4 actually becomes like a weird folded person or human skin or something like that
And another anomaly in the other section of the train where edgelord is and there is an invisible person in one of the rows that actually moves and looks at you

Its more of an 'Exit 8' clone, and I don't say that with any disrespect either. Gab played that game on the channel already, I recommend it.

I just have to say, gab in the green car asking why she's having a hard time remembering the switched rules--that's exactly the kind of thing they test for with ADHD! Changing rules between similar tasks requires your brain to simultaneously remember new rules and inhibit the old rules, which taxes your focus. They did just that kind of thing in my ADHD testing, although it wasn't cool Chilla's horror. 💖

Gab's editor is so subtle with their editing that I sometimes get startled or creeped out by the editing (which I absolutely love-understated creepy vibes is exactly why I watch Gab in the first place). Like when Gab mentions the cat poster at 16:09 and there's this quiet little meow-trill I got startled for a sec 😂
I had the same reaction! lol I thought it was an anomaly at first because there was also a small sparkle effect on the poster.

So it's Exit 8 but by Chilla's. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept, but was surprised to see Chilla's doing something so out of character from their usual M.O. As always, I will always watch Gab's video first, I live for the live translations and Japanese culture fun facts.

53:02 it's considered an economy-class thing because of how cramped the seats are. this risk is also present on long flights (unless you're in first/business class, ofc). according to my elders that keep nagging people about vein appearance (LOL) you can reduce the likelihood of deep vein thrombosis from happening by staying hydrated and getting up to walk a bit and stretch every so often (train or plane), as well as giving yourself as much legroom as possible to avoid keeping your legs bent for an extended period of time.

Also, the green payphone in this game tells you the remaining anomalies. There's at least 25 anomalies for both normal and green car.

The fact that my fight or flight reflexes kicked in when you entered the forest car really says something about me.

The one that led to the second announced mistake was that the guy reaching for the bag had a demon face visible from the left side only. It was only visible for a second when you walked by and then when you checked him you only looked from the right side.

I watched Manlybadasshero’s playthrough last night and was excited to watch yours as well. Gotta give credit to Chilla for putting a cool spin on the Observation Duty/anomaly spotting horror genre game.
This is the third game of this style of observation duty/anomaly spotting so far, I think. But this one has a story instead of just being purely an anomaly spotting game.
The green car being more observation duty-esque was pretty cool. I like the blending of the styles. Still don't fully sense the Chilla's footprint in some parts of it, but it was a fun game anyway. The ending 2 though was much more Chilla's. The seats moving spooked me good.
Watched a Japanese UA-camr play this before anyone else did and a few others. I was waiting for you to play cuz no one else understands anything.
If you interact with the phone during your run throughs of each car, when it doesn’t say “…” it will say “## remaining” in Japanese but only say the number in the subs. It’s telling you how many anomalies are left. 25 for each ticket class section I think.
I also think the old man in the bathroom area is referencing the Matrix but I’m not sure.
Your favorite anomaly reminds me of an old variety show skit some Japanese show did a while ago.

It was a fun video and chances are nothing more will come of it, but if you play again to look for more anomalies, you should know the green phone in the restroom area between car's will tell you how many undiscovered anomalies are left to find

For other people watching it would be easier if you just walk backwards that way you can see any differences without having to look in every chair to be sure.

So cool to see another game like Exit 8, and even better to watch Gab play it! I love when she translates the Japanese signs and dialogue for us. My favorite anomaly was the car filled with flowers and shrubbery, and the creepiest was the man following you who was only visible in your reflection

Chilla's Art version of this type of game feels wayyyyy scarier to me, they do have somewhat scary model and anomalies. The man under the seat and the nurse outside tbh poster anomaly scared the crap out of my soul
My theory is this is about purgatory :O MC is chosen somehow to help lead the dead (brother and sister) to the other side (the cherry blossom areas), and gets hurt in the process because he really isn’t supposed to be there! Just an idea :3

Yes, so interesting Chilla's Art put this in the game! I'm guessing they are fans and put it in as a little homage. I think it came out in 2022 though, at least in Europe that's when it was released. Definitely a horror highlight in recent years.

For the second car, there are a few anomalies not sure how many anomalies but I know 2 anomalies that can make you reset the current progress is
1. The glowing eye guy stand up and he will catch you if you dont get away from him fastly.
2. The cart lady will literally ran towards you with the food cart lol

For a game with a similar setting but a completely different tone, I feel like I should recommend _What Comes After,_ a really sweet little indie title set on a train ferrying the dead to their rest.

28 is in fact a distorted face staring back through the reflection in the window, but the view angle blocked it. you can sorta make it out if pausing. especially if you compare it to the next loop.
one of my favorite things about gab is anytime I find a game I REALLY want to play on steam she almost always picks it up within a day or two

I saw a German streamer play this before your run, and surprisingly, the German subtitles seem more accurate than the English ones for once. Fortunately, you understand Japanese so well, so it's still no problem, but I'd imagine the subs to be rather confusing to someone who only understands English
