My friend actually had this happen to her once. Two guys broke in whilst she was in the house alone when we were about 16/17. She was on the phone to both her mum and the police when one walked into her bedroom. Luckily they ran when they saw her, but I just imagine all the horrible things that could've happened instead. But later the mother sends the picture of the intruder at the front door (you can even see the intruder at the door if you go down stairs). So was the shadow going up the stairs just the kids imagination?
Gab, actually if you see the intruder at the front door, you can start locking all the doors as your mom advised, especially the back door and then hide. By doing so, it delays the intruder from trying to get in and Paula will be rushing towards the front door, enough to scare the intruder away. @@JeantheSecond the reason I freak out when I'm alone for too long is because I've watched WAY too much Criminal Minds, CSI, Numbers, etc. And, women all over (and men) have shared their stories of what happens when they're alone. I fear someone coming into the house when I can't protect myself.
When I was little, I use to watch my brother play games - they are some of my favourite memories ever. Gab is just like an older sister and gives me such nostalgia, it's so fun watching her let's plays, she's such a chill and calming presence too 😌 love you gab!
These are legit fears that many of us have, I know that I for one am always scared that someone may break into my house while I'm asleep, this game does a great job of portraying that fear.
Came here after watching Jacksepticeye play. This had me much less on edge than his playthrough. I was shaking in my boots the entire time through both, though.
Theres also a few cool moments you can see in the game, at the end if you get the good ending you can see paula at the door with the police car there and then while your eating and watching tv pay attention to the stairs at the back you can see the intruder walking upstairs
5:37 she missed the most tense part, the game loses it's scare factor without it, the devs should force you to look at the stairs after the second bite
I was thinking the same thing although it's kind of nice that you can miss it. It's like real life, someone could be creeping around and you could easily miss it if you're distracted : )
i think it’s good that it’s optional. people go into this game knowing there’s a home invasion going to happen, so they’re naturally on edge and hyper aware. not people like her though, i guess. she didn’t even bother reading or checking the messages
This was a really enjoyable experience. Thank you for bringing this game (series of games?) to attention. I'm so phobic about people looking into my window. The mechanic of lifting up and peering through the blinds is awesome. So looking forward to more!
This game. I've always lived in apartments in upper floors and the idea of someone casually waltzing up and looking through the windows and having multiple accesses to the living space is terrifying 😬
Given the title of the (series of?) games, maybe the creator wants to explore common things that'd terrify any normal person? With this being a house invasion, it'd be cool if they explored other things too that AREN'T supernatural, but are legitimate concerns or fears anyone could have :) Awesome playthrough!
I think so too, I believe all of these stories are going to be heavily based off of actual people’s experiences which is way more terrifying than ghosts in my opinion.
When you were looking out through the window and that guy was there, i was like "Michael Myers, is that you?" 😂 Your voice is so calming and your videos helps me get through the days of depression. So.. Thank you Gab.. ☺
There's an ending where your mom text you that it's ok for you to go open the door it's her friend Paula, you would have to sneak pass the intruder and run to the door. At the end you hug your mother and the cops are there too
The hardest part of this game for me was getting that lasagna in the oven I swear. Also, seeing the person walking up the stairs while you eat on the couch absolutely terrified me!
Omg that was so weird but perfect timing 😂 just before 14:49 I whispered out loud “don’t move” and gab immediately afterwards said “I’m not moving!” oof 😅
just watched Jacks play this, so now I had to watch your video. It'll be fun to see the different reactions! Jack saw the feet walking upstairs and was super paranoid the entire game (as you should be xD) and I'm at the part of your video where you just eaten the lasagna and missed the feet, and it's an entire different vibe xD
I had one of those weird room layouts like that game. And at first, I had my bed where I couldn't see the front door immediately, and it took a week of being home alone at like 14 to change that lol. Being home alone a lot was really nice until it wasn't, lol. This was so spooky! I loved it.
Whenever I try and do the your-not-real thing and hit them, I usually either actually feel when I hit them and they attack me, or they just attack me first because my arms do that moving-in-water slow thing.
so good! i was so tense watching this with my lights dimmed and my curtains closed while everyone else is asleep. the fact i for some reason hate doorbells didn't help at all. can't wait for next episodes!
@9:58 I once had a very similar sleep paralysis dream. The man was resting his chin on the end of the mattress directly, rather than on his hands. He didn't have a face, just a blank void where the face should have been, and he was gripping either side of mattress. I suddenly started gravitating towards him like I was on a conveyor belt and since it was a sleep paralysis thing I couldn't move, but I pretty quickly woke up.
Gab talking about scary dreams I gotta unload too. I'm one of those people that have sleep paralysis ish thing, and I say "ish" because I can move. My brain is just between sleeping and being awake so I see shadow people. Nothing scary like you said about there being a guy at the edge of the mattress (that sounds genuinly horrible!!!) but people walking past my door, maybe 2 shadow people chatting in another room that I can see because of a mirror. And one of the wildest ones was grass appearing on my floor leading up to my wall and then there was a woman just hangin, chillin out, on my wall. They only last for a couple of seconds but I keep getting scared awake from it and then I'm like "oh, the shadow people.. yes..." and then I just go to sleep again. Incredibly greatful I can actually turn around and go to sleep tho, I'm quite scared of getting paralysis part of it as well.
I will never understand people who sleep with their blinds wide open. The moment the sun goes down the blinds do too, ain't nobody looking in. "Oh I like to wake up with the sunlight", first of all, screw that noise, I wake up with an alarm and that's that, screw sunlight. Second of all, sure, you wake up with sunlight, and sleep with creeps staring at you. Noooo thank you.
true. I still like to keep my blinds open, otherwise it's too depressing for me. but, my bed is on the second floor. so no one would see me, but if it was on first - I would probably kept my blinds closed and just opened them, right after I woke up. what really bothered me here, and Gab's mention it - is that you have to see a door from your bed! now that's would be troublesome for me if I couldn't see a door. but again, the layouts of that room - only one window and it's next to the door. I guess I would just moved my bed closer to the desk. and think of something to fill up the space in the back of a room.
@@Kraftst0ff oh absolutely. I'm personally fine with not seeing my bedroom door but that layout was a damn mess! So much space just, there, not being used in any proper way! Then again the thought of seeing a door open, but either not seeing anyone standing there, or knowing they can see ME freaks me out. If a door opens and I can't see who's opening it, they can't see me either, and I can hide.
I keep my blinds open, I get woken up by the sunrise and I love it, I as well need alone time waking up and with nature or I am in a bad mood the whole day 😅
One of my biggest fears is being at home and somebody I don't know is suddenly there or they're staring through the window, so this game absolutely nailed that fear holy shit
I had this really spooky experience after watching another one of your horror vids recently. I was home alone, left my room to do something, closed the door behind me because I couldn't let my cat out (flea quarantine), and when I returned to my room, the door didn't open! I thought my own door had gotten locked from the other side. It turns out, though, that I just hadn't used enough strength on the knob for some reason. But I stood there wide-eyed for a moment and still felt uncomfortable walking back in after that. The feeling stayed with me for a while after, what if I wasn't alone, and someone had locked my own door? What were they doing in my room? :S
I love how when she's talking about the back door she just completely misses the side door being wide open even as she looks right at it several times. Dat occasional tunnel vision!
He probably rang the bell after breaking in to lure someone to the door as he's inside, hiding and watching. But that would quite explain the constant ringing
Gab: "You really heated up the whole thing, dude! Well, I guess they're fourteen - don't really think about portioning and leaving stuff for later..." Me, a twenty-four year old: 👁️👄👁️🚬
I watched both Gab and Sean play both episodes. I love how Gab is redesigning the kid’s bedroom. I feel the same way though. It would drive me crazy to not see the door.
I agree with you about the bed and the door Gab. I also have to have my door shut when I sleep and I have to face the door as well. If my back is to the door I can’t sleep. 😂
I was excited to try this game then I couldn't even make it through this episode from all the anxiety.. and now watching you play this is giving me anxiety all over again haha
This game is really really great, i love this series and so excited with another episodes. The fact that i saw the second one of your gameplay before this lol.
I would freak out with the house colour and the layout too. I WOULD ALWAYS BRING WATER TO MY BEDROOM. Because I would literally wake up at night. If I saw any light at all, I would lose my moment of sleepiness. And all the doors are always locked, I dont care if its my friends unless they call me that they are here. (But I wouldnt have friends going at 1am). Dogs are really good at knowing when theres an intruder, our dogs are big so ppl would be freaked tf at. And I would always see the door in my bedroom.

Damn, I’ve been doing this till my 30s))
Every UA-camr I’ve watched save for one misses the intruder on the stairs 😭😭 it’s hilarious bc eating all that lasagna is more important
missed it twice! Lmao
@@carallenaanderson7856 Just watched jacksepticeye's version he didn't miss it
@@carallenaanderson7856 Sean didn’t miss it. Go watch his to be more spooked 😂
JohnWolfe saw it too.
Gab: click to hide? No i wanna see who tf is at the door
Jack: hide hide hide (later) i need a weapon
When I was little, I use to watch my brother play games - they are some of my favourite memories ever. Gab is just like an older sister and gives me such nostalgia, it's so fun watching her let's plays, she's such a chill and calming presence too 😌 love you gab!
I love how deeply she explores all the games she plays
These are legit fears that many of us have, I know that I for one am always scared that someone may break into my house while I'm asleep, this game does a great job of portraying that fear.
Came here after watching Jacksepticeye play. This had me much less on edge than his playthrough. I was shaking in my boots the entire time through both, though.
During Jack's I was clutching my own arms so fucking hard. His fear was my fear.
Theres also a few cool moments you can see in the game, at the end if you get the good ending you can see paula at the door with the police car there and then while your eating and watching tv pay attention to the stairs at the back you can see the intruder walking upstairs
5:37 she missed the most tense part, the game loses it's scare factor without it, the devs should force you to look at the stairs after the second bite
what happened?
Too busy enjoying the movie on the little tv and yummy lasagna to be bothered by stairs. Ha ha ha!
@@mossbeans apparently the intruder was in the house, and their shadow can be spotted walking up the stairs while you're eating.
Man with an obnoxiously tall ladder: Hello there.
That’s what makes this series absolutely terrifying. Knowing that people have experienced something similar in real life absolutely horrifies me.
That wasn't a dude in your dream, that was just BB in his warehuman form
He’s like tanaka from black butler, the smoke was because he went back into tiny form

@@sirpuggington1727 you and BB been hitting the town, having a good time?
Here after watching Jack play this.. Damn this shit's scary, but I love how bravely Gab handles it
I feel like jacks was also scarier bc he saw them go upstairs and explored the house more
@@horselover9597 yeah his was way scarier tbh because of his reactions. And also because, as you said.. He saw the intruder go upstairs.
@@user-bv7lg5wi5p true he was much less calm and he knew it was a home invasion much earlier which left more time for suspense as well
That was the first jumpscare that's gotten me in a minute... Helps that he clipped through the wall, I think
The fact that Gab thinks a few hours of homework is hefty breaks my heart
The amount of hours spent on hw was awful. I remember spending 2 hours on just math alone and then had English and other stuff after that.
When you were looking out through the window and that guy was there, i was like "Michael Myers, is that you?" 😂 Your voice is so calming and your videos helps me get through the days of depression. So.. Thank you Gab.. ☺
What helped me in this video was when she saw him come out the door and she went AAAAAaaAaDubbaDubbaDUBBADUBBADUBBA!
It's funny how Gab and Jack reacted to a lot of the game in the exact same way
That scare went straight to my heart, not lying I felt the pain and shock in my chest ‘:]
いや〜、ちょうど今の日本のこの暑い季節にピッタリな動画でした...

あとGabさんの見た夢の話、こっわ!!!
I’ve never been so happy to have already finished a game just so I can watch you go through it.
Omg that was so weird but perfect timing 😂 just before 14:49 I whispered out loud “don’t move” and gab immediately afterwards said “I’m not moving!” oof 😅
It was as though you were playing as Garfield when watching the television.
just watched Jacks play this, so now I had to watch your video. It'll be fun to see the different reactions! Jack saw the feet walking upstairs and was super paranoid the entire game (as you should be xD) and I'm at the part of your video where you just eaten the lasagna and missed the feet, and it's an entire different vibe xD
THE MUSIC FOR THAT TV SHOW WAS SOOO AWESOME!!! Need a soundtrack of that like, now!!! ♥️
Not one for horror games like these besides FNAF but I’ll watch this for Gab!!
I revisit old Gab videos while I do chores sometimes- I forgot about the game over sound and nearly jumped out of my skin
I had one of those weird room layouts like that game. And at first, I had my bed where I couldn't see the front door immediately, and it took a week of being home alone at like 14 to change that lol. Being home alone a lot was really nice until it wasn't, lol. This was so spooky! I loved it.
YASS! Just refreshed my feed to see this uploaded 9 seconds ago!!
If you watch the stairs when you're eating you can see someone's feet going up.
love gab's expressions in the thumbnails 😁
@9:58 I once had a very similar sleep paralysis dream. The man was resting his chin on the end of the mattress directly, rather than on his hands. He didn't have a face, just a blank void where the face should have been, and he was gripping either side of mattress. I suddenly started gravitating towards him like I was on a conveyor belt and since it was a sleep paralysis thing I couldn't move, but I pretty quickly woke up.
This is a pretty scary game because it is realistic. An intruder is more scary than any monster in my opinion.
I keep my blinds open, I get woken up by the sunrise and I love it, I as well need alone time waking up and with nature or I am in a bad mood the whole day 😅
My own flat is on the 2nd floor, so I am not worried at all. Also, vitamin D is very good for me.
Omg this looks so cool! Can’t wait for more 😊
Not me watching your other videos, and I refresh and there’s a new one, so excited 🥰
I'm a new fan! Watching you makes me believe that I can courage through horror games as well.
One of my biggest fears is being at home and somebody I don't know is suddenly there or they're staring through the window, so this game absolutely nailed that fear holy shit
I am terrified of that ever happening to me, I would probably hide and cry the entire time
I had this really spooky experience after watching another one of your horror vids recently. :S
Gab it's increíble how I started seeing your videos of fatal frame and now you're just all grown up in every way, I really hope the best for you♥︎
The way Gab explained how she would fix the bedroom was the exact same way I was fixing it in my head 😅😅
Aw, you weren't looking at the TV the entire time and missed the feet walking up the stairs. That's one of the creepiest parts!
I love how when she's talking about the back door she just completely misses the side door being wide open even as she looks right at it several times. Dat occasional tunnel vision!
16:02 aaaahhhh 😂😂😂😂Paula get the F&@$ in the house

You are finally playing it!!! Time to get busy!!!! So excited 😆
I’ve watched to many horror films to have my room set out like this. She’s not wrong though.
So happy to see you play this game ♥️
I think it’s strange first mom says don’t answer no matter why happens then she says it’s Paula at the door everything is cool… that’s not right to me
Paula came later...
Me thinking the man killed mom and took her phone: *WHAT THE FU*_Car honks_
Loved it! You did miss an important scare while you were eating the lasagna and watching TV.
i went back after I saw this comment but couldn’t see the scare, what was it?
@@nadiamohamad3512 It was out of frame on her gameplay but it was on the stairs.

He probably rang the bell after breaking in to lure someone to the door as he's inside, hiding and watching. But that would quite explain the constant ringing
I LOVE Horror stuff but I don't usually get scared :( but Jeez this game...16:33 GOT me xD can't wait for the next episode!!
this game/series is really on another level. it's SOOOOOO good!
Gab: "You really heated up the whole thing, dude! Well, I guess they're fourteen - don't really think about portioning and leaving stuff for later..."

😂
Yeah, I felt attacked.
Just watched jack now im here
Holy crap. I love a good scare and that got me, didn't help that I was sat waaaaaay too close to the TV watching it 👀
I watched both Gab and Sean play both episodes. I love how Gab is redesigning the kid’s bedroom. I feel the same way though. It would drive me crazy to not see the door.
watching this after binging your outlast gameplays and at 10:44 i instantly go "just whip out the camera" lol
If my mom sent me a picture of someone at my front door at my house I would freak out.
I agree with you about the bed and the door Gab. I also have to have my door shut when I sleep and I have to face the door as well. If my back is to the door I can’t sleep. 😂
"fuck this oven dish" + editing... Love it
I was excited to try this game then I couldn't even make it through this episode from all the anxiety.. and now watching you play this is giving me anxiety all over again haha
Hi Gab! I just want you to know I watch your videos to calm my nerves while working! So thank you very much! You're such a chill and cool person.
I’m ill and restless so I’m here to chill a bit with you, Gab 🌸
14:23 "maybe we open the door" ... GABS, MY DUDE! WHY?!
I so hope you play the second episode when it comes out today or sometime soon!
Seeing you play this was so fun!
This game is really really great, i love this series and so excited with another episodes. The fact that i saw the second one of your gameplay before this lol.
Wondering why a 20 minute game has a 27 minute video
*Gab watches entire TV program
Me: ah...
omg that jumpscare at the end scared the hell out of me
I would freak out with the house colour and the layout too.
Excited for this series gab! Thanks for all your great content!
That's American homework for ya. Every single day. Hours of homework. It's why I started failing classes despite acing the exams.
Also, me, a 37 year old woman at the very beginning of this game: Let's just call mom and tell her to come home 🥺 It's too dark in here
I love Gab going in all guns blazing like "Hide? No who the fuck is at my door first!" 😂
