    This is an absolutely invaluable guide! After watching this, and doing some reflection on past games, I can remember clearly that the games I was the most successful in, I was in a mindset that instinctively had me following this strategy. However, I'm not a huge fan of the term "Inside Out Rule" because the term "inside-out" seems kind of nebulous here.
    Based on how you described it, the way it clicked in my mind is the "Raking" strategy. How do you use a rake? Extend it to its maximum length (most dangerous objective away from you), grab all the biggest bits you can on the way (highest value farming/objective path), and pull back towards yourself (or in this case, towards safety and away from danger along your path).

      I think this actually does come instinctively as a jungler because, when you're jungling, anytime something good happens (minions shoved, lane frozen, enemy slain) you automatically start looking at the map and thinking how you can capitalise on it. What's good about this video is that it takes that thought process from instinct to conscious thought and shows how it can be applied in all roles, not just jungle.

    #1: Shove wave and base.
    #2: Take Rift.
    #3: Take bot blue side jungle.
    #1: safest.
    #2: Top hasn't shown and Yi just died with red so his red side should be clear/near clear meaning GP and Kha have a 2v1 advantage.
    #3: Yi's blue side should still be up as he did not have blue buff when he died. Risky, though, since Yi's death timer is about 14-15s, enemy bot is in the middle of the lane and can respond quicker (Brand wave clear), and Yi has high base move speed.

    great content, i wish I had this kind of stuff years and years ago instead of learning it all slowly through trial and error. would've wasted a lot less time running around like a headless chicken in ranked.
    I like the names you gave to all of these concepts. to those who are a little more familiar, the "advantage" talked about in this video is usually referred to as "lane priority", or priority/prio for short. and if you've watched xFSN Saber, he refers to the "window" as "timer".
    to offer a bit of extra context, the reason why there even exist "windows" is because league is played kind of like in a turn-based format. by pushing a Minion wave, you earn yourself a turn (or a window), and if the enemy decides to make a play when it's your turn (and ignore the minions crashing into the tower), they automatically lose all the free gold and exp that they would have gained by staying in lane and farming. there are certain situations where ignoring the enemy's turn is a better idea, for example when a fight is breaking out nearby and assisting it would provide you a bigger advantage than killing minions. additionally, there are champion picks like Pyke mid who are forced to do this. Pyke cannot kill minion waves well early, so rotating and sharing kill gold with his ultimate ability in exchange for losing minions is often better.

I don't know how many games I have lost because people just overstay and think it's smart to not take the win of a fight or objective and just hang around to be picked off by the opponent. I would argue that taking the small wins mounts up to taking the game win in the end and not running around greedily with 1/5 hp just to immediately throw the gained advantage.

      Overstaying is as problem. But not as big a problem as players who win a fight and get nothing for it. Because they're too scared? Of the five players who are dead or 60 sec. away from actually getting to you? Winning but not furthering the game state is the true tragedy of throwers.

    Yes but what do you do if u were the jungler but your team doesn't respond to your pings or help you at all, they simply waste time running in circles which make your clear slower, and what if the enemy jungler keeps constantly invading your jungle with his teammates when your team doesn't bother to help you so you don't stay behind in the early game. How do you deal with that because it happened several times with mid/supp invading me with their jungler while my team standing in lane and farming? And the worst part is they don't get advantage in lane when I get invaded instead they die and give more advantages to the enemy.

      low elo makes no sense, especially those bronze silver games. honestly, gotta carry hard asf to win sometimes and even then ur team can have 0 braincels and make it a literal 1v9

    • @phoenix402
      @phoenix402 2 роки тому +4

      @@pauljamesmontoya4654 the silver lining here (pun intended) is that because everything in that elo goes to shit so often, you can be sure that the enemy team will make just as many, if not more, mistakes compared to yours. so if you're a bronze/silver player looking to climb, you should start by trying to spot and capitalize on early signs of mistakes. simple things like someone overstepping, for example. if you make use of this with champions that have strong all-in potential, it becomes extremely easy to start picking up a lot of kills early on. this is exactly why champions like darius for example are so strong on top, or assassins in mid and jung. if you just rake up kills off of enemy mistakes, there is fairly little they can now do to retaliate if you keep your own plays clean. at this point, the game revolves not around your team or their team's mistakes, instead it is entirely in YOUR hands now, which is where you want it to be.
      alternatively, if you arent confident in your ability to win by means of kills and mechanics, you can opt for winning by pressure instead. splitpushing is something low elo players struggle heavily with in terms of countering. champions like jax, garen, nasus, yorick and trynda are the bane of low elo if played correctly. and yes, some may consider them "noob champs" because of low mechanical ceiling, but their skill expression comes from reading the map and making the right decisions (something this video helps you with a lot), so it's not entirely "without skill" or "honourless". its also completely viable to use them to climb out of low elo and then switch to a playstyle/role you like more.
      overall, i hope this helps a bit and i wish you both good luck on the rift.

    • @DeathBean89
      @DeathBean89 2 роки тому

      Inside-out is a common English-language saying which can mean "backwards" or "in reverse order".
      At the start of the Braum clip, he said that most people think about the safe and close plays first. This rule says that you should think about the farthest / riskiest play first, and work backwards towards the riskiest play that you can get away with safely.
      If invading the enemy jungle is too risky and you don't have enough time to do it, then go help push mid with your team.
      If that's too risky because there are enemies in that area, then ward / recall and get back on the map after spending your gold.
      The general idea here is to take as much as you can away from the enemy team when you have a window of opportunity, or "advantage" as they called it in the video.

      Because you don't gain much from it. Khazix alone was probably not going to destroy it completely and then the enemy will have advantage on their jungle and will be able to contest herald. The game is about snowballing, denying jungle xp and herald is better than hitting a tower a couple of times. The herald alone is better than hitting a tower. Towers become easier to down as the game progresses anyways, there's no rush to hit them too hard early, it is always better to snowball the hardest way you can.

    I understand the argument that you don't need amazing mechanics to hit challenger, but truth is you *do* need mechanics because let's be honest, there's a big difference between iron and gold mechanically speaking. Not just in terms of knowing what your champion does, but basic things like how you move, space/tether or just being able to last hit. Mechanics isn't just hitting skill shots or making nice flash plays. It's literally everything you do with your mouse including camera movement. If JI's mechanics were iron level, he just wouldn't hit challenger. I feel that there's also a mechanical skill gap between gold and plat. You don't need Faker level mechanics to be challenger and some champions need way less than others, but JI's mechanics are good enough for challenger, and that's really the difference here. I just don't like the argument that you don't need mechanics to hit challenger. No, you don't need Faker level mechanics, but you do need mechanics.

Same with the jungle example I would have dug raptors and herald but I would have prob ran to drake right away instead of done your gromp. Howcome, you decided to give drake here and howcome you didn't mind not getting the mid tower as imo the t1 mid tower is the most imp tower to get

    • @phoenix402
      @phoenix402 2 роки тому +1

      what jonathan said is a good start. as for the why no mid tower/drake. from my understanding:
      - drake still needed some time to spawn and by the time you got there another fight would break out. not to mention that the enemies on respawn would rush right to it as a full group, while your team is likely still scattered minding their own business. since you need a good few drakes to get soul, its okay to give one or two up over the course of a game if it means keeping your coordination intact.
      - as for herald over tower, that's an easy one. once plating is gone, a single herald drop can easily take out two towers at once if properly followed up on. they could've simply busted mid with the herald and then take inner too right away. taking herald also opens up a strong split-push potential at sidelanes, which could cost the enemy even as much as an inhib turret if they're too slow to react.

    • @dylanmuscat
      @dylanmuscat 2 роки тому

      @@phoenix402 So you're saying that it was worth to give drake not to risk throwing a fight with the drake since they werent properly setup and didn't even reset. that makes a lot of sense.
      and yes I agree with the 2nd one didnt notice plating was down tbh, I guess taking mid tower would have been their next obj as I said I think its the most imp tower as it opens the map so much
