I have a Venus Fly Trap and I think it needs more sunlight than I'm able to provide!! haha I'm wondering about using LED commoun light to help it grow but I coudn't find any information about the wattage, what do you recommend me since it's a full sun plant?
@@pickledjalapeno9482 heey!! I think it's a matter of adaptation to this type of plant. The way you take care of it is different, but it’s really not hard! Always remember that the soil should consist of sphagnum moss (never use regular soil), the sun should be full and you must always leave the soil moist (almost soggy). Following these steps, I'm sure you won't have any difficulties! if you buy from a non-specialist store, remember to gradually place it in the sun so as not to burn the leaves. Important to take note: at certain times of the years, they tend to hibernate and appear to have died (but they haven’t 😂). In short, it has some peculiarities, but if you do a little research, you can understand a lot about it and succeed. Good luck, I'm sure you'll love them! 🥰
Hi Lucia for this year I'm going to try to save my rosemary, aloe, and two types of oregano can you please advise me on the light time and colors please
I'm thinking about getting some lights I've just started getting into plants. from what I've learned my light isn't strong enough to be considered bright indirect light. the plants I have may be alright, but I want them to thrive. if I get lights do I need to only use them when the sun is down? or do I use the lights in combo with whatever comes in the window.
Great video surrounding my LED grow lights with indoor plants! Because I do not have north or south windows in my home, at all. Only small east and west. I have all my plants in the middle of my home on the banister with large skylight. Works well during summer. But all other months is cloudy and not much sun. How do I compensate with grow lights?? Or where to try and move plants separately? I saw you have cord of light strings and thought that is so awesome! Help!!! I have orchids, snake, pepperomia, palm and rubber plants.
Hi! I am sorry I missed your comment! I have most of my high light loving plants together close to a grow light :). I'd say, check how much light your plants need, and if it is similar you can group them together under a grow light :) I know the snake plant is more adaptable in terms of light! The other ones depend on the type.. how did you do it in the end?
@@PlantsandLucia I have, for the most part, kept them all together on the banister. However, when I took my rubber plant, ice-fed orchid and snake plants downstairs to water, my ice-fed orchid IMMEDIATELY perked up, before I even put her in the water. The orchid has not bloomed since I received it about 3 years ago. I've decided to keep all 3 downstairs... In.The. Kitchen. It definitely is not brighter in the kitchen like under the skylight on the banister upstairs under the skylight. But because they seem to love it downstairs, that's where I've been keeping them. Just like children LOL!
Hii Lucia!! Love your videos! I have a question I noticed that you have some circle lights by you crates that you have on the wall . Thanks for the informative video!
It is my pleasure! So happy you found it informative 😁
Learned so much!
I'd say, check how much light your plants need, and if it is similar you can group them together under a grow light :)
I know the snake plant is more adaptable in terms of light!
So helpful, thank you!!
Thank you! So happy it was helpful :)
Hi! What are the best colours of lights for young plumeria plants (about a year old)?
Thanks for the usefull info ^^
Thank you. I learned so much!
Yay! You are so welcome :)
Hii Lucia!! Love your videos! I have a question I noticed that you have some circle lights by you crates that you have on the wall . I'm looking for small lights like those to put underneath my tv stand since the sunlight won't reach it ...do you have a link for the ones you use ..or have any recommendations?
Thank you ☺️
Thanks alot very usefull to my plant

Aww you are very welcome ! Glad you liked the video and thank you so much for being here 💚💚
I have a pothos that lost all variegation until it grew up to the grow light I got and all the new leaves are super variegated! Lol wild.
Haha yes that's true! variegations come out really nice when we provide nice light for our plants. Thank you for sharing!
