ive been going crazyt trying to figurte it out, I knew it had to do with my axle because it only happens to my rear one after I did underdrive on it, I'm going to try this out tmrw thank you for the tech tip you just earned a sub!
Dude, thanks a ton for this video! I just finished up my third SCX24 build, but it's my first with a brushless motor. I was experiencing this exact issue going downhill, it was nearly undrivable at the low speed my micro komodo is capable of, while uphill is as smooth as silk. Visually, I could tell it was because of the driveline and not the motor, but I had no idea what could be done. Then I found your timely video and did exactly what you recommended by adding o-rings to my worm gears, and... BAM! Night and day difference. I'm not gonna say it's gone away 100% (more like 90%), but it's a very significant improvement. I suppose it's more of an issue for me because I'm using aftermarket portal axles, but I plan to fully rebuild my axles and try to eliminate slop everywhere I can find it to see if that would fix it completely. Thanks again!
Your very welcome! I'm really glad the information was useful, Thanks for watching!

@@bentmojo13 Your welcome mate, thanks for watching 👍
Man, I thought they were just cheap and I needed some fancy new axles! Glad to fix that issue for free!
😂 yep nice easy cheap fix!
Thanks man appreciate the video ! My injora axles have been doing this and I had no idea what was wrong,a little bit of grease helped but it didn’t take care of it completely.
No problem, I appreciate you watching the video! Hope you get those Injora axles running super smooth! I like my Injora +4 axles they are pretty sweet 👍
Great tip! Something like that can be hard to notice. Another thing that can cause similar is drive shafts being out of phase. My DB shafts were both out straight outta the box. Might be a good topic for a follow up to this vid. 👍
Thank! You do bring up an interesting topic with the driveshaft phasing, I can't say I've personally noticed an issue from out of phase shafts at this scale but definitely worth looking at when diagnosing any binding type concern! Could definitely be an informative video topic! Thanks for your comment!
Solid video Nick! I’ve done the same thing before and it helped out awesome! Glad to see it in a video🤘🏻
Thanks Eric! Gotta keep it smooth mate!
Thanks for the tip. Gonna fix my worm gear now.
