I didn’t find out about these till after I had already bought two sets of Super 8’s from LGRP 3D/Billet. These are really nice. Nick killed it for sure.
Super cool axles for sure! I've been making a lot of custom length brass links lately, it allows me to change things up quickly and easily. With the long wheelbase it would definitely benefit from HC links! Thanks for stopping by!
I’m thinking about doing a SCX24 build I have the Proline LCG body & was thinking about using the Mazz chassis kit Mofo pancake motor but I’d like some different axles a little out of the norm will these axles fit that chassis?
Yeah these axles will bolt right on to any SCX24 build 👍 I haven't run any Mazz Designs chassis before, but I don't see why these wouldn't work like any other SCX24 axles.
I have beat the living hell out of these axles the only thing I have been able to break at all on the original aluminum first set was two screws in the link Riser and thank goodness I was able to get them out put steel I feel like that should be a replaceable link Riser instead of a mate on link Riser cuz that can really get you in a pickle or you can never use the truck
@@Gibsonlife573 Definitely an over built axle, I think the built in link riser looks cleaner, but I do see your point about having a replaceable one, much easier to just swap it out in the event screw breaks off in there!
I haven't personally tried the LGRP super 8 axles however the super 8 knuckle design does not allow for as much steering as the Mofo x15 axle. The x15 will have the tightest turning radius of any scx24 axle on the market! Plus you have bullet proof cvd's and knuckles that are compatible with trx4m parts so spare parts and upgrades will be easy to find, the servo mount is one of the best out there and all the hardware has been beefed up! For me the turning radius and spare parts availability/compatability is the big reason I'd choose Mofo X15!
@@havikhobbies Hi, thanks for getting back to me , yes after reading the information again on the MOFO site and watching the video again it does look to be a stronger set of axles , I hadn't taken into account the trx4 compatibility for parts and upgrades so I'm edging towards the x15 axles , I might just get a set of both and compare them myself , I will have a think and see if anyone else puts up some UA-cam videos of the X15's and make my mind up from there mate 🇬🇧
Almost looks like these axles are made for some hard hitting rock bouncer rigs! Very kewl stuff man! Almost wanna make one now cause I sooooo wanna get something with a Furitake Godzilla motor, bet these axles could do that thing some justice.
Would be epic to build something like the Furitek Olympus bouncer with these axles for sure! They are definitely up to the challenge! Thanks for hanging out mate!
@@havikhobbies They are insanely beefy..lol I think those new prolines are going to be an awesome addition to that slayer build you got going too man. Ive been finding that more rounded tires are the best at climbing and maneuvering over terrain as the square edge seem to dig in and bind. If you dont have trenchers get some, they are unreal awesome.
Yes that is one way to get more front axles! Would be nice to buy them one at a time for people on a tight budget was kind of where I was going with that one. Thanks for watching!

Yes Nick has definitely created something awesome with these axles! I can see them becoming quite popular. Thanks for stopping by 👍
lgrp's are better. I actually returned mine because i really wasnt impressed with them.
Those look sick! I'm surprised you're not running high clearance links.

I got the nylon ones, will swap out the knuckles to brass!
Nice! They are a really sweet axles!

Imagine if they came up with a dig kit. Drreeaams!
Yes I've been waiting for as scx24 transmission with a rear drive disconnect! That would be epic!
Are they any better then the LGRP super 8 axles , I'm not sure what to buy .

@@havikhobbies Love those carb. fib. rails!!! Have you got a template or even a scan of the rails? Would love to cut some custom like yours!
Thanks!
Id get some but they are always sold out.
Maybe shoot Nick an email and ask when the next batch is coming in? They're worth waiting for! Thanks for hanging out!

Nick sells 4 wheel steer packages so you won't get any rear ones.

Ahh No, is that a Facebook group? I don't use Facebook, but I do have an Instagram account. Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for hanging out!
