    If you just changed your motor double check the set screw because it could be hitting something else. Check for rocks or debris in the gears too. So many times the clicking comes from picking up something in the teeth.
    On my on-road it had a pin that kept the stub wheel axles and dogbones connected together and that pin would slide out a little and cause clicking. Typically only when I turned one direction vs the other. It definitely didn't seem like a good design.

      @BrightDogTraining the set screw is used to attach the pinion gear. You can also get noise from the gear mesh. Try turning the gears without the motor and see if you can feel any spots with resistance.

    With the spur and pinion, I wonder if putting something in between the two when setting up and tightening the motor down would help keep the mesh gap perfect and consistent for everyone. Especially those of us who's eye's are getting not so good with tiny stuff.....! LOL! Sometime you could stick between the teeth of the two, like a sliver of paper or dental floss or 4 lb braided fishing line or some kind of sewing thread, etc, etc. Just thick enough to get the perfect gear mesh spacing that can be slid out or feed out once the motor is tightened down.
    Just a thought. :)

    i noticed both the bottom screws fell out the front far ends of my axel an i have the Injora +4mm axels an they have little brass looking cylinder type things an its been a pain i have stormed my Tan carpet lol if someone seen me they would be laughing so hard. but i found one so i have three in. but im having issues when C10 is at full droop it vibrates a lot?

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Рік тому +1

      The vibrating is likely your driveshaft hitting links.

    Mine more than clicking it's noisy and not turning the axles at times , I imagine there's a pin that broke in the transmission, do I bother taking it apart or just buy new transmission, I gave it to my neighbor with 2 little boys and the use the heck out of it. I used it alot b4 I gave to them , I figured I'd buy furitec for mine and just put new transmission back in there's. Maybe the hobby shoo can give me transmission they put furitc in all there personal ones , do they sell stock transmission? You don't have answer I'm just thinking out loud it could be mesh like you said going check that now 😎

      You can pick up a metal transmission for like $20 on ali express or Amazon.

    Why do they put an o ring on the diff gear I didn't put one on mine when I put the overdrive in and it's been running ruff I'm wondering if this is the reason

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Рік тому +1

      It helps keep the slop out. You definitely want to run at least one o-ring. Some people run one on each side.

      Shave the shaft, or the link, or go 4 link or lower your ride height.

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Рік тому

      Make sure your battery is actually charging. Use a good charger to check the voltage.

      @guillermofernandez2956 Рік тому +1

      @@TheShopMiniRC okay thanks I charged it and the original charger broke but I had a charger that is the same so am going to try it

    • @TheShopMiniRC
      @TheShopMiniRC  Рік тому

      @@guillermofernandez2956 I think you want to actually get a good hobby grade charger to check the battery (ask someone who has one to check your battery for you.)
      If a battery gets too low, it has a cut off that stops the motor/esc from working. Usually you will still get steering, but no throttle.
      If you are 100% sure your battery is good, then it’s likely something else. (Maybe motor?)

    Hi! I had that problem where the screws for the knuckles hit the pins. I've got a few other problems too. Had to replace the esc with another stock one and now I have the use more throttle and can't crawl as smoothly. And my axels or wheels have alot of play which I show here at the start ua-cam.com/video/ytGf3T8hTio/v-deo.html

      Worm gears generally have a lot of play in them like that. I think all my rigs move about that much.
