- So having been off for a month not touching a golf club and being the golf gear buying degenerate that I am I decided that to try out some super game improvement clubs. I wanted to see if a mid handicap like myself has anything to gain from them. After 18 holes I learned a little about who these clubs are for and what purpose they serve.

I had the cleveland hb turbo before I got into one length irons. Very similar to the launch pad. They perform incredible good. I could easily game the long irons in the set again. Why not? Looks like I have similar handicap and clubhead speed as you.
Throwback clubs! That was my first set of irons I bought for myself (after using a really old set of irons my dad gave me). They were interesting but I hated the sound! Switched to One Length Radspeeds the next year lol

I love my smart sole wedges. Been using them for a few months they have significant improved my chipping and pitching. No real difference on full shots.
Definitely had me thinking multiple times if I should put them in the bag for sure!
Great video, I game the Wilson D9 irons and launchpad hybrids/driver from 5h down to driver. Their hybrids and driver have been great to me so far, makes the game that little bit more manageable from range. Spring valley looks nice, need to give it another go.
I am huge on playing whatever clubs/gear that make the games easier and more fun on the course. Thanks for sharing your setup!
Spring Valley greens are no joke. Holes 3,13, 15 and 16 are really tough. Based on your play-by-play the irons seemed easy and fun to play with. Great video. Can't wait for the next one.

I did a downsize recently but I still have quite a bit of gear 😂 I am a true golf gear degenerate haha. I will do a best/worst golf gear ourchase video in the future!

Not too much sand to try the smart soles on but they are excellent. They just dont spin and bite a ton. Very easy to just open the face and swing away to get over tougher stuff
Was really impressed honestly! And yeah the sand shot sample size of 1 is to not fault of the wedge I am a horrible bunker player 😂
