    Hi Eric,
Thank you for this video, which once again, teaches us a lot and reminds us of what we tend to forget about the mindset.
I've just lost 52kg since March 1st, thanks to a caloric deficit and a lot of sport. I was looking for a way to stabilize my weight because I think I will stop my deficit in a few weeks. Now I have all the keys in hand to serenely enter a new era 💪
Thank you for being so educational, professional and friendly, and that with humor 💯

😭 I literally feel like I have to send you my request on topic ahead of time when I am stuck figuring out the next step, because YOU COME RIGHT AT THE TIME I MESSED UP ON SOMETHING and struggle!! THIS is exactly where I am at now. Lost 65 pounds in 1 yr… kind of stayed there for another yr and the last 2 months hit me hard as I tried learning all this REVERSE diet and as you said it, that explains my weight gain now! I strict myself so hard and bad and I over ate and did my food these past months and rapidly have gained BACK 33 ppunds 😫 I was hearing “okay, you need to eat up now” and my mind went “oh hell no!” for a little then I said “yes, I do need to because I feel weak and worse now” and just went crazy!! I didn’t understand and I know there is some muscle gains too ❤which I can feel it INSIDE but I am carrying back bad BMI and overall I can feel the gain in a bad way again 😮‍💨 YOU ARE ALWAYS MY SIGN!!! Thank yooouu !!! 🥹🫂🙏🫶🏼

Thank you so much for this vid! So much on weight loss and not enough on maintenance out there and that’s the hard part. If it’s not too much trouble, can you do a vid on maintenance workouts (reps, sets, volume etc) also please? Thanks again for this vid!

So what are some goals that we can look to during maintenance ? That’s where I’m lost at . It’s like deficit = lose weight or surplus = gain muscle.. but what about maintenance?

Performance based goal - get stronger - get chin ups - improve deadlift to a certain # - things like that

Also, is progressive overload necessary/important when you just maintain your muscle? If not, what do you then in terms of volume? Thanks in advance!

I was looking for your take on how much water to drink daily when trying to lose weight. Every trainer recommends something different. Do you have a video on that or what’s your take?

Eric what happens when your calorie deficit is lower than your BMR? What do you mean 2 cents! My whole being of obesity depends on your videos!

I walk 12k steps a day and lift weights 4xs a week for about 1 1/2 hours each time I lift
    I am 165 pounds currently and 5'6.
I lost 180 pounds got down to 146
And once i got there I didn't know what to do and over the past year I've gained like 20 pounds
Id like to stay between 150 and 155
Tis hard for me to figure out how to stay there

      @@ericrobertsfitness yea most likely
Once I got to my goal
I didnt know how much I could go up in calories so I probably over ate

I wish I was closer to goal. Being a 50 yr old 5 ft female , bmr is so dang low and have to have a calorie deficit on top of that to lose. Taking forever. Weight training 3 days a week and some cardio 2 to 3 days as well. Scale isn't moving , gaining muscle but stuck for months at the same weight. Would be fine if I didn't need to lose more weight because of height.

So if your goal is 170
aim for 166 that way you ear the 4 calories and now you're 170 😂
