I can attest to the APEXINNO VR NOSE Cover for the Quest 3. I have had one on my Quest 3 for several weeks and it works great. It blocks 90-95% of the light from the nose area. Money well spent. ;-)
Your reviews have been very helpful. I bought both the Binbok battery strap and Apexinno face pad cover and anti leakage nose pad as a result of your reviews. I look forward to a great Quest 3 experience. Santa winked I'm getting one for Christmas.Great work, thanks!
Glad to help and thanks for taking the time to watch and comment as well. I have a few other suggestions for software too. I've just started the 7th Guest, but so far it is really cool. Not really a horror title, more like a VR Escape Room. And then depending on if you like Pinball or not, I've been REALLY enjoying the Star Wars VR Pinball Games, I've played pinball in VR before, but the new clarity of the Quest 3 makes it feel more like you are playing Pinball than any other time I've done it. Then there is Richie's Plank Experience which is a great way to freak new people to VR out... it really makes you feel like you are standing on a board way up in the air (great fun). If you are into Board Games, Demeo is an amazing mix of D&D and a Card Game that works with the Mixed Reality of the Quest 3, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I also have a few more that I picked up that I haven't spent much time in, Ironman VR (just looked cool) and Golf+ because I like the Football. I don't personally know if they are good or not but they have good reviews. And finally, if you are doing any PCVR on the Quest 3, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Virtual Desktop as your interface, it is amazing! As my Christmas Present to my viewers, I'm going to add the share codes in the description above to save anyone interested 25% on these titles. Merry Christmas Everyone!
AWESOME, Ya I love mine and the company has been great to work with. I can't believe how fast they get the lenses made and shipped out to customers. Really happy to have found them. Thanks for the comment!
I don't think it does... its been getting cold here in Colorado so I do get some fog if the headset has been sitting awhile and is chilled, until it warms up a little with me in it. Once everything acclimates it is fine, just like all the other headsets I've ever owned. Now if I start to sweat heavily it might be a different story, but so far not an issue.
Good stuff! I've watched a few of your other videos, have you done a cable comparison for the cable you said you would go back to in this video? I'm looking at cable options myself. Thank you, great content only just now subscribed but happy to be here.
Thanks for the Sub! Appreciate you taking the time to watch our content. So here is the original cable that I tried amzn.to/47jYvmy Honestly I think if the cables are USB 3.0 Type C to C then they will probably all be about the same for data transmission, charging capability etc. You certainly don't need to spend the stupid amount of money that Meta wants for their link cable, just pick up a good 3rd Party and you will be fine. I personally don't even think using the Link Cable for anything other than charging from the original Quest 3 wall puck is even necessary. I'm getting the same results from the wireless function on the Quest 3. Hope that helps, and thanks again for supporting GYGO!
So the simple answer is YES it is much better. The Pancake Lenses give you edge to edge clarity, The FOV is much better and it has some amazing tech with the hand tracking and all that good stuff. If you haven't seen my review, check it out here ua-cam.com/video/jV5otY20y0U/v-deo.html The ONLY thing that you need to know is you must have a good wireless router (Wifi 6e or 7 is best but 5e will work if you don't have too many people on it). The best way you hook to the PC is through a program called Virtual Desktop which really is a must have for PCVR on the Quest 3 www.oculus.com/appreferrals/Srotten/2017050365004772/ You will also need a battery solution like the BinBok ua-cam.com/video/HpAKP28qZXw/v-deo.html (or Bobo3 depending on the style of headstrap you like) so plan on spending at least $100 hundred more to get all that stuff too. Finally, you get access to some pretty cool stand alone games as well that you don't even need a computer for... they aren't quite as good as PC games in general but I've had a good time with a lot of them. Anyway I hope that helps and please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with. Thanks for watching.
@@GYGOtv wow, what a thorough answer. Thanks so much. I have a lot to think about , especially regarding Wifi , and thanks for the links, time to watch them all!!!
The silicone cover mentioned in the video amzn.to/46AoJ3n works pretty good at keeping sweat from absorbing into the face pad and is super easy to take off if you aren't doing "sweaty stuff". Otherwise maybe look and see if Kiwi or somebody has a whole silicone replacement yet. Hope that helps.
Have you tried a 2 to 1 type C adapter so you can plug both cables into the side of the headset? There are some 90 degree ones out there but not sure if they are only for power or if they can transfer data through them as well. If I run the Oculus Link cable I can get very very close image quality compared to VD. I have to use Oculus Tray Tool in order to do so though but that’s fine because I can set up game profiles in there
No I haven't because honestly I don't see any reason to run the graphics through the cable. VD gives me as good (actually IMO better) graphics than the cable and I hate being tethered. Now with the new Steam Link app being free, I don't see any reason to use a cable other than if you need to charge it (using the wall adapter of course). With my BinBok batteries, I likely won't ever use a cable moving forward because I love the freedom of wireless. Thanks for the question.
No I never have seen one for that. I think with the faux leather on the Aero, people probably aren't as worried about keeping it clean so maybe that is why? I did try this one on the Aero just to double check and it does not even come close to fitting. If I find one, I'll be sure to let you know. Thanks for watching.
Sorry about that... I try not to sound like a commercial, I still give my honest opinion and you certainly won't find that in a typical "advert". I do my best to only do these kind of videos for companies that I honestly believe in their products. I get emailed ALL THE TIME from companies that want me to do basically a commercial for them and I turn the majority of them down. I am honestly just a fan of HONSVR and also I love how ApexInno fixed the nose light leakage problem that I hated with the Quest 3 so I was excited to tell you all about them.

Agreed, thank so much to @DavidLeeMenefee for telling me about it! Appreciate the comment.

Just received my Honsvr snap in lenses. They are great!!!!

I think the stiffness of the cable keeps it from kinking also.
Ahh, yes good point! I didn't think of that. You could probably also use it to tow your car :) Thanks for the comment.
Always great GYGO.
Thanks flying monkey, appreciate you watching our stuff as always.
🤔 Does having that nose light bleed addon cause the lenses to fog up ? I would think it traps more heat during heavy use.

APEXINNO much more better
is the QUEST 3 better than my HP G2? I might consider replacing it if it's better. I heard the Q3 is about 5 small

Have you ever come across a silicon cover for the aero? Been looking for that

this feels like a 10 minute advert
