Thank You so much but I will be reviewing this many times. My family gave me the Cricut Maker for my birthday this Nov. 4th for my 75th. I have the older models so now I can pass them to by very craft granddaughter. I felt very intimidated but with your help, I am so excited to start my journey.

I recently got the Maker, after having used the Expression for many years - but never with Design Space. Now I feel more confident to go into DS and make some things. This is ridiculous, but I could almost cry, I'm so happy I found you! I have been struggling with things like 'slice' and 'flatten', even the print, cut, draw functions, but--like everyone else here says-- you explained it SO clearly and simply! What a gifted teacher you are! I have watched so many tutorials, been irritated with so many vloggers, but now it's just you! You didn't waste one second of my time and you didn't irritate me at all! (hahaha!)

Thank you Maymay so much for this video. I just purchased a Cricut maker and this has helped a lot. I think with most things you just have to play with it. I still have lots and lots to learn. My other Cricut machine is one of the first ones that they made. I was glad to find out that all the cartridges that I have in my collection I am able to transfer to my new machine. Thanks for your clear and informative video. I bought a Cricut 5 years ago and got frustrated and put it on the shelf forever. Recently decided to get the Cricut Air 2 and give it a try. Frustration creeping in again. Your video really helps and I like that you explain why you have to do things a certain way. It's how the Cricut is programmed! Thank you!!! I was the kid in Algebra who the teacher asked if "you got this?" Meaning, she could move on with her lesson now that the "uh, slow kid" got it. I have taken (spent real $$) classes at Joann's, watched Lori and Mel Lane, but spent hours wasting paper, and honest tears with this explore and just hated the thing. (unless it was a make it now project). Thank You!!! Thank YOU! Yes Mam, enrolled in three of Tanner's upcoming Made IT Con classes. (might start praying for him?) Will dust the cobb webs off the machine and practice these lessons before Pigeon Forge!!!! Really like the prerecorded Cricut Lesson because we can watch it over and over (for me, over again). Thank YOU!!!!

Wow, wow & wow. Thank you for the best Cricut tutorial I’ve ever watched. The Cricut machine is one of the most complicated machines I’ve ever owned and I rarely use it. I started out with the first machine and now have the Cricut Impression. Having Design Space is awesome but without tutorials like this I would end up wasting hours & hours on one simple design and usually end up shutting off the machine and giving up. I hope you’ll be doing more of these and also for the Scan & Cut machine. The Scan & Cut I also find to be not user friendly. Hopefully with a tutorial as well done as your Cricut one is, I’ll change my mind and begin to use it. Thanks.

This was an excellent tutorial!
I am just going to say thank you! I have watched so many videos on design space and everyone breaks them down into different videos and doesn't explain things the greatest. This video was easy to understand and concise. Perfect video! That contour segment was perfect, as was weld. It was all good. The other stuff i knew from experimenting but i couldn't figure out the weld and contour before and got so frustrated with those little cut marks. I may find that cricut is now more enjoyable.
P.s. you wouldn't be able to do a cricut tutorial on cutting on vinyl, would you?

If you right click your mouse you can also do a few things, delete, duplicate, send to front etc...

Loved the video, i think you should add a few cricut videos to one of your recorded days. I do more now simply because of AGG, before that it was such a pain to assemble the little pieces together now that glue has changed my world. I try more multi layers, i think you should do a few layered images.
