America is the world leader in incarcerating it's own people, 5% of the population, more than China, Iran/Iraq & Russia combined -
America has far more problems than just jailing young black men..the legal system is broken and there is inherently no justice system whatsoever.

The only thing that one cannot be forgiven for is Blasphemy.
That's why those that believe need to stay in prayer continually for the people of Adonai Yeshua HaMessiah to be delivered from all forms of Darkness. Stop taking that sacrifice made by our Lord and savior for granted because their is power in the blood if Adonai Yeshua HaMessiah, because demons and devils are real and they do not appear like those in the movies.
Pray always for the will of Adonai YHWH to be done. The unrepentant will be condemned. Be careful not to be condemned along with them because you cannot forgive them. Shalom,

They want crimes to be seen as mental heath issues and to treat society as children and believe in utopia.. social workers no cops, no boarders one global system etc. We must do our part by actually petitioning our lawmakers in our states where these things are decided. I don't know exactly how he felt, but I can fathom it and understand exactly, but I can say Slade was a strong man for definite, it's the young age that makes you surviv like that.

But to incarcerate her in a juvenile detention facility after she had been a captive by a monster and lost her whole family was disgusting on the judge’s part. There's a vast difference between someone doing drugs or property crime and someone doing something to harm another human being. While I absolutely agree that prison should be first and foremost a rehabilitation process and a place where people are given therapy and skills to cope and survive without doing harm to others, people who harm others for sexual pleasure are extremely dangerous after re-release and studies confirm it over and over again. They shouldn't be allowed to live unsupervised, unmedicated, without therapy.

I knew of this case already and I wish they would have included some of the interviews that Shasta has given as an adult. If I remember everything correctly she has said that Joseph r*ped her too and had tried to strangle her to death but didn’t when she called him „Joe“ (which was supposedly how his mum called him). Another detail I would have liked to be mentioned is that Josep asked Shasta to visit him in prison when he was arrested at that Denny‘s and she said yes (but obviously never did). Imagine having the gall to ask a child to visit you in prison after brutally killing her whole family and torturing her. This guy was truly insane! I wish they would have elaborated on the things that he had written about his childhood.
If I recall correctly Shasta struggled with addiction and I think that at least one biological child was taken from her (as far as I understood not because of abuse but because of her addiction- which might have led to neglect idk). I‘ve seen comments scrutinizing her for that and I find that disgusting. Some people can’t even find empathy for an addict who endured what she did. The fact that she’s still alive is a miracle to me and shows how strong she is. I hope that she got the help that she needed.

If due process of law isn't followed, the offender might be released. You are just supposed to "pick yourself up by the bootstraps" and make it through life no matter what hand you are dealt. Unfortunately, in the real world, that isn't something that can be done by everyone. Some people aren't born into money, or a loving family, or with total control of their mental facilities, so a stronger infrastructure of a safety net is vital to stop these things from happening. But like in most situations in this country, we don't try to prevent issues, we just react once something horrible happens. Its sad and it won't change.

I sit here after finishing this story and my mind is racing with words like cruel and evil and inhuman. My heart goes out to the survivor and her family. Please, everyone, keep your heads on a swivel. Lock your doors and windows. Get sensors or cameras. Take care of eachother bc there are so many people in this world that want to do harm. It comes so easy to these criminals and I just can't wrap my head around how or why. That's why I love these videos. It's to help me understand the darkness that is real in this world so I take nothing for granted and can pay homage to the victims and their stories.

Exactly. We all never know how close we have come to being a victim in our lives. Evil lurks. I'm a single parent, pray for my child's safety daily. Taught her to shoot, self awareness. I teach Martial Arts to kids at our local rec center and can't get my child interested to learn and train. It's frustrating.

im from bangladesh and i saw this news about 3 members of a family being found dead with no trace of the killer, and only now after finishing the whole video, i realized this story is connected to that news on tv. when they reported it our national tv i really wished that the killer would be found and brought to justice. they didn't mention the disappearance of the other two kids tho

    Color me surprised.

This is one of the WORST cases I've came across. My heart goes out to those poor children. This is beyond disturbing.

It's unbelievable how that girl went through 2 months of hell but still managed to keep herself alive and get herself found.

I would bet anything that not 1 person that commits acts like these could EVER be rehabilitated.

I knew Shasta growing up. She was a few grades lower than me... She went to my high school, and she had a friend group that was kind of polar to mine. I wish I would have reached out to her more than I did to become a friend that truly cares for her for life... But I was a shy emo kid, and was caught up back then... I hope she is doing well now, and is getting the love and care that she needs and deserves, from people who know how to love and care... which is rare.

So sad that he was never charged for the little girls murders, even after admitting to it all. Horrible for the family of them girls.

This genuinely has to be one of the most sickening cases I’ve ever heard.

Just reading a lot of comments…💔 This happened near where I live and a few years ago Shasta was really not ok. She went missing with her sons (but were all located safe) and has had a really hard time (as anyone could imagine). People didn’t cover the case for years because she didn’t want to talk about it. I’m happy to see her speaking about it now because I hope that means she’s in a better place and with more publicity, I hope she’s given more resources, support, and love. ❤
I’ve watched specials on survivors that Elizabeth Smart works with and it’s made me sad to not see Shasta being with others that understand that kind of trauma and can share their support. I hope her speaking out helps get her all the things she needs

I was thinking of that too! I remember how when Jayme Closs escaped, Elizabeth Smart, another woman whose family was murdered by her abductor, and I think two other survivors of similar horrors met with Jayme to help give her hope and support.

@@michellebuskie4102 Anyone who sees this as entertainment is sick. It's education. If we don't get these stories out there then the relaxed laws that let monsters do this will never be changed. Not saying she has to talk to anyone if she doesn't want to, just that her life and trauma isn't "other people's entertainment".
