    Hi Evelina,
    I watch you for 6(!?) years now, and I just want to tell you, I really love your content and your authenticity! I guess you read comments like this a lot, but I just wanted to put it out there, since I don't comment a lot on youtube. I kind of grew up with your videos, and I just want to say thank you. I'm really happy for you, being so happy now :-) You are beautiful!

    relationships take a lot of work to keep the person that you love and if you're not both giving 100% then chances are the person doing all the work is going to feel let down until there is no more relationship

    I'm so happy you finally were able to open up about this bc it is such a sensitive issue! As a Christian, I am so appalled by the people from your old church who claim to be your support system and just turn their back on you when you need them and feel the need to judge you for making that difficult decision. Christians like that are the reasons why Christians arent very well liked. We're all human and at the end of the day, even if we make mistakes and decisions that oppose the law of the Bible, there's Grace. And yes evelina, God loves you and wants nothing more than to see you happy and growing in your journey. Love ya ❤️

      naohms You are blaming christians for following what the bible says? Because, what you say about there being grace for bad decisions is not true. ( Hebrews 10.26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.) So yes, if you made a mistake there is grace. But you can't keep on making bad decisions and relying on grace. If you do not know the bible than please stop making wrong accusations on christians. Thank you.

    • @naohms
      @naohms 7 років тому +21

      Agnesa Meshkov you're right, grace does not give people the license to sin, but it's also not up to me to judge people based on what they have done because i am in no position to. Im human and imperfect. If someone i love went through what evelina went through, i would offer my advice, but whatever decision she made i should still love her regardless, because thats how the Jesus that i have come to know would. It's not up to me to pass judgment or punishment for those who have made mistakes. Did Jesus stone the whore when the pharisees brought her to him? If a righteous man like him showed her compassion and forgiveness, who am i to not do the same? Grace came so that we can be empowered to overcome sin. Right believing leads to right behaving. And in my opinion, nobody should go through the problems of life alone just bc it's "sinful". Jesus meets us where we are because we can never be righteous on our own merit. “I am writing to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:12 our past, present and future sins have been forgiven and not just if we decide to confess. We dont get negated access to God's righteousness and blessing for making a mistake, whats the point of Jesus coming in the first place? Everyone goes through storms in their life, and amidst all of that, God is there to meet us where we're at, so for me, i believe that i should meet people where they're at and be like Jesus to them when theyre going through a bad season. ❤️ have a great day!

    • @agnesameshkov2232
      @agnesameshkov2232 7 років тому +5

      naohms I am not saying we should not love sinners but we should not accept their sin as something that is ok just because that is who they are.You are right, we should love everyone like Jesus did the whore, but also not forget that he told her to sin no more and to change her ways. ❤

    People spend so much time and money Planning their wedding and NOT on their actual marriage. After your wedding day how are you going to uphold a promise for a life time without preparation and guidance. Marriage at the start is like an empty box and you have to continue to fill it up with intimacy, love, friendship, and more. It's like a baby that you have to take care of. Maturity is also really important. Just because you may think that you're mature doesn't mean you actually are. I grew up really fast because of my beliefs and childhood. My husband and I were both living on our own. Marriage is hard. You must love unconditionally and be patient... People get divorced after they are no longer in love and their spouse is acting up, but when one gets married you don't say to the other that you'll be together until they no longer please you. Marriage is work and staying in love takes work. Marriage is a journey and you don't know how to be a husband or a wife at the start so it's crazy have many expectations of each other. My husband and I have gone through so much, but our marriage is getting so much better over time. We got married at 20. People who want easy things and have the wrong ideas about marriage always end up in divorce. You don't just become one once you say I do... it's a process and a decision to say yes. Love is a choice.... infatuation and feelings on the other hand are not reliable. You can stay in love in marriage as long as you keep pushing for closeness, forgiving, being a friend, serving each other, and more. It's not that difficult, but some of us make it more difficult than it has to be. 💕

      How about if they stay a man child that is too picky to get a job? While you grow into a stronger person who values herself and pays all the bills? Marriage is about two sides giving, all the time. Not for a short time after the convo. Sometimes the guy is just not strong enough to change, and the girl decides that she has outgrown him and wants someone at her level of ferocity in life?

      @@LAinLA86 of course I do too. It's just that the effort for sustaining marriage was one sided, and I put in all the work. When I noticed my behavior was not promoting health marriage ( like put my self interests above his) I would recognize and correct that. The problem tho, is that because it was one sided, over time it ended up with his needs always being met...and my needs were not met. And he refused to recognize this problem. I tolerated this for years, until the last few months I went under drastic changes, and I learned to value myself and meet my needs. So, I split up with him. Because I have changed, and he did not.

      In Moldova all the girls have the goals of getting a boyfriend and a husband, that's how it is. Moldova isn't a fully European country yet (we still have a long way to go), so people are pretty conservative over here.

Most girls end school and get married after it. I will get married after finishing my studies. But I live in a small village, in big citys is kinda different.

    I am one of those rare people who married young and I'm still with my husband 17 years later. I have always been on the mature side with a strong sense of self, so I haven't really changed much since we met when I was 17. However, I don't think I would want the same for my kids because I realize the majority of people do change quite a bit in their young adult years. I'm together with my boyfriend for a little over 3 years and we have huge differences but we still make it work. Partially because we're both patient in our own different ways and also because we know our love is strong enough to have our differences.

    I got engaged at 21 and ended it a year later (thankfully before our wedding) when I realized that we were both changing very quickly and in ways that caused us to clash. We tried counseling and a number of other ways of dealing with our differences but ultimately it seemed like we both just wanted that sense of family and stability to the extent that we were ignoring the red flags in our relationship. At one point he suggested to me that we just get married and if we get divorced, oh well... and that was the red flag I couldn't ignore. It's so much better to wait! If you're going to be together forever, there shouldn't be a rush.
    Thank you for this video, it feels good to be able to relate to your story!

    So I got married to my husband when I was 19 years old we met at the end of February we married in November he's 4 years older than me. At that time he wasn't a legal residents in U.S I decided to marry him and sponsor him. I went into this marriage thinking if it works out it will if it won't I'm still young I can do whatever I want in my life even if we end up divorcing I wanted him to have the same opportunities as I did in this country. Right now I'm almost 28 this spring we welcomed our first son Robbie. Life is very unpredictable but we can not be afraid of it. For us it worked out even though I don't feel that we are so compatible :-)

    It's crazy even at a young age how much TIME, EFFORT, and ENERGY it takes when we are focused/in a relationship. Even at 12 or 15 years old, you don't realize, but that's not the time to have your mind be on a significant other. You're still a kid point blank period. Everyone around me grew up fast per se so I felt the need to jump into one very early. Boy how I wish I could tell all the young girls you will thank yourself and have way more fun not focusing on boys/relationships yet. You'll get he rest of your life to do that!!
    I didn't get married, but I thought I was SO in love (also to escape home situation) that I moved across country with my partner at 19. It was such a wakeup call when I realized FOUR years later that I was with an unstable person and had wasted all those years in a toxic relationship. If I could give any advice to anyone at 18/19 even 15, is to PLEASE FIND A HOBBY OR FAVORITE ACTIVITY AND FOCUS ON THAT INSTEAD OF RELATIONSHIPS. Those years are so crucial to find what you love and fine tune your craft. To think of having relationship experience (not really) under your belt, and THEN at 23-25 start to play, have fun, learn a new language/instrument/skill you can really feel behind in a sense. I understand it's sometimes inevitable the way family, culture, religion etc sets us up to desire things BUT if I could help out any one person to choose to spend some great years "finding" themselves or just having fun instead of in a romantic relationship, I'd be so happy.

    I'm so happy for you Evelina and you always inspire me. My life since 4 years is so hard. My story is different but we have some things in common, and whenever I feel sad I watch your videos and Kalel's although I didn't know that you are that close. But I have to say that everything you said in this video is 100% right and thank you for sharing your story. I'm so happy for you 🤗

    I can't imagine getting married at 21! I turned 25 today (it's my birthday!) and am a completely different person 4 years ago. I've grown up, my emotions/thoughts have matured, graduated from college, dated different guys, growing my own business, working on personal projects. Sometimes people aren't supposed to stay but will bring us closer to the people we are supposed to be with. I agree partners should be compatible and see what you do have in common. Opposites don't attract, 2 people can have different hobbies can bring, you into their world but they can't be so opposite that you hate everything each other does or don't have the same values. You have to be similar in life experiences over time that's how you get to know someone & build trust.

Our past failures do not define who we are, we learn from our mistakes and we move on and be better. I just have one question: what lipstick you use in this video? I really like this lip color on you!!

    I agree with you on a lot of things - about marrying that young, getting to know yourself, all of that stuff. But I dont think you need to be 95 % compatible for a relationship to work. Definitely you need to have similar views on some things and find similar things important but you don't have to be practically the same person, you can have different interests, opinions on things and stuff like that. That's how I see it. I do agree with you mostly tho, like you said you're always developing so it's better not to rush with such decisions. Don't take my comment the wrong way, I loved this video, I just wanted to share something I disagree with, everything else I think you hit spot on :)

    I don't usually comment on videos, but this really touched me and I needed to hear much of what you said. I recently broke up with my exboyfriend of 4 years. We met when he was 17 and I had just turned 16 a month earlier. We had planned on getting married, I had a promise ring and things just to a point something needed to change. The break up happened so fast and I've been worried I'll never find another love like that. Everything you said in this video has made me feel better and that it's okay to not be with someone you're going to marry at the age of 20! Thank you, Evelin's 💕
